Detailed Personality Description: Midoriko is a very kind, pure hearted, courageous, and all around good person that believes in the best in others. She's very calm and even tempered as well as easily forgives. She absolutely hates cruelty and wickedness in all its forms and will can easily kill someone and not loose sleep over it. She's always up for learning, helping, and meeting new people. Unlike most priestesses, priests, and monks, Midoriko does not hate demons nor does she kill them on sight. She does not understand how some of them can judge others like that because she knows humans are just as capable of the same kind of wickedness but simply lack the tools to do it.

History
Detailed Personal History: ((I'd like to note that I searched this on the Internet to make sure I got it right. If I missed anything, I'M SORRY!)) Midoriko was a very powerful priestess whose spiritual power alone was (apparently, at the time) stronger than any other living persons. It was said that she could purify and destroy 10 demons at once.
Once, after seven days and nights of fighting, she realized that she would not be able to win her battle. Her final enemy was one whose life had been created by many demons joined to an evil human heart.
When she realized that she would not win, she was drawn into the creatures body, seizing it's spirit and binding it with her own, killing both of them in the process and creating the Shikon Jewel. The jewel contained her soul, as well as the souls of the demons she bound to herself.
The souls inside the jewel were constantly battle until someone managed to free them.
Her mummified body was in a cave hidden somewhere near the exterminator village.
Recently, Midoriko was awoken by a young demoness. The people of the exterminator village were overjoyed at the revival of the priestess. As much as they asked however, the priestess would not stay at the village. They had informed the priestess of what had happened during her rest and not long after Midoriko was on her way.

Other
RP Sample: Midoriko walked down the quiet path through the forest in complete and utter silence. She was a good distance away from the village, but that was perfectly fine.
Midoriko sighed softly, the peace was so wonderful.
So calming.
So peaceful.
So...
Not right.
Midoriko looked around.
The breeze was blowing softly through the trees, the forest critters were minding their own business, water of the near by stream was rushing by, all completely normal. Nothing out of place.
"I'm probably just imagining things" Midoriko mentally assured herself. She went back to her walking only to stop moments later.
No, there was something wrong. But what was it?
Midoriko thought for a long moment when she finally felt it.
The empty, bleak, cold call of death, calling her back.
"NO!" Midoriko gasped, she clutched her sides, doubled over. She did not want to go back there. To return to the stone cold arms of death. She tried to fight it.
But how do you fight against death?
Speaking of stone cold arms, Midoriko looked down at her own and gasped at the sight. The tips of her fingers to the tops of her wrists were stone. Cold, unfeeling, hard, immobile, stone.
Midoriko had been too long dead, too long in the arms of death for death to give her up willingly. It did not want to let her go. It started at the tips of her fingers and toes and slowly made its way up, prolonging the horrifying experience.
"Why? Why give me this taste of freedom only to strip it of me moments later?" Midoriko wondered aloud as she slowly turned to stone.
It seemed, however, that the gods still wanted her around, for hours later, a young necromancer leopard hanyou happened to be walking down the path. Her name was Miyuki, but her friends and family called her Miyu.
Miyuki was to wound up in her own thoughts to notice anything, like her own power being drawn out of her. It wasn't until she was steps away from the statue that she noticed the vacuum like force whatever was calling her power had grown to.
Startled, Miyuki whirled around, looking for whatever it was. Her eyes fell to the statue. Curious, she took a step closer, just to get a closer look.
Miyuki swiveled her currently invisible neko ears toward the statue as she leaned in over it.
"Humm..." she murmured to herself. The stone was slowly turning a fleshy color. She could faintly smell the thin rivets of blood flowing through it.
A pulse.
Miyuki jumped, startled. Not only did this statue seem to be feeding off her power, but she had just heard a heartbeat!
Miyuki watched, amazed as the statue absorbed her power and started coming to life.
Something at the back of her mind told her this was a good thing, so Miyuki sat quietly as the statue slowly turned into a young woman before her eyes.
Midoriko groaned as she slowly opened her eyes. She blinked at the hanyou girl before her. There was a faint glow surrounding the girl. Not a glow of power, but of illusion. The hanyou as wearing an illusion Midoriko was easily able to see through.
"Child, Who are you? How have I been called from death?" Midoriko asked.
Miyuki shrugged. "I'm Miyuki. And I dunno, but you were sucking my power right out of me. It's a good thing I have to constantly use my power so I don't explode or something." Miyuki smiled. The woman seemed nice.
Miyuki got to her feet and offered the priestess a hand up.
Midoriko let the hanyou pull her to her feet before introducing herself. "I am the priestess Midoriko. I can see through your illusion, hanyou."
Miyuki froze, now worried and unsure of what to do. Would the priestess try to purify her as well? Her emotions played along her face as the usually did, showing anyone who would look exactly what she was feeling. She backed up a step, preparing to run.
Midoriko put a hand up. "Stop. I won't try to hurt you in any way. Don't go." She reassured the child. If it was the girl's close proximity was the reason for her her revival, then it only made sense to keep the child close.
"I don't hate hanyous or demons. I never have. Are you a traveler as well Miyuki-chan?" Midoriko asked.
Miyuki stopped backing up and nodded. She watched the priestess warily, now unsure and doubting herself once again.
"What business do you have traveling, young one? If you don't mind me asking that is." Midoriko asked.
"My youngest sibling was kidnapped a while ago. My mother sent me and my other siblings out to find out either what happened, the kidnapper, and/or the youngest of us." Miyuki explained.
Midoriko felt her eyes widen. A child's life was being threatened. Unacceptable.
Taking a calming breath, Midoriko spoke. "It seems you give off a certain power that can keep me from fossilizing. I have no true aim for where I'm headed, what's say I go with you. We'll help each other." She offered.
Miyuki thought for a moment. She'd been lonely, company didn't sound too bad.
"Okay." Miyuki smiled brightly.
They both went walking down the path, explaining what had happened to them to lead them to that point. By the end of the day, Midoriko started referring to Miyuki is Miyu-imouto-chan, and Miyuki started calling Midoriko, Midori-nee-chan
