Another Future

In the infamous Golden Trio’s sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Draco Malfoy was ordered by the Dark Lord Voldemort to kill Albus Dumbledore. However, he was unable to complete the task. Therefore it fell upon the shoulders of Severus Snape, who had made an Unbreakable Vow with Draco’s mother, Narcissa.

However, Dumbledore had thought something like this might happen. And so he had devised a plan to have Snape pretend to kill him. When everyone believed him to be dead he would go into hiding, and not reappear until Voldemort was dead.

This worked surprisingly well, for no one suspected that the headmaster was still in the world of the living.

Less than a year later Voldemort was dead, killed at the hands of Harry Potter. Miraculously, only a few from each side were killed, only the minor players.

2006. It is now eight years after the final battle, and much has changed. Albus Dumbledore is once again Headmaster of Hogwarts, but is thinking of soon retiring. The members of the Golden Trio have gone their separate ways, each pursuing their own dreams.

There have even been rumors that people who fell through the veil in the Department of Mysteries don’t really die. Instead they’re sent through time. The people who have lost someone to the veil hope these rumors are true and that their loved ones will soon return.

…but not all is peaceful.

There are also rumors that a new group of wizards who call themselves Death Eaters is growing in power. Dumbledore fears that they will become even more powerful than the original Death Eaters, and will cause more chaos and strife than Voldemort or Grindelwald ever did. Apparently they also have plans on reviving Voldemort and Grindelwald.

…which side will you join? The light? Or the dark?
