Miroku sat camly under one of the larger trees alone awaiting for Sango and either Inuyasha or Kagome to return it had been a bit lonely by himself waiting and fighting off the demons that were lurking,he hadnt seen Kaede either she had left the village for a few days to attend to a sick man."I Wish they'd hurry up,we still need the rest of the shards." He muttered the words as he lay back all te way on the grass watching the birds flying in the sky.

Kagome sighed as she walked through the forest, picking her way around tree branches and anything else that could prove hazardous to her health if she were to trip over them. She had been training with Kaede non-stop for awhile now, and had finally gotten a break when the old priestess left to take care of a sick man in another village. However, it wasn't exactly much of a break. She had left Kagome in charge of the entire village, and that proved to be a much more difficult task than the young woman had previously thought.
She had decided to go for a walk so that she could sort her thoughts out and relax for a bit when she saw Miroku. Grinning she moved towards him quickly. "Hey, Miroku!" |

"Kagome Don't Move." Miroku made a cautious step around the tree he was leaning against but as he did a nasty looking Poisenus demon had already saw Kagome.He quicklty interrepsted the attack letting the demons huge Poisenus claws leave him large marks ."AH." He pushed the demon backwards with his staff,while after that he than wraised his right hand up."WIND TUNNEL." But his face grew as the demon once again attacked smashing Miroku hard sending him into the ground."We need...Sango." He called out,for still he hadnt recovered from his old wounds.

Kagome gasped as the demon attacked and injured Miroku, sending him to the ground. "Miroku!" she cried as she ran forward.
The demon was large, and appeared powerful; but she couldn't sense a jewel from within it, so she guessed that it was just naturally strong. Raising her bow and notching an arrow to it, she aimed, pulled back, and hit the demon square in the back with the purified arrow. The demon howled in pain as the arrow ripped it's way through it's body, purifying him. Soon he was no more than a pile of ash.
Kagome ran toward Miroku again, kneeling when she reached his side. "Miroku, we have to remove the poison..." She started to look around for any herbs that might help, before remembering that she was a priestess now. She carried those herbs with her. Reaching down, she removed a small satchel from her waist and held it up so that she could find what she needed. When she did she almost sighed in relief.
"I'm sorry... I don't have any herbs that will lessen the pain, but I do have this medicine that Lady Kaede taught me how to make... it should counteract the poison." She held her palm out, two small brown orbs upon it. |

"Why is that everytime i show up someone's dying, or near death?"
Inuyasha appeared, scowling, in a tree above them. He'd been wondering about the current state of the others for a while now. Especially Sango. He had to let her know it was over between them before it began.

I Still should of been able to use my wind tunnel,poisened or not."Miroku muttered the words under his breath as bit as he raised his head just in time to see Kagome dispose of the demon with her sacred arrow.He than closed his eyes halfway feeling the poisen making its way from the slash marks,nodding his head toward Kagome he forced himself to lean forward and off the ground."I Owe you Kagome you've saved me too many times." He smiled halfway and as he did he heard a familiar voice."Inuyasha." He glanced up to see the half demon in the tree.

Kagome flushed slightly, quickly shaking her head as she smiled faintly down at Miroku. "Don't mention it.... what are friends for if not to help someone close to them when they're in need?" she said lightly.
She had noticed Inuyasha the moment he had arrived, but hadn't said or done anything until he made that biting remark. She turned so that she could look up at him, a glare set on her face. He really was a jerk. Couldn't he be nice even once in his life? "Inuyasha, she started, her voice warning. "Be nice. It's not like you've never been injured before." |

Inuyasha smirked at Kagome's comment. True he'd been injured and near-death himself in the past, but he couldn't resist making that comment since he knew how she'd react to it. Hell, half the time he made comments it was to get that reaction.

Miroku's face grew a bit dim as he listened to Inuyasha's "Master" remark damn it was priceless infact he was expecting Kagome to either yell the dangerous word.Sit,Or just walk away somewhere.She already looked a bit pissed."Uh Inuyasha i wouldnt even make remarks like that." He laughed under his breath as he starred at the half demon.

The young priestess twitched, and was almost tempted to go and get another Beads of Subjugation, if only so that she wouldn't have to put up with his annoying quirks so much. Well, she'd still have to put up with them, but at least she could punish him for any remarks that weren't appropriate. She was about to make a smart comeback when she hesitated, and, thinking the better of it she only smiled at Miroku gently.
"Miroku, has the poison medicine started to take effect yet?" |

"Don't tell me Miroku got hurt again..."
Said a feminine voice. Sango appeared from behind a couple trees, along with a woman dressed in a long white gown, who had long blonde hair. Currently, Sakura had... 'things' to attend to, and so Sango had gotten her friend Arielle to help. Each of them were carrying a small bundle, Sango's being red, and Arielle's being green. The bundles were babies, both boys with black hair and onyx eyes, however the eyes were not visible since they were asleep. "Hi Kagome, Inuyasha. Meet Itachi and Masahiro."
She smiled, nodding to each child as she said their name. Green; Masahiro. Red; Itachi.
(OOC: I know I haven't created Arielle, but she's just in for this scene to help Sango. She's not going to be around enough to even be a temp. character.) |

"My thanks are too you Kagome,the medicine is working greatly." Miroku's gaze turned as he saw a fmiliar figure well two figures coming from behind the trees with the two small bundles,this made him smile a bit and stand using his staff as support."This must be very well weird,and i apologize we didnt want to tell you anything until after the wedding." Miroku smiled a bit as he peered down at Itachi and Masahiro who were sleeping peacefully."How's are Kirara and her kits doing,Sango." It had been a few days since he had seen the two tailed fox demon and her kits along with her mate Nightshade.
{Gotta make Nightshade's prof up again}

Kagome felt her breath catch in her throat. She apparently hadn't been around enough at all, if she had completely forgotten that Sango was going to give birth, and by the looks of it, already had. She stood up, a smile tugging up the corners of her lips as she made her way over to the woman she thought of as a sister.
"Oh, they're so cute," she gushed as she smiled down at the one in Sango's arms. "They look so much like Miroku..."And hopefully they won't grow up to be like him... she thought wryly. |
