“Suit yourself.” The vampire begins waking down the black carpet leading to his throne. He already knew this demon would hunger soon, no matter what she was saying now so he plan to fix some food none the less, since he believe that was truly why she was so weak, was the lack of food.
He left the room as a light gust of wind lightly blows through the room. Almost giving like a haunted chill. He fades back into another room, almost like he didn’t care for her, but in truth it was more he was not threaten and was trusting her within his castle.

Merodi went back to abusing her lip, biting down on it and keeping herself on the floor as she watched him leave. She looked around, unsure on what to do with herself. Maybe she should...no, that would be rediculous. Rediculous...Completely!
The deer gnawed on her lower lip even more, looking around nervously before she stood and followed after him. She didn't say anything, just followed. She didn't really know what to say. Should she thank him? Should she start a conversation? "Uh..um.." That's all she was able to get out. Merodi shook her head, deciding on staying quiet.

He turns his attention of the claps of steps behind him before she finally raises her voice to speak and stops. He stops where he stood and turns back towards her. “Yes?” His red eyes softly gazes up into her eyes, as he waits on her to answer, and wondering if she ever would.
His face kept a nice and calm look about him, but at the same time it did not seem to express many emotions. His hand lightly extends out to her landing onto her shoulder more of a comforting way to try to get her to stop trembling.

Merodi froze, staring at him as she tried to regain her voice. She didn't know what she had meant to say now. It had been lost to her as soon as he spoke. With a few more seconds she slowly regained herself, opening her mouth, closing it, then opening it again. "U-um thank you for...for what you did."

“There is no real reason to thank me., I just let you rest.” He steps into a room down the hallway and begins preparing food for her. Going by her appearance he was making her more of a herbal food, more known in the present time as a salad, but it had much more odd fruits and vegetables in it that he had grown within his own garden. He would normally not pick them but he begin to if some would grow to heavy and was threatening to snap a limb.
Before giving her time to come in he had already step out and heads off into another room with the dish sitting it onto a large dining table that could seat 16 people. “I am sure you would enjoy it, just don’t mind if you don’t know what it is, some of the things here grow on the other side of the world or may not grow anywhere anymore.

Merodi followed silently after that, biting her lip and deciding not to say anything else that was unnecessary. That meant saying nothing at all. She looked around the hallways before back at Abel. Who had disapeared. She rushed forward, about to panic when he reappeared. She blinked, looking at the bowl in his hand. Her stomach growled and she followed him, eyeing the food hungrily. Merodi smiled shyly. "Thank you..." she said, sitting down and trying to slowly eat to not be rude.

He nods and moves over on one end of the table taking the head seat and rest in it. His eyes lightly closing as she ate. He says nothing waiting for her to either finish or speak up, as she seem to fear him, and he would not pressure her. A small gust of wind blew in through a window making his black hair sway revealing his pointy ears that stuck out from under it.
His eyes slowly open as the wind lightly held a breeze. They was facing down upon the table with their bright blue glow. They slowly gazes over the area before moving up and locking with hers but even then he said nothing.

Too quiet...way too quiet. Merodi was so nervous she couldn't find herself to say anything. She occupied herself by eating. She enjoyed the food, including the odd fruits he had placed in the bowl. She kept her eyes downward, afraid of meeting his gaze and having to speak. She couldn't help herself after a few minutes. Slowly she glanced up, brown eyes meeting blue and she quickly looked downward, putting more food in her mouth as she tried to ignore him.

He says nothing before his face lightly becomes more serious before climbing to his feet. He lightly bow and spoke with his dark words. “Excuse me.” He begins to walk towards the door as sounds of others came from outside in large numbers. As he left the room the voices could be heard outside that it was human. “Come outside you filthy vampire, you can play innocent all you want but we know know you are also keeping a demon within your castle as well!” One voice broke out as another finishes. “You won’t get away this time. We will kill you both, unless you give up the demon, then we may let you live.” Abel said nothing as the gates to his castle opens as he approaches.
He steps outside and his eyes seem to be close. The humans scream out all wielding weapons. “Did you really think you could hide from hunters for so long? Now give us the demon and we will over look you this time.” Abel lightly chuckles to himself as his broken voice crackle as he spoke. “What ever made you think I was hiding.” His arm extends as a purple orb begins to generate into his arm before taking for into a dark Scythe. “Wretched Mortals, You have no power here.” His scrapes the scythe across the ground as voltage rips through the earth striking towards them.

Merodi's ears twitched and her whole body was tense nervously as she ate, quickening her pace and waiting for something to interrupt her eating. There was always something. She had learned this very early in her life. She was almost done, a leaf in her mouth as the voices started. She could hear them well enough, and found herself shaking. She got up slowly, wanting a better look and hearing. They knew she was here. But what did a deer demon matter to humans? She was as weak as them, even more so! Lacking the instinct to fight back as she did.

The humans ran as other branded weapons and charge towards the vampire. “I do not allow invaders onto my lands.” As he finishes the sentence the vampire faded into air, and slowly all that was within the shadows begin to fall dead, before Abel rose over the leader and his horse with his Scythe bringing the blade of it down and through his chest. The other never seeing his powers quickly begin to ride off in fear that they would be next.

Merodi's body shook in fear as she heard the weapons flying, the impact of metal on flesh and the collapsing of dead bodies. The scent of blood entered her nose and she crouched in a corner, covering her head as she waited it to end. It probably already have but she was too afraid to move after that.

Abel releases the scythe as it fades into the air, leaving all those who would fear and run alive and those he knew would not he laid them to waste. As he turns and begins walking towards the house plants from the garden vines and all seem to grab the bodies and pull them back, and feed off them, as the guardians of the gate was actually the plants. Abel reenter the dining room turning seeing Meordi shaking. “Sorry about that, I had to show our Guest to the door.” He said it as calmly as he could meaning to take the edge off but the darkness of his voice may of made the comment sound even more demented.

Merodi looked up at him nervously. Furrowing her brows, she wasn't sure what he meant. She shuddered, remembering the blood and death of the humans outside. "Why would they be after me?"

“Get use to it… You are a demon, so demon slayers will kill you no matter what you are. Same as me, I remain here in my castle yet, people wish to come here and try to cast me down because of what I am.” He moves and retakes his seat at the head of the table once again. “If I knew they was coming I wouldn’t of went to feed earlier, but then again I found you because I was out feeding.” He looks away towards the celing and says nothing more and gets lost in thought.
