Name: Ranryuujin Shen Ling
Race: Half dragon demon and half phoenix demon, (Also half Hollow and Half Shinigami, but they mix with the halves of his blood evenly)
Profession: Mercenary/Wanderer
Powers/Abilities:

• Martial Art Styles: Hokuto Shinken, Hokuto Ryu Ken, Nanto Seiken (It will be explained on how he got these in the past later on)
  
• Hollow Mask (The dragon-like one)- A strange manisfestation of his other heritage, it amplifies his abilities manifold, in exchange of gaining a shorter temper range. It also gives him other abilities which he has yet to discover.
  
• Kokei Kosoku (呼頸虚塞? "Breathless Combat") - The user of this technique no longer needs to breathe, enabling a state of great concentration. This only works for three posts, then he would need to breathe.
  
• Bo Pu Di Yu Huo (Hellfire spectrum)- This is a technique which uses Ryuu's black and blue fire and his phoenix fire. It releases it in a wave that changes from black and blue dragon fire, to his red phoenix fire, and back again. When it hits a living being, it causes the being's bodily functions to malfunction as he/she burned at an alarming rate. When it his an object that is not magical, it vaporizes it instantly.
  
• Shan Bao Feng Yu (Lightning Storm)- Uses a substantial amount of energy to summon a lightning storm that is triggered by Ryuu blasting a lightning bolt to the heavens. The lightning storm then hits all of the beings there, including Ryuu. This gives Ryuu a supercharge of electric power for the next five hours. His enemies though, get fried by the lightning bolts.
  
• Liu Xing Feng Bao (Meteor Storm)- Ryuu jumps up and fires a fireball of immense energy up the sky, which would take energy from the sun via a special youki construct, and rain down on his enemies as a storm of fire balls. Ryuu will hang in the air until the attack is over.
  
• Selvmord Vanvidd (Suicide Frenzy)- It is a forbidden move due to its lethality. This move drives the user into a berserk frenzy that will not stop unless killed or subdued. Combined with his hybrid form or his Hollow mask, this will amplify Ryuu's ability manifold, in exchange for temporary insanity.
  
• Forrykt Ulv Hyl (Wild Wolf Howl)- The attack makes ten wolves, five from ki, and another five from chi, and their howls are also very dangerous to the enemy. Making these constructs takes a lot of skill and precision, so only the best masters could even attempt to perform this move.
  
• Hiryu Shoten Ha (Flying Dragon Ascension Strike)- The fighter develops a "Soul of Ice", to devoid himself of emotion. The user then attempts to lead his/her opponent in a circular motion, creating a spiral of heated chi/battle-aura, but it can also work with any type of intense hot energy, or fire. The user then makes a corkscrew uppercut strike, while still maintaining an ice-cold aura. The pressure difference, from the collision of hot and cold, forms a tornado that carries off the opposing fighter(s).
  
• Tsumetai Shikon (Icy Fang)- A punch covered, and powered by an advance version of the Soul of Ice.
  
• Nibai Tsumetainami (Double Icy Wave)- This starts with slamming his fists covered with a blue glow, signifying him focusing on the Soul of Ice, onto the ground, then extending the aura surrounding it to your opponent, using a medium
  
• Healing Breath- Being part Phoenix, he has the ability to heal others. It does work en masse, but it takes more energy.
  
• Soul of Ice- The original purpose of this technique was to make the person using this technique to become devoid of emotion as a precursor to the Hiryu Shoten Ha. However, Ryuu has developed it further so that it could make his reiki or his youki ice-cold in order to fuel his attacks.
  
• Fira Armor- This is an ability where Ryuu covers himself with his natural fire, turning himself into a literal being of fire.
  
• Advance Ki manipulation- Having trained for many millennia, he has very good control over his inner energies
  
• Ki detection- This goes with his advance Ki manipulation ability, as it is used to detect other Ki sources of any type.
  
• Natural mental shields- He had these as Soul Edge would not allow anybody else to conquer his host, since it would be detrimental to its survival.

Power:

• Guddommelig Feilslutning (Divine Fallacy)- It is a forbidden move due to its lethality. It summons two illusions, perfect copies of him but with angelic wing ki constructs, both then pass through the victim at blinding speed, after which, they vanish. Afterward, the victim explodes from the inside-out, and if any of his parts land on anything other than the technique originator, they dissolve into a fine mist which would spread and destroy all who come in contact with the mist.. Or the mist will be absorbed into Soul Calibur as its meal.
  
• Purification- It does double damage to demons and the undead.
  
• Blood drinker- This refers to the need of Soul Calibur to drink blood, as opposed to Soul edge, who needs to devour souls.
  
• Der Kaiser der Beschützer fünf Schlußdas Dauerfeuer (Emperor Dragon Five Final Shooting in Long Bursts)- Five huge beams of ki with enough power to destroy a mountain each comes from the gem in the hilt. Ryuu has four uses of this technique per week, so it must be used wisely. (OOC note: He only obtained this technique in Germany some 1000 years ago, and back then he was just traveling in mainland Asia, Europe, and Africa.)
  
• Armor break- This is a side effect of the technique mentioned above; it removes his armor in his humanoid demon form stage two, leaving him to look like this: (Supposed to be black with red markings and white hair)
  

Limitations: It can use youki, but not as efficiently as the other swords. Its power level depends on the amount of blood it has consumed.

History: This blade was born from a shard of the purified Soul Egde. It was made by Algol, and he wielded it in battle against Ryuu along with Soul Edge. However, he lost and died, and so both swords went to Ryuu.

Power:

• Summon: - This sword has the ability to summon its spirit into the material realm, which is activated by Ryuu saying the spirit’s name while thrusting Soul Edge into the ground. Then when it is summoned, it will stay there for ten posts, after which it vanishes.
  
• Soul Eater- It has the ability (And need) to devour souls.
  
• Di Yu Da Men (Hell Gate)- Ryuu slashes the air, creating a vortex that leads to the realm within Soul Edge, where Inferno resides. Ryuu and his opponent is sucked into the area, where Ryuu and Inferno are invincible while in that realm. Unless the enemy could manage to shoot off a very powerful Holy spell, they will be stuck there until Ryuu decided to relinquish him/her. That would release the opponent back into the real world, but drained of at least half his energy. This is only used when is in a very dire situation, as Ryuu feels that it is more like cheating.
  
• E mó Háo (Demon Howl)- Unleashes a wave of pure evil youki at the enemy by slashing the air.
  
• Shōu Gē Zhě Lóng Juǎn Fēng (Reaper Tornado)- Ryuu slashes the air, forming a tornado of pure youki spinning at velocities of 200 m/s, shredding most things apart.
  

Along with that, it has given Ryuu a new demon form which is based on the swords' powers.

Limitations: It cannot be used to channel Reiki or any other holy energy. It must also only be used to kill, as it hungers for souls and blood to devour. It also needs to eat at least ten souls once a month, or Ryuu will go berserk in feeling the sword's hunger.

History: Soul Edge is a sword with a will of its own that was made even before 6000 years ago. This used to be wielded by Algol, until Algol was killed by Ryuu in a legendary battle, and this sword was one of the spoils. Then the Soul Edge tried to possess him, but Ryuu managed to tame the sword, and actually bond it to his soul, making Soul Calibur bond to him as well, making it unable to be used by any other being.

Weapon name: Feng de Xiong Xiong Xie

Appearance: This is a blade forged from mithril and adamantium, using blood from a full-fledged phoenix, the tears and feathers and a talon of said phoenix to forge the weapon, thus its natural red sheen. This was also forged in a phoenix’s flames, and it was crafted in the shape of what would be the Chinese Dao, but with a longer blade and hilt. The method of forging was much ahead of its time, as Ryuu himself guided them to forge this sword that was to be given to him as a gift.

Power:

• Purification of most demons, undead, and corruption
  
• Ki/Chi amplification
  
• Kotei Kaen Yoku - The sword is thrown at an angle, making it burst with holy energy and fire, which is shown as an image of wings that are spinning. Since these are thrown in high velocity, only those with extremely thick armor and hide can hope to not be sliced by this attack. Since it also has holy energy, it will damage demons and the undead even if it does not penetrate.
  
• Shen Sheng Feng (Divine Wind)- Heals injured beings with a slash. Corrupt beings however, get purified. It also acts as a seal to his true full demon phoenix form.
  
• Produces holy phoenix fire
  
• Houou-kin Ouzoku Kyukyoku Ougi: Tenka Shunmetsu Kokyudan- Ryuu’s strongest attack using this sword as of now. It is used when Ryuu focuses a lot of youki, Chi, and the sword’s own power, and then moves the sword in a circular motion. After that is done, he makes the Chinese symbol for fire in the center, and thrusts his sword, unleashing a beam of pure destruction that was 20 times Ryuu’s size. Once he uses this, he will drop off into exhaustion for a day or so. It only has a range of 500 meters, no more, no less, and its duration is only for 7 seconds. (OOC note: The name is borrowed, but the technique is original.)
  

Limitations: It cannot revive people en masse. The flames can only be made if Ryuu's intentions are noble, or else they will not manifest at all.

History: This was given to him as a gift from the Phoenix Emperor of Ho'oh peak as a symbol of his heritage and his alliance with that emperor's kingdom.

Powers/Abilities:

• Necroplasm- Ryuu can manipulate Necroplasm, despite being unable to produce it as of now. Necroplasm is a bright green energy which most demons from the lower levels of Hell use as their very sustenance, and it is also used for virtually anything the user can think of.
  
• Shuāng Zhuǎ (霜爪 Frost Claw)- Ryuu channels the Soul of Ice into his Ki, and then he moulds his Ki into five claws on his knuckles, on each of his hands, forming claws out of Ki-charged ice. The claws themselves are as long as Ryuu’s forearms, and do not have any visual imperfections. However, if he activates his Fira Armor, or if a very strong blow strikes the claws, they dissapitate; the former can be countered though, if he uses Shǎn Diàn Méi in conjunction to this technique.
  
• Shǎn Diàn Méi (閃電湄 Lightning Edge)- Ryuu channels lightning into a sharp object either to give it a stun effect, a shock effect, sharpen the edge of a sharp weapon, or even any combination of the three in any percentage of power. It also stabilizes Shuāng Zhuǎ so that it can be used in conjunction with the Fira armor.
  
• Parzillu Lalartu (Iron Phantom)- Ryuu uses a lot of Youki, normal Ki, and Reiatsu to produce two clones that are two-thirds of his current power-level. They obey Ryuu’s every order, and are very stable. They can only be dispelled by Ryuu, or by striking a deathblow to them, which is very hard, as they have Ryuu’s regeneration factor, and his immunities.
  
• Wǔ Dǎo de Ying (Dance of the Firefly)- Ryuu uses any combination of his two swords to launch a devastating combo of sword slashes and thrusts at extremely high velocities. The only thing that can be seen of this attack are the random flashes of light his Ki produces when it his the opponent.
  
• Fusion- This gives Ryuu the ability to fuse with his familiars by using their Soul Bond to merge temporarily into one being.
  • Wolf Fusion- This turns Ryuu into a werewolf, heightening all of his attributes, but speed and endurance are what increases to such levels that he falls just short of light speed. His ice abilities are also amplified by Wen's natural attribute.
    
  • Tiger Fusion- This turns Ryuu into a weretiger, heightening all of his attributes, but the ones most boosted are strength and flexibility. Ryuu also gains the ability to produce medium amounts of Necroplasm and his fire control becomes almost unparalleled.

• Necroplasm production- Soul Edge has the ability to produce Necroplasm, the energy of which Hell is made of.
  
• Dǎi Di Yu Huǒ Yán (歹地獄火焰 Evil Hell Blaze)- Ryuu channels his fire into the blade and mixes it with his Youki. Then he slashes the air in front of him in a 360 degree arc, and a ring of black fire forms around him. After two seconds, it pulses, expands to twice his height, and then it spreads out in a 500 meter radius, burning anything in its way that does not have an extremely high tolerance to heat. However, it can be dodged by digging underground, or by running away as fast as you can in the time given.
  
• Fǔ Bài Huǐ (腐敗燬 Corrupt Fire Desolation)- Ryuu absorbs some of the Necroplasm from the sword and uses it to fuel his fire, turning it black and green. Then he builds it up inside of Soul Edge, and then he plunges the sword down into the ground and transfers the energy there, causing a massive wave of flames scorch the ground in all directions for 500 meters, and it flared up three times as high as he does. The land is also corrupted as a result of being burned by Necroplasm, empowering him, Soul Edge, and any undead and/or necromancer allies nearby.
  
• Dǎi Tài Yáng Hōng (歹太陽轟 Evil Sun Explosion)- When Ryuu summons Inferno, he now gains the option to use this ultimate attack. This ultimate attack involves using Inferno as a conduct for the huge amounts of Necroplasm that he gets from Soul Edge and from Inferno himself, and then Ryuu focuses a huge amount of his fire and his Youki. After that, he slams his palms onto Inferno’s back, transferring the energy, making it mix with the Necroplasm. Then Ryuu absorbs half of it, and Inferno keeps the other half, and then Ryuu clutches Inferno’s hand and their other arms point in other directions. Ryuu commands Inferno to fire the energy out the same time as he did, and as they do that, Ryuu pours a considerable amount of Reiatsu in it, causing it to collapse in on itself, covering an entire mile diameter in its five second long explosion. After that, Ryuu will collapse from severe energy drain for a week, and Inferno will vanish back into the sword. Inferno can't be summoned for a month afterward.

• Tiān Guó Shí Zì Jià (天國十字架 Heaven Cross)- Ryuu slashes Soul Calibur in a cross motion, forming a cross shaped wave of reiryoku which cannot be blocked, but it can be dodged. The damage can range from severe to inconsequential, depending on the distance and the type of Ki. Demonic Ki, or Youki would have the most severe damage while Divine Ki, or mana, will have inconsequential to no damage.

• Shen Sheng Hún Bào Luàn (神聖魂 Divine Soul Rebellion)- Ryuu slashes the air around him rapidly as he spins, forming a torrent of reiatsu blades being fired in all directions. This technique lasts for a maximum of ten minutes, after which he gets dizzy from spinning so much.
  
• Xue Lei (Blood Tears)- Ryuu uses the blood of those who had fallen in battle recently in the area in his attack. This is when Soul Calibur absorbs the attack, then it glows red and then Ryuu slashes a hundred times to release blades made of a certain energy charge and the blood.

• Tiān Guó Yi (天國熠 Heaven Flash)- Ryuu absorbs some of the holy energy in the sword to regenerate himself and to imbue his body with holy energy.
  
• Yi Chi (熾熠 Flash Flame)- Ryuu cuts at his enemies at very high speeds, and whenever he hits while this is activated, a brief flash of hot fire will burn them as well.
  
• Feng Hui (鳳恚 Phoenix Rage)- Ryuu uses the holy phoenix fire of his sword to surround his body and the sword in flames, and it also forms flaming wings with a twelve foot wingspan. Ryuu then attacks every demonic and undead being in sight, until most of them are all gone/dead/ran away, after which he will regain control of his body again. This is always used in conjunction with Selvmord Vanvidd, except in a few very special cases where he retains control.
