{=.=;} " She winked, meaning she wasn't going to hurt her in anyway, she had no reason to hurt the Priestess as it is. Luna turned to Kel and tilted her head, " Whats wrong kitten, afriad of the me? I'm only a dog..." She smiled innocently, snickering behind closed lips, her hair whipped against her back in the sudden wind that came by as she flexed her claws lightly. She should of expected this...[/ul]

Motoko shrugged, as she followed Luna's advice and stepped back a few more yards. "Perhaps interesting wasn't the right word. I just mean that I believe that this will be a much better fight. And..." Her eyes glistened with excitement. "I want to see whether or not she can hold her own against him. The only person I've seen do that in the past is you, Kye."
She stepped back some more, her eyes not moving from the demoness. Yes, she was curious about her. But could anyone blame her? Motoko had surrendered in a fight against the demoness because she had determined that she would be unable to defeat someone of her speed. Perhaps she had been mistaken, but that was only a slim possibility. And... the swordswoman had seen Luna attack those demons before, and the sheer power used had been awe-inspiring.
{{Sorry for the bad reply, I'm not really in a roleplaying mood right now.... Lol plus I used all my brain cells earlier. >.>}}

(It happens. I'm used to others as well as myself not being in the mood. It's all good. Plus, it seemed fine to me. ^_^)
Kye laughed.
"Indeed? You know, that is one of the single most things that has always surprised me. That i've almost always been able to hold my own against Kel. Statistic-wise, we're roughly equal in power. Though, there are several unique differences, as well. He, for one, has no problem reading my mind" Kye explained. "Though it's much harder for me to read his. A fact entirely due to his dark-type powers have a type advantage over my psychic-based ones. In fact, my spiritual powers, save a minute few, are completely ineffective against him. Though, I find I am able to heal much faster then Kel. Which, I imagine is due to the fact that healing-type moves are nearly all psychic in nature." He elaborated. "But, though we each know all of this, as well as each others favorite moves, i still best him 2 out of 3 times."
"Keep talking Kye, and i'll fix that 'statistic' right after this." Kel called out, before turning his attention back to the battle at hand.
"Scared, Fido?" Kel questioned. "Not quite. There are very few things that might actually scare me, and a fight with a demonic mutt, alluring or otherwise, is far from the top of that list. I'm just getting warmed up." He finished, already planning his next move.

" She removed her bow from her back, much more slowly this time for Motoko's sake, and removed an arrow from her back as well, she notched the arrow and aimed it at Kel. " So, lets see how the darkness kitten likes a bit of light, eh?" She smiled, in her mind, just a test, power gathered up inside her and to the tip of the arrow, causing it to light up as she aimed to his chest, she knew he would deflect it, but how well? Releasing the arrow, it gave a loud whoosh sound and lit up the feild in the dark of the night, firing like a bullet as white sparkles fell to the ground behind the arrow. Luna watched closely, her hand on her sword to make sure he didn't attack. She would not go full out just yet, simple little tests to see what Kel's weaknesses were, and to use that against him during this fight.[/ul]

Motoko stayed silent after Kye's speech, not wanting him to know that he had lost her after the mind-reading part. She may be trying to apply to Tokyo University, but that didn't mean that she understood all of the complexities that were the inner-workings of the two guardians. She barely understood more than that Kel was a dark type, while Kye was a psychic one. It was just too complicated.
Smirking slightly she watched as Luna released an arrow toward Kel. A hasty move, in her opinion. Although maybe the demoness was just testing his reflexes. Motoko crossed her arms over her chest as she waited to see what the dark guardian's first move would be.

Kel stared at the arrow flying steadily toward him. When it was about a foot away, his eyes flashed, and a large, hand-shaped thing, made out of dark aura, appeared. It quickly grabbed the arrow around the shaft.
"You should be careful with those." Kel commented. "Someone could have gotten hurt."
He willed his aura palm to send the arrow back towards Luna, but didn't wait to see if she dodged it or not.
"I suppose it's about time I went on the attack. Else this duel will be very one-sided and will surely bore our spectators." Kel decided.
He smirked again as he held out one of his actual hands, his fingers spread wide for everyone to see, to the side. After a second of concentratin, his fingertips started glowing black with his power. He closed his hand and a fist-full of sharp-looking black daggers appeared in it. Then, they disappeared and reappeared, multiplied to 30, spiraling in circles around his form.
"Shadow Daggers."
He waved his hand and his weapons launched themselves at Luna.
"In the essence of fairness, i'll tell you how this attack works." Kel called out, while watching out for any surprises from Luna. "These knives will follow you until you destroy them or they hit you. Plus, they will only harm you, no matter who else might get in the way."
Kye raised an eyebrow at the technique, before turning back towards Motoko. That attack was strong, but had a pretty powerful weakness. He wondered what Kel was up to.
"Hmm. For some reason, I get the feeling that I lost you along the way. Shall I back up and try again?" Kye asked the Samurai.
