Meitsumi smiles widely as she approaches the hot springs. She sniffed the air, being able to smell it first, before she approached being able to see it. The water seemed so inviting as she approached, espically with her large wounds. She had several gashing cuts on her arms, legs and back. A fire demon had targeted her recently, but she managed to take him down. The demon was weak. A class two at best. Even though she faced her greatest weakness, she beat him easily.
The fight hadn't been to easy. Her apponent had got in several bad and deep blows. Meitsu somehow managed to make it all this way without sewing up her wounds. She had told herself she would do that when she got to the hot springs nearby. Hot springs, being as they where water, always made it easier for her to heal. If anyone ever tired to pick a fight with her here, she'd win.
When Meitsu slides into the wonderful water, she turns around and grabs the stuff needed to patch herself up. She makes herself comfy as she goes to work on her arms. They're where only a few wounds that she needed to patch up using this method, the water would heal everything else. As she finishes up the final stitch on her last fatal wound, she ties it off and then puts the stuff away before sinking slightly in the water to relax.
As she relaxes, the water turns a beautiful blue color. It was the sign of the fact that there was a powerfull water demon there. And the water demon was her. She closes her eyes for nearly half a second before she hears a rustleling in the trees behind her. Meitsu quickly swims to a rock to cover her self before she calls out to the rusteling.
"Who's there?" She asks, attempting to add a little bit of charm as well as fear in her voice. Everything was so much better when her eneimes mistook her and thought she was weak.
Most demons she ever came across veiwed her as small and weak since she was actually attractive. Some of the demons tried to help her because of that and then other demons tried to kill her. The demons who tried to kill her thought, until they faught her, that she was a disgrace to all demons. Of crouse half way through the fight they always ended up realizing they where dead. And the fights resault was either near death or death for her oppenent. She felt sorry for them sometimes- but that sometimes was very rare.

Two demons stalked around in the darkness, one across the pool from the other. For now, both were on the ground. The demon's minds were linked with each other, so the brothers were able to coordinate their attacks. It would have been effective if one watched for an attack while the other did the attacking for the pray.
A third demon stalked one of the brothers. He extended a hidden blade from his right forearm as he walked closer to the demon. For three days, Ash stalked these demons, killing off their friends, and only receiving mild injuries, besides a large gash in his left arm, forcing him to slow down a bit, until now.
The demon he was behind jumped into a tree. Ash jumped as well, stabbing the demon in the back of his neck, and then he removed his head with his chain-bones from his left arm. The demon fell in pieces and Ash landed on the tree branch. His heavy weight caused it to creak and rustle. It looked as if he scared the young woman relaxing in the hot springs just ahead of him. Luckily, he was hidden from her sight.
When she spoke to Ash's general direction, the second demon jumped out to attack the girl. Ash was faster than the demon. The demon was closer to the girl and jumped first, but Ash boosted himself with a small burst of lightning, changing the air pressure for a boost. He collided with the other demon above the girl, and the flew back across to the bank where the demon attacked from.
Ash had his chains around the demon, and sliced him into pieces, and then he sent the pieces flying with a explosive change in the air pressure. His chain-bones went back into both his forearms and he turned to the girl on the rock. He looked quickly away, noticing that she was trying to hide herself.
Sorry about the intrusion...
His left arm started to leak blood, showing his demon scent, well, half demon. His clothes masked his scent, allowing him to hide as a human, and make demons think him as one. That was why this group tried to kill him, but failed. [/sub]

Meitsu made sure she was clearly hidden behind the rock and all that he could see was her head. She had absolutely no idea what was going on, but she didn't seem nervous. She had gotten slightly afraid when the one demon attacked her out of the blue, but that was all for show. It always took more then that to get her scared.
Being revealed like this made Mistime feels slightly embarrassed and awkward, even though she was slightly hidden behind the rock. The guy standing on the other side of the springs was a complete stranger to her, so it was awkward. Then again, everyone she meet would be a stranger, since she made it that way. By traveling in the mountains like she did, very few people knew her. It was best that way- not many people turned up dead because of her.
Meitsu turned the water into a darkish looking steam then used it to cover herself. She steps out like this, completely hidden from the other man's eyes, and grabs her clothes. Turning to him, she smiles. "Do you mind?" She asks, wanting him to turn around while she dressed quickly. Meitsu thought it awkward to dress in front of others.
She noticed his wound and then nudged the little box she had used on herself earlier with her foot. "I can help." Meitsu didn't talk much at all. Most of the time she stuck to one word sentences. She only used more then that when it was necessary. She found talking could be very awkward, at least for her it was. It was sad, but she got awkward sort of easily.

Ash tried to avoid contact with the water demon as she covered herself with darrk steam, climbed out of the hot springs, and went to her clothes. He nodded slightly and fully turned around, looking to the ground. While she was dressing, he sealed his wound with a small burst of fire, cutting off the bleeding and sterilizing it from what could have gotten in during his hunting. He turned around when the girl spoke to him again. This time she was fully dressed.
Its fine. It'll heal quickly.
Ash sat down at the base of a tree, ripped off a long strip of cloth from his left sleeve, and covered the wound with it. [/sub]

She nods, still wishing to help him. Oh well. It was his choice. she was a good healer so it would have been perefectly fine after a while. Water demons specailized in the healing area. Quick and easy for them. They hardly ever got drained from it either.
She sat down as she tied her foot wraps and then stood up, wrapping her wrists. She usually dressed this way for her fights. She also wore her dress torn in several areas. The bottem was a disaster, but it actually made the dress look pretty cool. She loved it.
She pulls her choker on and then ties her hair back, finding it easier to wear her hair back. Espically since today was windy. She walks over to the guy and waves. "Bye." She says simply, heading back into the forest. Meitsumi prefured to keep her socailizing to a very small minimum. It was easier for her that way
Meitsu didn't ereally have any general place to head to, she just picked a direction and went that way, hoping a town wouldn't be far off. Towns where generally close together, so she could easily get what she wanted. Not thatshe could really aford much anyway. Whenever she went to a town, she usually just bought food.
Realizing she had left one of her most important things their, she sighs and turns around. after a little bit she is back at the hot spring, frowning. She didn't expect him to still be there. She blinks, "Eh... Have you seen a small knife? It had some emeralds on it's handle..."

Later]
Ash tossed a hand to the leaving girl, only glancing at her before looking up at the sky. There was no real need to talk to the girl as she left. She was making her own path in life, and Ash didn't want to help write it for her by talking her into staying.
After a minute, he rose and washed the blood off his body in the hot springs. He had his shirt off now, washing it thoroughly, up until the girl walked back to the hot springs. Ash was the first one to talk.
Welcome back, Miss Aqua. Sorry, let me help you look for it.
Ash walked out of hot spring, hanging up his white tunic on a branch over his armor that were normally on his arms. His muscles were well defined. His only scar was one across his right arm, going all the war around his bicep. He jumped way up into the air, looking down upon the hot spring, looking for a glint.
As he started to fall, he caught a glint, and let himself fall that way. When he landed, right into the water, it forced up the dagger, and he caught the blade part of it. It didn't cut his skin. He jumped out and handed it to the girl.
Here. I'm Ash.
He introduced himself politely, bending down. He was much taller than she was, and that just made him seem smaller. One could smell his dragon scent tainted with his fire and lightning elemental power. It was odd, but also smooth and entrancing, but not overwhelmingly so. [/sub]

She frowns at the Miss Aqua comment. No one had ever called her that before. Then again, she didn't exactly let it off that she was a water demon. If he hadn't of seen her in the water he probably wouldn't of known that she was a demon. She appered perfectly normal when she wanted to. She closes her eyes and lets the glamor off, revealing her violet hair and matching eyes.
She frowned at the smell of him and took a small step back. He smelled of fire and that scared her. She could barely stand a chance against fire attacks if they where strong enough. They could really take a tole on her.
Meitsu hated the fact that she was so short. Espically compared to him. It made her feel inferery a lot of the times. That and it was a horrible disadvantage whenever she was fighting. If demons took to the air she was at a bad disadvange. And most demons did that when they fought her, knowing she was lacking in that depeartment. But her jumps did make up for that.
"I'm Meitsumi Nakurmori, not Miss Aqua." She says slightly, she sounded like a small child and had to hold back a smile at how well she pulled it off. She bows respectfully. Which, in turn, made her appear even smaller until she straightened up properly.
Her thumb unconciously rubs the handle of the knife. It had really great sentimental value to her. It used to be her mother's. Actually, the knife was in the end used to help that horrible thing that called himself human, kill her family. The only reason she kept it with her was to remind herself that she was avanging her family, otherwise she probably would have just left it their and kept going.

Sorry, Meitsumi. I wanted to get a smile out of you, but I didn't get it.
Ash stood up strait and stepped back, but not before taking a whiff of the girl. He held her scent in him as he obtained what he could from her. She was young, but not like a kid, which was what she was trying to come out as. He was also right by calling her Miss Aqua, because she reeked of water demon, which was what he made her out to be during their first encounter. It was also easy to determine the reason behind her fingering her knife.
You don't look much like a killer, but many things change a person. So, who are you planing on killing?
By her stature, and the way she backed away from Ash from her scent could have told many things, but he couldn't come to a quick conclusion. He sat at the base of a tree and waited for Meitsumi to speak. Hopefully more than a sentence. [/sub]

Meitsu frowns. He probably would react good to the answer, and it wasn't something she gave out freely either. She hated this topic. It was akward and always brought up painful memories. She closes her eyes tightly as she unwillingly remembered her parents.
She bites her lip as the memories flash through her brain. The site of others. The village. Everyone she cared about. Meitsu swallows and opens her eyes again. She forces herself to smile. Meitsu didn't want to get all depressed like on the stranger. He seemed like an okay person. And she'd hate to drag him into this.
"I dont think you'd be interested in that subject." She says simply. That and she didn't want to talk about that stuff anymore. It was to depressing for her. Even after all this time.
Meitsu tried to keep a postive attitude alot. She could be a downer sometimes. Espically on this topic. She noticed how it was started to get darker. Must be getting late... Meitsu loved the nighttime. It was always calm and relaxing for her. But it did have it's tole on her. Since that was when evceryone was murderod it was hard for her at night also.

If you say so.
Ash leaned forward, grabbing a handful of dirt and sand from where he was sitting, and started molding it into glass with fire. It never burned his skin, and after a couple of minutes, Ash rose and dunked the glass piece into the water. When it was cool, Ash removed it and held it up into the air.
Ash smiled at his work, though it wasn't the best. It was a simple, small Bird that was lit from the inside with a small amount of blue lightning. Ash set it on a tree branch before he jumped onto the rock Meitsu was clinging to before. He looked down into the water, lost in his mind.
Its starting to get dark... Seems like the sun just came up... [/sub]

What he did his hand scared her, a lot. He seemed like a powerful demon. If they got in a fight and she servived, she'd get badly hurt. Meitsu couldn't afford to many more injeries for a while. She had had enough enjuires lately to last her a few moths.
Meitsu smiles slighty, putting her hand behind her head. "Eh... I-i should be going." Again she made herself sound weak and small. She loved how she could do that really easily. She bows. "Hajimimashite." She says polightly.
She turns to leave, double checking she had everything. She wished that she had more time at the hot srpings but with the fire demon around, and being that he was a guy, that was a bad idea. Meitsu would just have to find a different hot srpings along the way.

Leaving so soon? Don't worry about me hurting you. I won't do that to you or anyone else. I promise.
Ash was slightly confused as to why the girl was leaving. It was probably because he was here. He sighed and jumped back to the land. He didn't want to cause discomfort to anyone, and that was all he was doing while he was here. There was no reason for him to be here anyway.
Stay longer. You were enjoying yourself before I came along. You don't need to go.
Ash put his tunic on, and tied it off with his red sash. He put his armor on his arms again, and finally added the last of the cosmetic items to his outfit. He tied both swords to his back, easily within his reach. He turned and bowed to the girl, keeping his pose for a couple of seconds before standing up again. He would wait for a couple of seconds to see what the girl had to say before he left her. [/sub]

She blinks. He was being nice... No one was nice to her. They usually threw her away like she was a piece of trahs or tried to kill her. It was nice to be in a differnet suituation. She could get used to this way to easily.
Meitsu smiles happily. "T-thank you!" She says. She heads back over to the hot srping and then sits on the ground, undoing her foot wrappings. She was glad she could stay here for one more night, she could really use the rest. The last fight had taken a bad tole on her body. Meitsu was exhausted.
She yawns and then stands up, her feet completly unwrapped. She starts to undo her arm wrappings before she falls over from exhaustion.

There's the smile I've been waiting for.
Ash smiled himself and made sure all his clothing and other items he had were set for his travels, stretched his arms over his head, displaying hidden flexibility. He was about to take off before he heard a loud enough sound to make him turn around. It was Meitsumi falling to the ground. Ash rushed to her side.
He was surprised to see that Meitsu was out cold, but slightly happy that she didn't collapse into the water. She may be a water demon, but still, he didn't know if she could breath under water. Ash moved Meitsu to the foot of a tree, folded his sash for a pillow, and used his tunic for a blanket for her.
Ash quickly cut some wood from a nearby fallen tree, taking maybe 30 seconds to do so, and made a small fire nearby. He didn't have anything to eat, but after Meitsu woke up, he would go find something for them to eat. For now, He sat across the fire from the girl. [/sub]

Meitsu ended up going from being passed out to falling asleep. She hadn't slept in a couple days so that had something to do with her exhaustion. She slept peacefully for a while then started having her usual nightmare that ruined every night's sleep for her. She started sweating slighty.
It was the nightmare where she was watching her family and her loved ones be killed. It moved to the village being slautered then to it being burned down. The nightmare was going by quickly, unlike normal nights. It was now on the second village she lived in, and it's slaughter and burning. it stopped abruptly.
Meitsu sat up quickly, panitng. When she could see properly, she blinked. She wasn't as the spot she had passed out at. She had been moved and a fire was in front of her. Their was a shirt over her and something that acted like a pillow where her head had been. Meitsu blinked, slightly confused.
