" A blast of blood red killed off most of the demons, the rest flew towards her ready for her death; She slashed again and destroyed the rest, luckly the feild was still intact, the demons...were basically nothing... She looked around and sheathed her sword, falling to her knees as she gasped and sighed; she prayed softly and looked up. Her black eyes like an abyss as she sensed someone...someone close...Her head turned towards the source as she narrowed her black eyes and waited. Her black locks tattered a little from running through the near by forest.[/ul]

Aoyama Motoko, successor to the Aoyama style of fighting, stood still. Her body was slightly tilted forward, her hand resting on a wooden sword that was jammed lightly into the ground next to her. Although her attacks could do more damage with a real sword, she preferred the wood katana, since she could also do less damage as well. Which was perfect, since she so often found herself in situations where she did not want to kill, but did want to maim someone. Usually a man.
She had watched the battle between the unknown demoness and the horde of demons, unimpressed at first. But as the battle progressed, her impression changed dramatically. The demon woman was good, she decided. Good enough to be able to defeat those ghouls in only two blows. She would be a worthy opponent, that was for sure.
Picking her sword up she took a step forward to bring herself a bit closer to the demon, hopefully out of range just enough so that she would be able to dodge an attack, should one be leashed. "You fought well," she commented, her dark eyes glittering. "You seem quite powerful."

Kye Guard, Psychic Guardian Angel and twin to Dark Prince, Kel Guard, were currently in their cat forms, racing though the trees. There was so much demonic activity in this timeline and era and it was hard to keep up with all. But, it was thier job to protect the innocent, pure, and such in this region and they would do so to the best of his abilities.
Kye's front claws were a bit bloody. He'd just been in a fight with a minor demon, who foolishly and mistakenly thought that smaller meant, easier to kill. The demon was pure evil so Kuro, as he was usually called in this form, held nothing back in the fight that only lasted a full minutes. But, he'd no time to clean himself as he'd felt another and larger surge of demonic energy up ahead.
He reached the edge of the forest and stopped. All the demons he'd sensed were already dead. Though, he wasn't sure if the one who looked like a warrior had done it or the one who looked like a priestess. He found himself staring at the priestess. Why did she look so familiar? Had he seen her before. Regardless, she was stunning and his eyes bored a hole in her neck as she spoke to the other. Kel, meanwhile, was staring at the other, with equal intensity.

" She suddenly noticed two men running up from behind her and she released her sword, a bow appeared in her hands so quickly it seemed to be magic, a arrow notched on the string as she narrowed her eyes. She may of been weakened by the horde but she would not easily be attacked if they ment harm. She noted that one, who seemed more pure...was staring at the girl, she smirked and lossened the botch, placing her arrow back as she sniffled and sighed deeply. " Seems you have a fan Miss...." The woman smirked.[/ul]

Motoko was surprised to say the least to see a bow somehow materialize itself in the demon's hand. How strange... What sort of power was this? She had seen nothing like it before in her life, and she had seen quite a few strange things. Living at the Hinata Sou had that benefit. If benefit was even the correct word for it.
"A...fan?" she repeated, puzzled. What did the demon woman mean? The swordswoman turned, following her gaze, and gasped. It wasn't possible... was it? What were they doing here? She recognized the two men, despite the distance, almost immediately. "Kye?" she blurted, not thinking.
But this was the past! There should have been no way for either Kye or Kel to be here. Then again, she could say the same about herself. Five hundred years, give or take a year... It was a thing from a fairy tale. And yet it was real. As the case seemed to be with the men.

Kel, still in his Ivory Cat form, turned to his brother.
"Kye....isn't that Motoko over there."
Kye slowly shook his head, his brainwaves currently misfiring, due to shock.
"It seems it is. She definitely seems to know me. But, how?! She should be back at the Hinata-Sou, hundreds of years into the future! I have no idea how she got here or why!"
Kel frowned at his twins words. "Hmm. That is a mystery. You don't think Celebi...."
But, Kye just shook his head. "Why would the Guardian of The Forest do something like this and not inform us? Especially after bringing us here. I sense something more serious at work."
Kye and Kel teleported over to Motoko's side. Kel kept staring at the demoness, while Kye addressed Motoko.
"Motoko.....how?"

How? What a funny question. She had been asking herself that same one for over a week now, and yet still had no answer. Motoko shrugged noncommittally, glancing out of the corner of her eye at the female demon, who seemed to be strangely weak. Perhaps her first assumption had been correct after all, and the demoness was not as powerful as she seemed. Though the swordswoman could understand that two blasts of energy as powerful as though might make one weak.
"I don't know..." The only thing the woman could do was explain about how her sister called her and told her to go to that shrine to handle a spirit. But, to her embarrassment, she had been unable to defeat the spirit, and it had knocked her unconscious.
Motoko told this to him, nervously, ashamed of her own failure. "And then I woke up here. I'm not sure how it happened... but it did." She gave him a hopeful look. "Do you know how to return to our time? This one is so..." She paused, trying to think of the proper word. "...demonized," she finished after a beat.

Kye merely shook his head.
"That is an awful story. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Alas, it is impossible to go back. Kel and I arrived here by way of Celebi, a Legendary, Time-Traveling Pokemon. It brought us to this era to help counter-act the insane level of demonic activity that has risen up in, apparently, the past 3 years. But, it won't come back for us until 2 years from now."
"Two years," Kel agreed, turning back to look at the two. "That was all the time granted to us by the High Council to make a difference. Though, I highly doubt it'll take two months. But, while you are here, Lady Motoko, you have our protection, so fret not. You know full well Kye would never let something happen to you."
Kye's cat form blushed, as he adverted his eyes.
"Btw, might I ask who you're demonic friend is?" Kel said, turning back to the mysterious female, with a smirk.

" She snickered lightly, " Now now, Kel isn't it? I believe Kye could be a bit...flexible and allow one small practice fight with me, correct?" She looked at the other cat now, walking over calmly as she leaned against the tree, crossing her legs and arms, and looking between the cat and the woman. She could easily tell they had a small thing for each other, she smirked lightly, crushes and such were cute truthfully. She looked down and Kel and moved her head so that her pig tail that was once in her face drapped over her shoulder. " Names Luna.." She bowed her head.[/ul]

Pokemon... did he truly say Pokemon? She had thought that they were but a myth. But then, she had believed many things to be false, and had then been proven wrong in the past. Who was she to question the existence of a Pokemon? Besides... something had to explain their presence here... and if not Celebi, than what else? And two years... she grimaced. Two years in this place would certainly be trying...
Flushed with embarrassment from Kel's words Motoko stared in wonder at Luna as she basically declared a challenge to the guardian. Not even she herself was that brave. She was sure of her skills, or at least sure enough, but not sure enough to fight a guardian. And besides, there was no way she would fight either of these two. They just meant too much to her to fight. "I am not afraid," she murmured, part to herself, part to the others, and part in response to the guardian's words.
She turned her full attention back to the demoness and coughed lightly. This did not bode well, should the two collide in battle. "You... might not want to 'practice' with Kye..." Her dark eyes slid to her lover than returned to Luna. Her eyes scrutinized her carefully, the way one warrior surveyed the skills of another. "You don't seem to be at full strength... and I would think you would need to be."

"'Little kittens' can do a lot of surprising things." Kel stated, still smirking. "Not all of them friendly. Indeed, I am called Kel and my twin over there is Kye."
Kel glanced over at the medium-sized, black cat, on the opposite side of the sexy, Priestess/ Samurai. He was judging his brothers reaction to the Demoness, Luna's, statement. Kye's cat form raised arched an eyebrow, but didn't say anything.
"I doubt Kye would mind a 'practice battle', though i'm not sure who you're asking to fight. And, I already know whom i'd bet on, no real offense. Both my sibling and his mate can take care of themselves and have done so on several occasions. So best of luck to you."
Kye chuckled at his brother's choice of words, as both he and Kel started glowing with an ethereal light: Black for Kye and White for Kel. A moment later the cats had vanished, to be replaced by two men, appearing around 24 or so by human standards, standing nonchalantly on either side of the Asian woman from the future.
Kel walked off to the sidelines so he could enjoy what he trusted would be an interesting show. His dark bangs were blowing gently in the breeze, which was making his ebony-colored clothing ripple, and he leaned back against the trunk of a tree, his dark eyes scanning the warriors, casually. Kye stood off a little ways from Motoko, both giving her space and being within reach if he was needed at all.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Lady Luna." Kye greeted her, his hair swaying in the wind, which was ruffling his light-purple attire. "I trust that, after this supposed sparring session, you might be wiling to offer some information to my brother and I? Though, in my personal opinion, i'm not sure you are in the best condition for another fight, friendly or otherwise."

{XDD} " She smiled, pointing towards the Priestess, " She's the one who asked for the fight, if my memory serves right." Suddenly the cats turned into men, Luna looked over at Kel and glanced away, blushing lightly as she pushed off the tree. An amused look in her eyes as she contiuned to smile, " Maybe if I have enough patience after the Priestess practice fights with me, I'll be honored of course, Kye..." She nodded to him, then looked at Kel again, he was...extremely handsome, least to say..Heh. Her black abyss eyes hit the light in a certain way, and it seemed as if her eyes were red as night, she pulled her hair out of the pigtails and let it flow down her back, ending at the edge of her arse. Running a claw'd hand through her hair she looked at the priestess and gave an blunt chuckle. " And I'll remember that demonic comment you made about this time, my Dear.." [/ul]

Motoko stared at Luna, eyes wide, startled. The demoness had been talking about her? But... what did she mean? The swordswoman didn't recall challenging her to a fight... she had thought that it would be interesting, perhaps, but... had she said something aloud? She didn't remember doing so, but... perhaps she inadvertently had.
"If it is truly me you wish to fight, your wish will be granted," she commented coolly, her face tilted upward slightly. She still held her wooden katana in her right hand, never having released it from before. She wasn't sure what help it would do in a battle against a true demon of power, but... She glanced down at it. The sword had helped her many a time in the past; it had never once failed her. She would once more put her faith in it.
Crossing her arms over her chest Motoko surveyed the demoness silently for a beat. Although she did not seem to be at full power, that didn't mean that she could let her guard down. She took a few steps away from the others, lowering her arms to her sides. Turning swiftly she set her face into an indifferent mask. "What do you say?"

Kye had thought that Luna had been talking about Motoko. After all, he remembered that when he and Kel had first appeared in the trees, on the forest's edge, Motoko had been complementing Luna on her skills. Which, to a warrior, is almost the same as a direct challenge.
He wasn't worried.
He'd seen Motoko fight on several occasions and knew she'd be fine. Not that anyone was getting killed around here, on his watch. But, that was all normal, guardian behavior, right? Nothing overprotective about that sort of mind set, no?
Kel let out a chuckle, just then.
Kye frowned. He'd forgotten that, while his twin wasn't a psychic-type Guardian, he could still read minds. No doubt that chuckle just now was at his expense. But, no matter. His brother was always like that.
"I'd be up for that, if you were 'patient' enough. I expect this to be nice and clean."
Kel, meanwhile, was watching Luna. He could have been imagining it, but he was nearly certain that she'd been checking him out. Not that he'd front, he was checking her out as well. She was quite...alluring. He couldn't have told you why, doped up on truth serums, but she'd definitely caught his eye.
"Clean, Kye? A demoness versus a Priestess? I don't think that term applies." Kel stated, shaking his head.
