Detailed Personality Description: Eika is rather... hard to deal with. She can be curt and abrasive to many, and when she isn't snapping at those around her, she tends to act cold and haughty. However, this is partially because she feels that she can't deal with the close ties of many relationships, and drives others off for that purpose. The weight of knowing and trusting someone makes her nervous, as it is a bond that can't be easily broken, and her need for freedom means that trusting too many could entangle her too much in the affairs of others. She hates being indebted to anyone, and if someone does aid her, she will do everything possible to no longer owe them as quickly as possible.
However, she has no ill wishes towards children of any kind, and though she can be vicious during fights, will never harm a young one. As well, any demon stronger than her will be treated with wary respect, if only because she doesn't want to get into a needless fight. She has a rather sharp tongue, and won't fail to use sarcasm if she knows she can needle and taunt others and get away with it. She's smart enough to know when to shut up and back off, though she resents being underestimated, and will act haughty and arrogant to those weaker than her, if not outright rude.

History
Detailed Personal History: Eika can't remember much of her childhood, other than the closeness of the wind, and the futility of learning to control her powers. Her parents were also wind demons, though her mother favoured a more human form, and often wandered off to watch actual humans work endlessly in their villages. However, her mother began to grow sick from the smoke as the humans mined the mountain they frequented, and the fumes as they melted iron and copper and other metals eventually drove them away. It took a long time for Eika to realize that she couldn't think of herself as seperate from the wind, but as part of it, a fraction that lived and breathed and ate, but was still as much the wind as the breeze that swept through the trees.
There wasn't much compassion in her family - her mother sickened, and she and her father did nothing but watched as she began to fade away. There weren't any strong bonds, other than the fact that they were all part of the wind... Eventually her father left, and she continued the struggle to gain control of her powers. Time passed - decades, a hundred years - and the world changed slowly, though she did little but drift through the same places over and over, observing and training and not connecting with the rest of the world. Time was unimportant, other demons were unimportant... All that mattered was her own grasping of her power, and the eventual knowledge that a balance had shifted, that something had skewed...

Dislikes:
- Crowds
- Strong scents
- Standing still
- Stale air
- Confined places

Strengths:
- Speed - Eika, being connected to the wind, can run effortlessly for hours on end without slowing down, and is extremely light on her feet. Though not the fastest yokai unless really trying to outdistance someone or chase down her prey, she still moves far quicker than an average demon.
- Senses - Eika is a wind spirit in the form of a wolf-like creature. As a result, she has both keen hearing and an amazing sense of smell.
- Air manipulation - She can manipulate the wind to a great extent: create loose shapes, such as a sharp edge to cut with; blast gale-force winds at a target; increase the sharpness of her fangs or claws by extending them with wind. She can meld her consciousness with the wind for more power, or to escape an attack or fight by fading her body into the air.
- Inner Calm - Eika knows all too well how free she is, not kept to the ground like many other yokai. If on the verge of losing herself to bloodlust, she can call back the memory of the freedom of the wind and keep herself from losing control.
- Flight - Though she lacks wings, she can run on air almost as if it was solid beneath her.
Weaknesses:
- Endurance - She can't stand many hits, relying on her speed to get rid of a troublesome enemy quickly, or take her away before she's truly in danger. As well, her body is far lighter than it would be if she was truly a being of the earth, rather than the wind, which only gives her more of a disadvantage when it comes to a prolonged fight.
- Call of the Wind - Though she can gathered any wind around her for more power, or to try and meld her body into it, this costs a great deal of energy, and casts her mind loose upon the wind for days at a time, with her body simply standing there, with no sense of self at all. If she does it too often, her soul will be torn away from her body and be unable to return, effectively killing her.
- Sensory Overload - Any loud noise can make her flinch and hesitate, and a strong smell will incapacitate her.
