WEAPONS
Weapon Name: Naginata (*)A.K.A. Kokoro(*)
Appearance: It is composed of a long staff with a blade at the end for stabbing and slashing action from afar. Though the blade thicker than a katana, it dwarfs the sword by having a mere 20 inches rather then the usual two feet of the sword quality. The staff itself can be used to block swiping motions of the user to prevent bodily damage.
The staff also has a few hidden secrets within it as prior that Tsuki put her heart and soul into protecting Urufu's life. A simple twist counter clock-wise in one place pops the blade off with a little bit of a handle to become a sword if close combat become apparent. At the end there is also another twist to allow a small knife to come out for stabbing motions.
Power: According to her sister, Tsuki, the blade was made from the fang of a mighty dragon with no name to be recalled. It is thought that some of the beasts powers may reside in the blade, but it is still uncertain given the demon hands holding it. The staff itself was said to be made from the dragons scales cupped with fine silver to give it its shine. Although this is mostly speculation from Urufu, she imagines the entire weapon, excluding the knife that had seemingly been made from another demon's fang, has some form of power on its own but she has been unable to tap into it currently or perhaps she has and has not noticed.
Limitations: The weapon itself isn't limited but the wielder is. Urufu can certainly fight with the naginata, but its power seems to be limited on her own. She dare not say it, but she has outwardly spoken that she's felt some form of presence as she uses the weapon to defend herself. She has yet to pinpoint what the presence is.
History: Its birth was fairly new to the world before it was given to Urufu by her weaponry making sister, Tsuki. According to her sister and only her sister, the fang was from a mighty ice dragon near the village they were born. It is said that upon the dragon's old age, he offered his large canines to weaponry masters in hopes his sins could be forgiven before he passed on. Tsuki managed to get a hold of one and forged a serrated blade to a staff in which she gave her sister to perhaps protect her on her travels.
It currently resides with Urufu, strapped to her back slightly side ways and easily reachable if danger to should come.

Weapon name: Ancient Shield (*)A.K.A. Kagami(*)
Appearance: The shield is composed of metals, glass, and crushed demon bones to give it strength. The shield was forged by Urufu's sister, Tsuki, who painstakingly melted the materials into a circular mirror that reflects brilliantly in the light. The color of the shield seems blue in origins but in many areas it dims to purple, the glossy shine of it is very well built and made to withstand hard hits. On the ends of the shield seem to be spikes that would no doubt cause great harm if used as a flying disc. It is also based around Urufu nature of using Buru Houka and can actually exude fire from it's interior to make it appear as a weapon of choice by Uru.
Power: The basic use is that it can be thrown at a target to therefore cut through or slice in any case and is supposed to return back to the owner to be used as such again. It is also to be used as it is called- a shield. It provides exceptional cover from an onslaught of attacks that can provide safety to the user's vitals.
The fact it exudes fire means it can also burn if Urufu chooses it to be as such. It can also not give the circumstances. Urufu can manipulate the fire to pass through one's very being as to not burn them.
Its perhaps greatest power is to draw forth a demon's true nature. Whether by disguise or restraint, the gleam of the shield is said to make a demon show its true nature and form. Urufu has never been able to test this as truth or not. It is certainly a none expendable weapon Urufu uses on occasion.
Limitations: Given its nature as a power weapon and shield, it has exceptional endurance in battle. But there are limitations as it draws upon Urufu's strength during a fight. If she were to somehow lose her endurance, it would become nothing more then a shield for protection. Her powers are almost completely intertwined with Kagami.
History: Another weapon forged by Tsuki, Urufu's shield, dubbed Kagami, is a weapon and protective armor that Tsuki made specifically for defensive attacks. The weapon was born a few days after Kokoro. Both are still fairly new to the world and have not truly reached their potential given Urufu has not had many life threatening situations yet.
The weapon can be worn as a wrist band with the shield being a pendant on Urufu's right arm. A simple press to its center makes it grow to its normal defensive size and is quite easy for travel while it’s as a wristband. It is also seen on her back when in her wolf state, spinning slowly behind her as if on a perch, ready to be used by her flicking head. Flames dance about it as if it was apart of the weapon. Urufu knows little of how it manages to be so much a apart of her, but perhaps Tsuki's knowledge would best be left to her alone.

[/center]Dubbed as Blue Fire, it is a mysterious power Urufu learned far in the northern village. It might be considered a cross between fire and ice given the wolves and dogs knew such art separately. The mixture of blood and power might very well be the reason for Urufu's special power. It was during a training session in her wolven form did she somehow breathe the element from her maw as a dragon would fire. She performed the art so well that she looked as if she had done it all her life.
The element itself is a mysterious art as it seems to be within Uru's will to whether burn or not. It has various tasks that it can do under Urufu's will. Whether by using it as a means to start a fire to using it as a weapon, the variety is far and wide. To this day Urufu has come across nothing that could not be burned by the power. She herself has no idea how she can control it so well but it stands to reason perhaps more training will enlighten her on the flames intertwining of her body. Whether through her hands or mouth, the fire can conjure itself and blow forth with an intense heat. Some villagers have said that blue fire is the hottest of all flames... but perhaps that is an exaggeration.
The power is held with pride. Although she knows little of it and how it was to be, that doesn't stop her from using it when need be. To her studying of the element, it also seems to be evolving and growing. She can only wonder how much further it can grow...
