Sakurada Gikan's Abilities

Powers/Abilities:

• Gikan can emit electricity from his body due to special enzymes (Electrase*) within his body, which synthesize Glucose and ATP into Electrose*. The Electrose molecules are then sent to cells close to the skin, where the bonds are broken, releasing energy in the form electricity.
  
• Denki Hanatsu: (Electricity Release) Gikan's body breaks the bonds of all of the Electrose within his body simultaneously, causing anything within 10 feet to get electrified. (He can only use this effectively about once every 5 hours or so.)
  
• Genetic Manipulation: Using special formulas containing bacteria that alter DNA by removing, adding, or switching out different codons, Gikan is able to change his physical attributes and appearance. Though, increasing one attribute, will always lead to an equal decrease in another. The formulas are contained inside small test tubes Gikan carries with him at all times, and are injected through a syringe.
  
• Seninriki: (Strength of a Thousand Men) Gikan injects himself with a large amount of muscle-increasing formula, which increases his strength 10-fold, while also decreasing his regeneration rate 10-fold. (Ultimately stopping his wounds from healing, and making him very likely to bleed to death. The effects last until he injects himself with an opposing formula.)
  
• Shuukyoku Kyoushu: (Ultimate Defence) Gikan injects himself with a large amount of formula, which increases the hardness of his skin to be slightly harder than steel. This also decreases the strength of his heart, causing less Oxygen to circulate through his body, causing him to tire easily and making him more likely to faint. It also makes it easier for him to die from heart failure, if his chest is hit with enough pressure.
  
• Kousoku: (Speed of Light) Gikan injects himself with a large amount of muscle-increasing formula. which greatly increases the strength of his legs, allowing him to run faster. It also decreases his lung capacity, causing less oxygen to enter the bloodstream, and causing him to become out of breath very quickly.
  
• Denkou Kanaami: (Lightning Net) Gikan's body breaks the bonds of the Electrose near his hands, causing electricity to emit from them. He then puts his hands together and creates a 'net' of electricity, which he can throw short distances.
  
• Denkou Shushou: (Lightning Palm) A short-range technique, where Gikan hits his opponent with the palm of his hand, releasing a large amount of electricity from his palm. The same effect can be achieved if he were to just grab, or even kick someone as well.

  • Increase Speed = Decrease Lung Capacity
    
  • Increase Flexibiltiy = Decrease Amount of Electricity Released
    
  • Increase Accuracy/Sight = Decrease Pain Tolerance
    
  • Gikan is also able to use certain formulas to change his appearance as in, adding wings, tails, extra limbs, etc.
