"Feeding...?" she asked warily, walking back toward the table. "What...are you?" she was afraid to get the answer. Very afraid of the answer. But what else could she do? Better to know what she was up against. She couldn't really defend herself against whatever he was. Human or anything more for that matter. She was defenseless and can only trust whatever he said.

“Fear not, Though I am indeed a Vampire, I mean you no harm demon.” He forces a smile and then looks away slowly as he stares off into nothingness. “If you are unfamiliar with vampires, just think of me as a human with powers of a demon lord.” he said quietly as his eyes look back towards her even though his face did not. “Do you plan on finishing your dish?”
He climbs up to his feet, before turning and walking beside her. “Once you are done, I will show you to your quarters.” He said nothing else and begin to leave the room.

Merodi watched him, opening her mouth a lot to answer to things he said but she could not find the courage to speak up. She looked down at her dish, finding that she wasn't feeling good enough to finish. And suddenly he was leaving. She stood up quickly, following after.
"Ah, wait, please--" she stopped herself, her face flushing as she stepped forward slowly after him. She couldn't panic, she shouldn't panic. She had to control herself. She breathed deeply, trying to do so. She kept her gaze downward, emberassed of her outburst as she went to catch up with him.

Abel didn’t slow down any with her outburst as he was moving at a steady pace knowing she would catch up to him. As she was catching up to him he had begin climbing the stairs. He knew that she awoke in the same quarters but during that time she may of paid little attention. He turns walking a pace she would remain behind him with and reaches the door she left from earlier. “You may use these quarters to your liking and don’t worry about letting your guard down her to sleep, nothing can get past these walls.”
He nods to her before stepping into the room. The room was done in silk sheets and fabrics as everything else done in high quality oak, only fit for someone that was from the royal family. Yet none could compare to how he had his room. “I hope you will be comfortable but if not, you can find me in the top floor in my chambers.” He said it not meaning nothing by it other then meaning he help her into a new room or something even though it could have been took in other ways.

Merodi walked quietly and nervously behind him. She frowned and her brows furrowed as she looked down at her feet. She should be able to act differently. He meant her no harm, so it should be fine. She shouldn't be acting like such a fool. She seemed to unsettled. Frowning even more she glanced at his back as he walked. There was only one thing that could calm her down. A good, distracting, wonderful song.
Suddenly bursting into song didn't seem like a good idea. But she took the time to sing a song in her head, to at least calm herself done. And it worked rather well, she tried not to move her lips to the song but her face had relaxed. His voice had a talent to ruin her calm. She stiffened before looking into the room, barely recognizing it as the place she had started out in.
Merodi was sure she could be comfortable in the room, and his sudden statement on what she could do otherwise made her face blush. Wait, what did he mean...? Would he make her comfortable in his...? Oh, how indecent, how horrible, how rude! But she said nothing, staring at him and wondering if he was truly serious, or if she was thinking too direct on the matter. She decided that she didn't want to find out and hopefully she wouldn't. "Th-thank you..."

Abel closes the door behind him as he walks out. Instead of going up the stairway to his room, he went back downstairs and towards the main gate which open as he approaches. Abel steps out into the pale moonlight making his way out onto a fountain within his garden. The fountain had smile vines wrapping around some parts but instead of making it look old and whatnot, it actually made the place look more enchanting.
Abel took a seat upon the fountain before leaning back. His mouth slowly open as song broke from his lips. The song seem to have a decent melody but was in a forgotten tongue, but the most disturbing part was his voice still broken and crackled as he tried to sing. His voice would try and clog where he had to stop a few times and begin again but Once he past the beginning he was able to sing more clearly, without having to stop, but the voice seem to never get any better.

Merodi stared at the closed door, unsure on what to do with herself now that he had left. She turned and looked toward the bed. She moved toward it, sitting down on the side of the bed. She breathed in deeply, not sure that she felt good being confined in such a space. It was better then how it used to be. Sighing she got out of bed, noticing the window she moved toward it, looking out into the garden. She could see him near the fountain. Frowning she watched and listened to him.
Frowning, the deer demon watched him, placing her arms on the window and resting her cheek on her arms. He couldn't sing, that was for sure, but she tried ignore the creepiness in it. Instead she concentrated on the song itself, already it was starting to be absorbed into the back of her mind. Maybe she could resing the song to him sometime, she wondered if that would make him happy.

Abel finally came to an end before getting up and walking out more into the garden, out of sight. He move with grace an almost unnatural touch as he did. The wind out side slightly pick up a breeze as the blood-like mist continue to surround the castle. It seem ominous but at the same time appear to be a barrier for the castle itself.
The sound of metal against the floor onto the same hall of Merodi could be heard. Stopping next to the door of her bedroom, the door slowly pushes open after seemingly listening within the room. A man stood within the door all in black. Even his hair and eyes was black, with large bird like wings behind him. He said nothing as he looks up towards her closing his eyes when he seen she was no threat and closes the door behind him.
“I see Lord Dracul, brought someone new to the castle.” Was all he said as he begins walking over towards the window where she was standing looking out seeing the fountain. “Was you listening to him sing…?” He focuses out the window but never look towards her.

With a new song in Merodi's mind she was much calmer about the situation she was in. She seemed to rehearse the song in her head, going through the language and imagining what kind of instruments would be played with such a song. She stared at the fountain he had been at. Closing her eyes she relaxed against the window. Until she heard the noise. Her eyes widened and her ears pulled back, listening to the metal scraping. She shuddered, slowly moving away from the window as she looked toward the door. She had hoped it would just keep going, farther down the hallway.
Too bad for her it didn't. Merodi watched the door open, and saw the man enter. Fear gripped her for a moment, but then she felt just too drained to really do anything. Slowly she moved away from the window since that seemed his destination. She stayed queit until he asked her a question. She looked away, putting distance between them. "O-oh yes..." she stuttered, looking back at him.

{color=blue]“To imagine that he was once known for his voice. I have heard many stories of a Vampire child that who sung so beautifuly, but died. I now believe that Lord Dracul is that boy and did not die.”[/color] He said nothing as he turn and begin walking back towards the door. “I will let you rest, but do not fear the lord, he is unable to control his voice due to a past injury.”
He opens the door and begins stepping outside as his wings lightly gave a flutter.

Merodi was too nervous to think on what he was saying, she was moving as close to the wall as possible to put distance between them. A sudden stranger entering the room like this, just too scary. She didn't have the nerve to speak normally. She frowned, slowly starting to listen to him instead of worrying. "D-do you think..." she began, stepping forward as he was going to leave. She lost her voice as she blushed in emberassment.
"Do you think that, if I sang his song to him...that I could use it as repayment?" Now that it was out in the open it didn't sound like a good way to repay Abel. Just a little thing to show her gratitude. It seemed rather pathetic now that she said it aloud.

He stops as he looks back in. “I am unsure, on one side he may enjoy it, on the second thought it may just remind him of all he lost. But I do not know the story how he lost his voice, I just have seen the markings upon his neck was made by a sword. But you do not need to repay him, for it his way to help people, no matter how evil he may appear.”
He steps back looking towards her eyes, as he spoke normally but his eyes seem to reflect pure pain and sorrow. He rest his hand onto the hilt of his sword, but did not grip it, just to let it rest. “If you need anything you can find me, I will be happy to serve the guest of my lord.”

Merodi frowned, losing what little hope she had in thanking Abel. She was pretty worthless. The only thing she had was her singing. She had no strength, nothing to make up for anything. She was just...a burden. "Oh..." she breathed out, not even looking at the crow demon as he left. She felt empty and drained again. She hated feeling drained. But that seemed to be happening often.
Sighing Merodi slowly moved toward the bed, humming the song that she had hoped to use for Abel as she pulled away the covers and got in. There was nothing more for her to do. She would just have to leave as soon as possible tomorrow. If she can't even show her gratitude, it was best she disapeared before being too much of a burdern.

The raven made his way outside, following along the path Abel took earlier. Once he found him Abel was leaning down examining a broken limp but slowly begins to stand back up upon hearing Korax. Without warning Korax charges towards him drawing his blade, Slashing once over Abel’s back, but he was able to dodge it easily, stepping to the side now facing towards Korax. The raven then brought his blade down striking from above hard towards him as Abel reaches his hand up grasping onto the blade stopping it.
“How can you hope to defeat something with so much battle exp if you cannot be spontaneous enough. Every plan you make your body tells me before it is actually done.” Korax gave a deep sound as he pulls his blade away as he charges into a jab but at last min rotates his body brining the sword towards Abel’s side. Yet Abel once again stops it. This time deflecting the blade by using his left hand to punch the side of the blade making it drop towards the ground but not leaving Korax’s hands. Abel took the rest of the room stepping back and kicking Korax’s chest making him fly across the garden.
Korax climbs back to his feet, as he begin thinking out loud. “This is impossible, how can he block all my attacks with such ease, and without even drawing his own blade.” As he stood up tall his eyes widen stumbling back as Abel stood before him, as he made no sound on his approach. That was well at mixing it up but was not what I meant, You need to stop thinking of what your going to do, and Just act. Until you can people that has been alive as long as I have and have fought their whole lives can read you.”

Merodi had woken up rather early as she had hoped to do. Her stomach was hurting in her
anxiety on what she planned to do. She couldn't stay here any longer. She slowly got out of bed, trying to make as little noise as possible. She moved quietly, opening the door to her room as she exited. The sun had yet to come out and she had to be very cautious. She didn't want to get caught, she didn't know what she would say.
Merodi worked hard to not breathe hard, working down the dark hallways and down the stairs. She had to make it outside, into the forest, and go as fast as she could far away from here. She just couldn't be a burden anymore. She had no way to thank him.
