Hundreds of years have passed since the defeat of Majin Buu and the Z Fighters have passed on, dying of natural causes. During these hundreds of years the Saiyans have been laying dormant deep within the depths of HFIL where they trained and unlocked the secret of becoming a Super Saiyan. King Vegeta is the first of them to obtain Super Saiyan 3 and uses his new found powers to break a hole in the dimensions, just like what Super Buu and Gotenks did. King Vegeta was then able to escape the Other World along with his race of blood thirsty Saiyans as they start their new conquest to take over the universe this time for themselves and not Frieza.
The Saiyans hit a huge snag though, the planet known as Earth has grown strong and powerful enough to provide a forceful resistance along with the help of the Namekians. Over the past hundreds of years Martial Arts has grown radically in popularity and arenas and schools start to open up and spread around the globe as memorials and tributes to Goku and the Z Fighters. These schools are for gifted children and teenagers with the ability to use Ki. They attend these schools to train, to spar, to learn how to focus and use their energy, to learn how to fly, to develop their fighting skills, to create their own techniques, to learn strategic facts and values, to train their bodies and minds to become the ultimate Martial Artists.
Gym classes contain sparring sessions, technique practicing, and training. Class rooms teach skills and knowledge in fighting, secrets to the Martial Arts, how to create your own successful and powerful techniques, how to use your strength, speed, and energy in combat, and other Martial Artist Secret weapons that are taught to be used against the Saiyans, such as the Kamehameha Wave, Destructo Disk, Tri-Beam, Spirit Ball, Masenko, Special Beam Cannon, Solar Flare, Multi-Form, and the Fusion. Students are graded on their skills, techniques, and power levels. Certain power level ranges will put them in certain level groups, the higher the level group, the more advance your training is. The schools even have Gravity Chambers and Simulation Training rooms.
Namekians have also integrated into these schools for Namek is a planet of peace and they do not have the necessary training facilities. So the Namekian Warriors come to Earth in order to train and many of them can be seen around, they are as many as Part-Saiyans. Part-Saiyans though are rather rare; these are humans that have the Saiyan gene in their veins though they may not even know it themselves. The Saiyan blood-line has been spread out thin over the world over the past hundreds of years and the only real way to know if one is Part-Saiyan is if they obtain Super Saiyan. Though it is almost impossible for a Part-Saiyan to reach Super Saiyan and beyond for they have a so little amount o the Saiyan gene in them that they must be under extreme conditions and achieve it always by complete accident.
Androids are also roaming the Earth, built by Capsule Corp. to model Gero’s creations in order to use them as weapons against the Saiyans and other threats. The Saiyans themselves mostly use Saibamen and grow armies of them to do their biddings. Often times attacks will happen upon the schools and the Teachers and Students will be forced to fight them off. The forces of Earth and the Saiyans are not all that lurks out their though.

Frieza and Cell have also escaped HFIL and have started to build their own empires and forces as they take over planets and inhabit them. Frieza retreats to the far ends of space to find that Cooler and the Big Gete Star have survived and has been rebuilt over these years and has grown. Now Cooler has a large army of Meta Coolers and Frieza himself gathers up any remaining Changelings/Icers in the Universe and puts them under his control as well as any other aliens that wish to join his cause. Cell himself invests in absorbing every life force he can and uses their energy to create more and more Cell Jr until he has a powerful army for himself as well. Frieza, Cell, and Cooler are allies and simply stay out of each others way. They don’t help each other or get in each others way. The Saiyans contain no alliances and do everything for themselves and no one else, and Earth’s only alliance is with Namek.
Namek is constantly being threatened by attacks from its weak army, which is why Namekians train hard on Earth. Many earthlings are sent to be stationed on Namek as well to help fight and protect. Many die in these war and those that do are sent to the Other World to train with the Kais and the Z Fighters to be later brought back by the Dragonballs when the chance is right. The Z Fighters themselves cannot come back for good due to that they died of natural causes and the Dragonballs will only revive those that were killed, murdered, or died of unnatural causes.
