Name: Rathiel Ushiwara
Race: Half demon Half Tennin
Profession: Wandering Demon Slayer
Powers/Abilities:
In addition to the magic he has learned he has powers granted to him by his lineage and his race. His divine blood gives him the power of healing and (limited by agreements between the owners of the characters) resurrection. His demon blood grants him just the opposite. He is able to transform others into one of his kind, a celestial being or a demon. (Also at owner’s consent) Though changing someone into any of these things, along with too much magic use, will drain his strength.
He inherited a power from his father, who served as an agent of death for the Kami. He refers to it as the wind dash, it is the source of his inhuman speed; it generates intense winds depending on the strength exerted and the distance traveled. The changing of his forms is mostly amplified by his emotions, though also by certain phases of the moon. Each form is limited in one way, his demon form not being able to heal others or access any powers linked to his pure side, while his Tennin form is just the opposite. His human form has only his wind dash and limited magic. His fourth “synced” form can access strengthened powers from both of his sides, though only for a limited time, after which he will revert, significantly weakened.
Weapon name: Zendaneye
Appearance: This is Zendaneye, and coincidentally Wraith's father, also named Zendaneye. (Despite favoring words over pictures this is the best I can do for this weapon.
Power: Zendaneye can be summoned on command by saying it's name, otherwise it resides elsewhere, presumably in an astral form until needed, appearing in Rathiel's hands when it is called. Zendaneye has one attack, it is is the Shinsei no Nami (Divine wave), which is a green wave of energy generated from Zendaneye. This energy lashes out at what it is willed to affect, though it isn’t a homing attack.
Limitations: The weakness of Zendaneye's attack is that Wraith must keep focused on his intended target or targets, a maximum of three if they are all in the path of the attack, if he breaks his focus, the attack would run wild, damaging anything that became engulfed within, whether it be friend or foe. The degree of damage, however, would be much lower than if one were to have gotten hit with a fully focused blast, considering the energy is more wide spread. The attack was meant to be used by an immaterial being as well, considering its wielders. Rathiel, however, is an immaterial being in a material state, so repeated usage of this attack will drain him. Four times is the most he may use this technique without being exhausted. Any further and he will be using his own life force.
History: Zendaneye was his father’s scythe who's name was also Zendaneye. It was made for the first in thier line, hence the name, a weapon made for the wielder to act as death. It served its purpose well for a long while, the males in thier family's duty ended, however, when Rathiel's father began to rebel, altering fate and helping others cheat death in response to what happened to his wife. He left the world of the Kami, going to join his lover, who was now turned into a demon. He took the scythe with him, wishing to pass it on to the soon to be born Rathiel, concieved just after he left. It was then left with Rathiel by his mother with the demon slayers. Rathiel took it up the moment he was old enough to hold a weapon. So continues its history of death.
