Ash was nearly asleep on his back, him falling asleep while looking up at the stars. He was woken up when Meitsu quickly sat up. Ash himself sat up slowly, letting the girl calm down a little. She must have been having a bad dream to sit up that fast and have a light sweat going on.
Take it easy and relax. You fainted before I left.
((ugh, i cant think of anything. Brain fart. Sorry.)) [/sub]

Meitsu look around quickly then sighed a breath of releife when she realized who was talking. She had been slightly afraid someone kidnapped her. Which would have been bad. Her insain uncle would have been the one to do that. And then she would have tried to run away and... It would have been bad.
She remembered talking to him and getting to take a bath. Meitsu noticed how her wraps where still off. She was lucky that she didn't get in a fight now. She remembers falling over and then nods, understanding. Heust have helped her. She smiles slightly.
"T-thank you for helping me. And...eh... Here's you shirt and sashy thing." She hands him his stuff, thankful he had helped her. It was really kind. "Let me make some food to thank you."

Don't worry about it. Relax and let me make some food. I need to get some first, though. You can repay me at a different time if your that set on it.
Ash smiled and put his tunic on, but hung his sash on a tree branch, just in case she needed to lay down again. Ash stood, bowed slightly, and seemed to fly away. He was just moving really fast in the trees. With minutes, he reached a stream. Without hesitation, he tossed his shirt to the ground and dove in. He was under for about five minutes before he rose to the surface again, fish held in his arms.
He grabbed his tunic and took off back to the campsite. Time seemed to move faster for he was heading back and was more familiar with the way back. He landed in a small gust of wind, and set all but one fish on the ground. He grabbed a stick, stuck it in the fish, and handed it to Meitsu. The funny thing was that it was fully cooked by the time Ash grabbed the stick. The other fish were still uncooked.
Eat up. [/b][/sub]

Meitsu blinked. This was odd. No one ever took care of her like this. Usually it was the other way around. She usually took care of others and worried about them. Protected them from her daranged uncle and tried to keep them as safe as possible. But thatwas pretty hard sometimes. And in other cases some people she met tried to kill her. She didn't get why it wasn't the case her. He was a fire demon and she was a water demon. So why didn't he want to kill her?
"T-thank you." She says as she grabs the fish from him. She bites into it tenderly, not sure if it would be hot or gross. She smiles happily. It was really good! She started eating more of it. "Yummy."

Help yourself, there's plenty of food.
Ash just picked up a fish and bit into it without even using a stick. The fish, though cooked very quickly was tender and still had all the juices, keeping the flavor while giving it an unusual taste. Ash crisped it with fire, but did the cooking with lightning so as to keep the meat tender and moist. It was steam coming from the fish, not smoke as most people would think.
Ash set the bare skeleton of the fish on the ground next to his leg and cooked two other fish for Meitsu, and let the fish get a nice smokey flavor as they hung over the fire on the sticks that they were now on. Ash leaned back and ate his next fish slower. He made a long and slender bolt of blue lightning into the shape of a dragon, and had it fly over their heads. Though it was bright, it didn't hurt anyone's eyes. It was a little display to keep Ash entertained. He usually kept his powers in top condition by doing unusual thinks like this, and making the glass bird. [/sub]

Meitsu ate a second fish. She found it very good and very filling. She hadn't eaten in a few days so it was nice for her to have something really good to eat. It didn't take to long for her to finish it off, full now. She smiles
When she sees him do the thing with the lightening she looks up. Meitsu smiles and wtaches it. The lightening was really pretty. She was suprised it didn't scare her. Usually anything hot had a tendancy to do so. Unless, of course, it was hot water or steam. "Pretty." She says simply.

Ash had the lightning dragon fly way up into the air, then had it dive into the fire. Ash let it go in a wave of heat-less energy, more or less a bright wind, if that was possible. He sighed and leaned back on an elbow, using his other hand to finish off his fish. He had his eyes closed, as if concentrating on something.
Its nothing.
It may look 'pretty,' but it was far from it. That was just a highly concentrated form of a lightning strike, and if someone was to touch it and Ash wasn't ready for it, it would have fired someone with little effort.
I wouldn't wanna touch it unless it touched you.. [/sub]

Meitsu blinked. She wondered how dangerous the thing could be.To water demon, probably really bad. It'd more then likly fry her to peices. She nods, understanding slightly why he would say that.
"It's dangerous..." She says, stating the obvious. Meitsu was really good at that. She closes her eyes, finding it easy to relax right now. Relaxing wasn't always something she was good at. Espically in the presence of a fire demon.
Meitsu didn't really feel threatened by him. She wasn't sure why, but she really enjoyed it. For once someone wasn't trying to kill her. And that was something she definitly was not used to. Although she could easily get used to it.

That's one way to put it.
Ash sighed as he finished off his fish. He crushed the skeleton and set it on fire, turning it to Ash in seconds. He seemed a little strained, but that was just how he held his body. His face was still fine. He rolled one shoulder before standing up.
Ash removed his tunic and quietly stepped into the hot springs. His body was slightly sore, and the water felt good. He sat against a rock, crossing his arms and closing his eyes. His body was mostly facing Meitsu, but not directly. [/sub]

metisu smiles and then curls up, finding that she was still tired. She lies down on her side. The moon seemed really pretty tonight. It was full and really bright. Even if it wasn't though, Meitsumi would be able to see perfectly in the night. Even though she was a water demon, she had night vision.
After a while Meitsu ended up falling sound asleep again. It wasn't to hard to do when she felt relaxed. And, for once, safe. Meitsu actually felt like she could sleep for once without a demon trying to kill her in her sleep. And that was a nice thing.

After maybe a half hour of soaking in the springs, Ash finally got out, his body steaming as he rid himself of the water. He glanced at Meitsu, and noticed that she was asleep. This brought a smile to his face.
Ash picked up his tunic, dusted it off real fast, and put it over the sleeping girl. It was starting to cool down in the darkness. It didn't bother Ash, though, because no matter how hot or cold it was, Ash's body was always the same temperature.
Sleep well.
Ash sits at the base of a tree near Meitsu settling in for the night. He let his ind drift free and be aware as his body rested. It was a sort of waking sleep, and it worked out so that Ash was aware of everything around him as he slept. [/sub]

Meitsu smiles in her sleep and rolls over, in a good mood. For once she wasn't having a nightmare, but a good happy and peacefull dream instead. She enjoyed the sudden change, even if it was only for this night.
It was a dream about her more happy memories. Times with her family. Picnicing, laughing, buying new clothes and making new clothes. Visting with the village and having festiviles. Pretty much every good memory. But the villages good times where ruined because of her...

After a while, Ash woke up from his dream. It was about floating in and endless sea, before falling under the surface. He could see blotted shaped humanoid figures trying to get to him, and no matter how hard he tried, or how far they reached, he kept slipping away. It was disturbing for him.
Ash wiped the thin film of sweat from his face, and splashed himself with water. He sighed and looked up at the sky, only to find out it was still hours from dawn. He sat across from Meitsu and the dieing fire, trying to sooth his struck mind. [/sub]

Meitsu rolled over again in her sleep. It wasn't to long before the rising sun had her up and waking. She yawns and rubs her eyes, trying to clear them from their drozyness. After a while she sits up properly. Then blinks. Meitsumi really hated mornings. She was a night person by far.
The sun was just begining to rise, so lucky for her it didn't blind her. Metisu quickly relaized the man from yestarday was still here. What was his name... Ash? She smiles. "Morning Ash-sama." She says, tiredly.

Ash stirred slightly and opened his eyes. He realized that he fell asleep, and had been that way through the night. It took him half a second to get his bearings on where he was at, and what happened, and to who he was with. He smiled slightly at the girl across the dieing embers of the fire.
Morning. Feeling better today?
He was curious how her wounds felt, and if Meitsu got enough sleep. It seemed, to Ash, that she slept well, and she did look better. Maybe it was because she had someone watching to make sure nothing attacked her in her sleep, so she could have a good nights sleep. [/sub]
