Shizune is, in one word, overprotective. She will protect her brother no matter what, even when he doesn't really need protecting. She has been this way for as long as she can remember. Shi doesn't take lip from anyone. If someone talks bad about her or her brother, she will lose her temper and go after them and make them apologize, even if she is outnumbered.
Which is another of her fallacies. She's not good at knowing when to give up, and is a terrible loser. Even if she just loses a bet she gets very upset and starts screaming her head off, often yelling obscenities. Which is also yet another problem for her. She is addicted to gambling, and will always look for a hall to gamble in once she earns some money. She almost always loses, and then runs off with her brother, leaving her debts behind. Detailed Personal History:
Shizune, although many think otherwise, is the younger twin. She was born precisely an hour after her older brother, The doctors had almost given up hope that she would be born alive, and yet somehow she was. It was a miracle, and also a curse. Because of how long their mother was in labor, she fell extremely sick afterward, though she tried to hide it for years. Finally, when the twins were six, their mother succumbed to the sickness and became bedridden.
Their father blame Shizune for their mother dying, which only confused the child. She didn't yet understand death, nor did she understand why her father was blaming her for it. And yet, a part of her deep inside felt as though it was her fault that her mother was sick all of the time. Almost five years later the woman finally did die, no longer even resembling the beautiful woman she once was.
After beating her, Shizune and Yusuke's father threw her out of the house with nothing but the clothing on her back. She would have died, had it not been for her brother, who had followed her willingly. Since then the two have been completely inseparable, Shizune still blaming herself for their mother's death, as well as blaming herself whenever Yusu got ill. She knew deep down that her brother's illness was not her fault, but she still took the blame.
She is now a top bounty hunter, her brother being one as well, although she is much better than he. The two travel the world searching for jobs, and her searching for redemption as well as gambling halls.

Yusuke is a cross dresser. No matter how many times his sister has tried to get him to wear boy's clothing, he still won't relent. But is it really his fault that he loves girls clothes? He doesn't think so, and he secretly believes that Shi likes him wearing what he wears as well.
He is a sickly young man, short in stature, and short in other ways as well. He was born with a heart condition that could, and probably will, one day kill him. He doesn't let it get him down though. He is extremely optimistic about the future, and always sees the best in every situation and every person.
He is extremely easy-going as well, and despite his profession, hasn't ever actually killed. He came close once, but his aim was too poor and he missed the demon he was fighting completely and hit a tree. He had simply laughed it off, not really caring one way or the other. He hates violence and fighting, and yet knows that they are sometimes necessary for survival. He also hates gambling, something his sister loves.
He is a bit naive, and is often called feminine, for reasons besides his clothing. He still has naive views on the world about how there is good in everyone and one day everyone and everything will be at peace. As for feminine, he is fond of stories, especially fairy stories, and songs.
Yusuke also can be called a crybaby, for he cries easily. He depends on his sister to protect him when he is in trouble, and is unable to defend himself.

Yusuke is the older of two siblings. Older by one entire hour, that is. Being the oldest, and the only boy his parents had, he was favored by his father, and loved dearly by his mother. When his mother began to get sick he was confused, and very worried for her. He didn't want her to die, but somehow he just knew that she would.
When she did die he was only slightly surprised, and more than slightly upset. And then the same day his sister was banished from the house and village by their father after getting beaten up. His father ordered him not to follow her, but he didn't obey. He followed his sister, and saved her from certain death in a snow storm. Since they have become inseparable, and have both become bounty hunters.
Ever since he was born Yusuke has had a heat condition that could, and probably would, one day kill him. And yet he is not afraid of death. What he fears is one day leaving his sister all alone.
