The Slayer of KingsAppearance: Power: More of a talisman of psionic power than a weapon, it has nonetheless aquired a fame (and it's name) as a tool used to dispose men of power and lift others to their place. It has the ability to help a mind mage concentrate even in the heat of battle, calming his mind and therefore honing his psionic skills. Also, it can be infused with psionic power, making it more durable and also sharper. Limitations: The amount of power than can be infused into the sword is minimal, also the amount of damage it can inflict isn't exactly significant. (though it can pierce armour, which is all that is needed xP) History:The blade was first used by Narses, a byzantine general near 982 AD, who used it to kill the king of the Vandals dyring the campaign to Carthage. It passed many hands, of them the last to weild it were Heracleus', who, after declaring holy war at the Persians, killed their king at the battle of Ninevi and dubbed it 'The Slayer of Kings'. Little did he know that it would live up to his name and used in the murdering of his son by a traitor who then later became Emperor. After the rightful dynasty had won back the throne, it was given to House Naggor, where it stayed until the night Michail slaughtered his family and stole it from one of their crypts. It has since then stayed by his side and added many a gruesome deed into it's bloody tale.[/i]
