From all the travels the young girl had taken was starting to really affect her. The constant fear and loneliness left her mentally drained. She had not spoken a word throughout her travels, always afraid of being heard and being found. Being haunted and being devoured by the always hungry demons that lived and roamed the lands.
No matter where she went she would never be out of danger. Knowing this, she was losing hope and giving up trying to survive. For what was the point? The look on her face was of complete drain. The sky was getting darker as her hooves dug into the earth, bringing her up the rather steep hill and out of the forest. Dazed and absent minded she stared at the foreboding castle with barely a thought. As the skies got darker and a red hue formed over the castle her mind was a little slow in considering the meaning behind it. With a small breath she sat down on her knees and stared at the ground. Her eyes were half closed, and nothing she did could really wake her.

The Myst around the castle becomes more noticeable and blood like as the sun set, leaving nothing but the pale moon light reflecting over the landscape. As all grew silent only the red glowing eyes could be seen that seem to just appear right outside of the forest behind her. As he drew closer his pale skin would reflect the light of the moon, giving his skin a pale glow. His black hair was gently swaying into the wind along with the clothing he wore, which was all black. Only the cross around his neck seem to stick out. His large claws seemingly that of a powerful demon, but he was obvious not a demon, least a normal one.
He approaches the deer demon from behind, unsure what it was she was doing this close to his castle. He stops before her seeing that she was weak, unsure of her reasoning, he did not question her. His arms quickly move around her lifting her up into his arms before carrying her the rest of the way towards the castle.

In any normal circumstance the deer demon would have had the energy to resist the stranger. At least given up the smallest bit of fights but his power would have completely overwhelmed her sooner or later. The fight in her wasn't there this time. Nothing was there. She wasn't sure where it had went or when it would return. Until then she wouldn't worry. The deer had no energy to do so, or panic.
So instead the deer was limp in the stranger's arms. No point in resisting. What would that gain her? Absolutely nothing. So she gave in to whatever fate was in store with this person. Whatever he would do with her. The only thing she could see him doing with her was boiling her up or eating her raw. At any time such imaginations would leave her heart poudning, her body shaking, and fighting with all her might. Some sort of resistance.
All the deer demon did was close her eyes, and give in to her mental exhaustion.

The Vampire let her collapse into his arms, as he mind dozed in and out as he lead her within the castle. His slowly sat her down onto a table leaving her there as he moves to the upper floors, preparing a room for the demon. He soon return and begin carrying her up to the room, laying her onto the bed, and gently pulling a sheet of silk over her body before he left the room, shutting the door.
The vampire left that floor bringing himself back to the first floor into the throne room, taking a seat into the large throne in its center. His red glowing eyes peer through its dark halls as he grew silent and still. His leg slowly moves up and crosses with the other as he rest her arm onto the Throne of Jade resting his chin upon his hand.

As the door shut and the deer was alone, she slowly began to wake up. Still exhausted, but her predicament was finally clicking in her brain. Slowly her eyes widened and she stared at the ceiling before she pulled the sheet over her head. A small and false sense of security as she tried to wake herself up, going through her thoughts. On why, exactly, she had been left in a bed and wasn't on a fire.
The deer demon didn't want to move. She wanted to stay in this comfortable bed forever and never worry about anything ever again. Of course, she was already worrying. Over the stranger that had brought her here, over his intentions. The flight response was already kicking in. The adrenaline pumped quickly through her vein, making her heart pound and muscles tense.
Get out, get out...
Jolting out of the bed she darted for the door. She panted, already losing her energy as she moved herself down the hallways. She came to the stairs and quickly descended them, she was almost down when she slipped; yelping in surprise and pain she fell on her butt, skidding down the last four steps. In the end she was on her back, her butt aching and bruised with her legs in the air. She whimpered and groaned, closing her legs instinctually knowing how very inappropriate her position was.

The vampire knew as soon as she left the room. He slowly stood from his throne and slowly begins heading back towards the steps in a slow manner, walking back into the main hall as he watches her fall down the steps in her panic rush. He slightly shook his head to the sides before walking over to her. “You have not had time to fully regain your energy I would advise you to rest.” His voice broke through the silence rasp and cracked, as if he was a voice straight from a nightmare.
The figure before her look nothing but that of a human other then a few traits that would make you think he was demon. His arm extends down under her shoulder and helps her up to her feet. His eyes slightly shift over her as he examine her clothing as he did not before. He slowly moves his hand away from her letting her stand on her own.

The deer didn't really have the energy to get up. She didn't find the need to and thought it better to just lay there. Until he came. His voice immediately brought a rush of energy, jolting her into reality. "Eep!" she squeaked, still in her awkward position she used her hands to bring her skirt to cover her private areas. With that done, she moved herself to sit up right. She stuttered as she was brought onto her feet.
"I-I have enough energy, alot of energy!" she declared, stepping away from him. She stumbled but regained herself, staring at him nervously. "S-so...I'll get going then..." the deer watched him warily, stepping backwards and never allowing the strange man to leave her sight.

He turns away from her and begins to slowly walking away. “Do as you wish.” His dark broken voice came once more. The Vampire continue and left her there, since if she did have the energy he had no reason to help her anymore. Down the main hall you could see him enter another section before fading into the doors shadows. He made his way back into the throne room which was just as large as the main hall, leading up towards his throne of jade. Around the jade was that of a few skulls of demons that had been polished and preserved.
He slowly moves taking his seat onto the throne as his eyes close resting onto the throne. His legs slightly cross once more as he slouches as he seem to be waiting. His nose slightly twitches more out of reflex but after that he grew still.

Merodi stayed very still, staring at him as he got further and further away. Her heart was pounding, and didn't slow until she couldn't see him anymore. Then she counted the seconds. Slow, slow seconds. With a small breathe she started running again. She stumbled again, almost running into the door. She quickly pushed it open and met the cold outside.
The blood drained from her face, and her whole body for that matter. That blood red sky and the cold chill. The painful silence. She gripped the door tightly, as if it would suddenly push her out into the cruel world that was outside. The howl of a wolf was the last straw, and she rushed inside, slamming the door closed and running far, far away. Down the dark hallway and into the only lighted area she could fine. The throne room.
Merodi entered but didn't stop, she kept running, seemingly unable to make her feet halt. She barely even saw him, passing by and darting behind the large throne chair. Finding it a rather wonderful place to hide. She was in a crouching position, her hands over her head as she made herself as small as possible. She whimpered and whined. "Oh, how did I get here?"

The vampire never moves or opens his eyes as she ran towards him, and took refuge behind his throne. He remain silent until she finally spoke up, even if she was talking to herself. “Because I brought you here.” His left hand moves up and gently runs his claw over the throne, waiting if this paranoid demon, would catch her eyes on the demon skulls that decorated the throne or if she would hide back there all day.
The pits at each pillar along the throne room suddenly begin to light up in a chronological order. This gave much more lighting in the dark throne, revealing the large onyx statutes over them with their horns of gold. Around his throne was two demon dog statutes standing tall guarding of the throne. Even these demon dog even was detailed in gold.

Merodi was starting to calm in the small enclosed space she had wiggled herself into. Her eyes were closed, and her cheek placed against the cold floor beneath her. It cooled her off from the pumping of blood that drowned out the sounds in her ears, and gave her an extreme headache. "Why...?" she asked, her voice low and a slight drawl could be heard as her energy was once again drained. That hadn't taken long. She curled herself up in a ball, and made herself relax.

“I brought you here so you could rest, or do you think I brought you here so I can feed from you. For I am a vampire, that is not the reason.” He had good intentions and that’s what his words gave to believe but his voice, demonic sounding as it was just seem to go a different direction. His eyes open and looks down the grand room, He couldn’t help but notice that all was well furnish except for the his banners behind the throne was empty as he never made one, since he shredded his brothers.
The black drapes hang down from certain parts of the ceiling to finish off the Gothic room. The Vampire on the other hand look nothing like a King nor Count. He look more to be just a rogue vampire within his goth-like trench.

"Feels like the reason..."Merodi mumbled, slowly waking up as she listened to his voice. It gave her chills...not a very good feeling. She bit her lip, opening her eyes as she slowly moved herself out of the feto position. She squirmed her way from behind the throne and found herself staring into the face of one of the skulls that adorned it. Something only described as a squeak escaped her lips as she crawled quickly away from it.
The deer demon found herself sitting on the floor, finally able to take in the complete throne room, and also finding that she didn't like it. Her shoulder hunched, too tired to cower anymore then she already had. Then her eyes fell on the owner of this gothic, scary place. This was the first moment that she actually looked at him. "Who are you?"

His eyes begins following the demon all in fear before their eyes met, he could see her tension and fear, even smell it. She finally spoke directly towards him where he answer her. “I am Abel Dracul, Count of this county.” He finally climbs to his feet and his long slender body look over towards her. “If I really wished you harm don’t you think I would of done it already, though I do like to inspire fear in my prey, This fear would all be done over your own thoughts.”
He walks over towards her, but does not stop ass he steps beside her as he seem to be walking past her before stopping. “By chance would you be hungry?” His eyes remain straight as he ask, and his face kept its calm peaceful look upon it.

Merodi furrowed her brows, trying to consider his words when trying to convince her she wasn't on the menu. She found herself blushing extremely in emberassment at his words. Over her own thoughts...of course it was all in her head. How humiliating to be so afraid out of something that hasn't happened yet, that doesn't exist at the moment. She nibbled at her lower lip, looking away as she thought over everything.
The deer demon wasn't paying attention to him. Working profusely on nibbling her lip. Soon it was swollen and red but that cared little to her. She jumped when she finally paid attention to the sound of his footsteps that were oh so close. Way too close. She stopped breathing, keeping her head down.
Merodi forced herself to breathe, her ears were pulled back in submission, and only moved when he spoke again. They twitched, and once again forced herself to breathe. "I-I lost my appetite..."
