Ranryuujin Shen Ling once again wandered Japan. He was still in search of Totosai, the legendary sword-maker who was said to have made the Tessaiga of the hanyou hero Inuyasha, the Tensaiga of the current Lord of the Japanese Western lands Sesshoumaru, and the Gore Fang of his friend Tashamaru. Those swords were very powerful, and he was interested in getting his own sword based on the powers of the dragon, to off-set his other blade. Plus... such results cannot be denied. Such power in the swords, even with the fang of the legendary Inutaisho, whom according to rumor was once again walking these lands, can only be shaped by a master.
Even now, his familiars accompany him in his search for Totosai. It had become very important to him to find Totosai, so much that he was willing to spend years on the island just to find him. However... right now he wasn't searching for him. He was here to find the remains of the powerful dragon Ryukotsusei. Making a blade, or even armor, out of the bones of such a powerful being was sure to be very valuable. And he could use them as a basis, along with his very father's bones, to forge his new weapons.
But first... he had to find the site where he and that hanyou mutt fought. This was looking to be harder than he had thought at first; after all, the island was so small compared to his home in China, and most especially his favorite place to visit: Russia. Maybe he should have asked Tashamaru for his help in this endeavor.... Nah, it would be too inconvenient for the guy, and for himself as well. It's best if he simply looked for it himself and just with his familiars.
But where to start? This damn gorge was huge! But then again... that was probably why Inutaisho sealed him into this place. Even as he continued to walk... he can feel little signs that Ryukotsusei was here, but not exactly where. It was rather annoying that way.

Dull blood red eyes scan the area, little interest in her surroundings really. Even now she wonders why she even came to this place. Oh right, the old hag made her come here to get a bone of some dragon thing that died here. Even Amaranthe was completly unsure of why the witch would want a bone of a dead demon. Despite her young age even she knows that a bone is just a bone, but then the old hag did mention that demon bones still hold the power of once when they lived or something like that. She mostly ignored the witches lectures on stuff like that; taking time to pick dirt out her finger nails or something.
As the girl continues to skip around the valley, her flower like dress swishes around her legs. Her black shoes scuffing on the rock ground as she stops slightly to close her eyes and breath in a deep breathe. Exhaling her eyes snap open to look around with catious eyes. There is a dragon here, but alive. So that dragon demon couldn't be the Ryowhatshisname, since that demon is dead. Soooo in other words, either that dragon is passing by or he's looking for the dead corpse as well. Now Amaranthe is interested in the corpse. With a surge of energy, transluctant wings appear on her back. Getting really tired of walking around she decides to fly around to find the corpse first. She's gonna make this a race.
Flapping her wings with strong pulses she rises up into the air before shooting off up high into the air. As her eyes scan the area, she slowly flies around the are so as to not miss the corpse.
"I'm gonna fine the Ryowhat'shisname's bones first~!" She calls out loudly in a childish voice. She swoops around in circles, as she rises even higher into the air.
Comments: sorry for the long wait .__.

OOC: No worries!
Ryuu's ears perked up as he heard a shout come from... high above? It was a young lady's voice alright. He looked up, and saw that it was a beautiful white-haired demon girl with... angel wings?! What the heck? From her scent... she must be a mixed-breed, and not a pure demon, just like he himself was. But the other part was vampire.... This meant that she was one of those angel demons.
But there are very few angel demons in existence. And that's mostly because most Gods and Hell demons don't like them at all due to just what they are. The odds of one settling on this planet are astronomical... and the chances of one breeding with the natives are even smaller. Such a rare breed indeed... and one searching for Ryukotsusei's bones as well? Meh, best not to think about it too much.
With a slight smirk on his face, he willed his ki to push himself up in the air, leaving behind two dumbfounded familiars. Those familiars did not dare interfere, since their master showed interest in this one, so they won't. Frankly, they weren't suicidal enough to earn his ire. That girl though... she just might be. This should be amusing to watch! Especially if their Master gets mad.
Ignoring their rather... negative thoughts, Ryuu flew up at fast speeds to meet the girl in the air. Once he was properly situation to talk, he began to speak, a smirk on his face as his blue and silver eyes glinted with something unknown. "Is that so? Then you're on, onna!" With that he moved away from her at fast speeds and began to search.

Oh Amaranthe was something special alright. Obnoxiously rude little child she is, but a rare things to see at the same time. 1/4 angel demon, 2/4 wolf demon, and 1/4 vampire. Which is something that does not seem very natural, which in sense is pretty true. Quite frankly she had never bothered to ask the old hag how she came to be, nor will she ever. She didn't even want to know why she was born, considering her only mother never liked her and gladly gave her up to the old hag. The old hag in question is old, but doesn't even look like one. Her personality on the other hand gives off that hagish witch from hell kind of air.
As she watches the Dragon demon rise up towards her, a delicate silver eye brow rises slightly as an amused look places itself on her face. She had given the challenge, and the demon had taken it. Within a blink of the eye, the man had shot off to find the bones of that one dead dragon. Looking down at the familiars of the demon her face contorted into a displeased look. Opening her mouth into a wide frown she showed off her pearly white fangs and hissed at the two. Closing her mouth she gave off a low growl before turning away from the familiars and shooting off in the opposite direction.
Even if she lost the search, she would in a sense still get a win. The demon would have found the dead corpse for her, and in the other way she'd find the corpse herself. So it's a deffinate win/win situation. Forming the air particles around her, a smirk places on her face as shoots off at high speeds. A sudden 'boom' cracking the serene atmosphere of the area at the sudden jolt of speed. Her eyes having gotten accustomed to the way everything just melted around her, she was able to get a good look at the area to find the corpse but at the same time keep a good high pace. Amaranthe was never the one liking to lose.
Though in the back of her mind, she had the aching feeling that this little search of hers was going to be for nothing. Just a 'game' of treasure hunt that the old hag had come up with.
"Shrewed hagish bitch..."
Comments: lawl xD Amaranthe has a way with words. :3

OOC: The sad thing is... my search was futile. I looked around and saw that the previous Dragon general took most of the bones....XD The wind in his hair felt nice. How long has it been since he had flown under his own power? Much too long indeed.... He really should do this more often! It would help him relax after all of those pain-in-the-ass diplomatic missions the Musk and Phoenix kingdoms send him on. All of the deities in whatever passed for heaven knew he needed it badly, especially with those bitch Amazons.
His eyes scanned the surroundings carefully. He also absently noted his familiars in the distance, walking towards him with a scowl. Apparently their thoughts about the mixed breed were very dark. He wondered why? Oh well... it wasn't his business. Time to search some more. Getting distracted would make him lose.
He continued to look around... feeling the energy vibrations in the air. He was following a Ki trail now, one which he didn't see because it was mostly airborne. He had to thank the girl for that. He tracked it down to... a cave. A huge cave, but a cave nonetheless.
Shrugging, he landed on the ground and walked inside. The smell of demon was now so strong that it overwhelmed his nostrils. He had definitely come to the right place. He looked around the cave, seeing that it was just one giant clearing. After a few minutes... he then saw his quarry. Or rather what was left of it.
All that was left of Ryukotsusei's bones were his toothless skull, and his ribs. Oh, and a tailbone as well. Seeing this, he scowled, but took the bones, and forced them to fit in subspace. Damn... so much for the sword idea. Maybe armor instead.... Oh well, at least he won that race.

Melinda stood on the edge of the gorge, her pale hair caught in the searching breeze of the gorge. Large, inquisitive teal eyes scanned the horizon as the sun set, a sunset so like the one she'd met her mate at. Stars twinkled in the sky, while one half of the sky was filled with the dimming hues of pink, purple and orange, the other side luminated by the crescent moon. Smiling faintly, the dragoness remembered the sweet kisses and the tender carresses she had shared with Veruke, her heart aching for him. She wished he would return to her, return to her side- but he was gone, vanished.
Since she was blood-bonded to the Dragon General, she knew he wasn't dead, but just... elsewhere. But she didn't know where. Otherwise she would open her silvery white wings and fly to him, not stopping for anything, not food, not water, not rest, not until she reached his strong, loving arms so she could once again be his.
Her reverie was interrupted, however, as her sensitive ears picked up the sound of voices- not too far off, but both from the sky. She glanced up, and blinked. A dragon and a... what was that girl? She smelled angelic and vampiric at the same time... what the hell? It was a taboo for Angels to mate with vampires, and depending on gender, most vampires couldn't even reproduce. Most males could, since they wouldn't change during the pregnancy, but usually only very few females actually could, and out of that handful, only a few were pureblooded vampires.
Then again, Melinda had known a pair of fraternal twins- hybrids, one a vampire and one a werewolf. She supposed if those two breeds could ignore the massive race feud, it wouldn't be hard for some sort of vampiric angel to be born.
But back to the matter at hand... she knew neither of them, and they were both on her mate's territory, and that was entirely unacceptable. Especially since if what she heard was right- they were after Veruke's father's bones. Though her beloved might be absent, she was there, and no disrespect would be given to anything of his. And the corpse of his father was obviously supposed to remain undisturbed after he'd moved most of the bones to a tomb.
"HALT." She screeched as the pair neared, her dragon's wings snapping open from between her shoulderblades and lifted her into the air, as fluid as water. Her teal eyes flashed wolf-yellow. "I am Melinda, the current queen of this territory. State your name and purpose, and I will decide if I shall let you pass."

The melting surrounding soon gave way to a stop as the place soon took a more sturdy and solid look. The sudden halt having put some pressure on her transluctant wings, but nevertheless wasn't must of a problem for her. She had grown accustomed towards the sudden jerk at stopping, or slowing down really. Even if she tried stopping at once, it would tear her wings heavily. Causing it to be conciderably painful, even if they are transluctant.
Positioning her wings slightly her eyes roam around the area. Her vision bending as her eyes zoom in and out at what's below her, a little trait she got from her angelic side. Her eyes scoping like that of a hawks. Seeing nothing that resembles of bones, she silently hiss to herself. Displeased at how long it's taking her to find the damn bones. Apparantly it should be out in the open, since the battle and death of him was placed in the deep ridges of the gorge. As her wings flap absentmindedly; she turns around to get a whiff of where the dragon demon might be.
Closing her eyes and allowing the different smells to penetrate her nose. Two distinct smells filter in with a slight pinch to it. Both of the being living, breathing dragons. One of them being the dragon she had challenged and another who had surfaced. As her mind quickly pulls itself away from the bones, her wings flap silently towards the unknown dragon. Her curiousity getting the better of her. Well good thing she isn't a cat demon.
"HALT."
Amaranthe's eyes slightly widdened a fraction before turning into a blank clueless look. She watched wordlessly as the dragon demoness rises up with her own wings, the woman's eyes flashing dangerously. Obviously she had done something to enrage the woman. She hasn't done anything to a demon in this place, nor has she made much contact really.
"I am Melinda, the current queen of this territory. State your name and purpose, and I will decide if I shall let you pass."
Decide if I can pass? Why do I detect the hint of a threat in that demand.....?
Blinking a few times with her head tilted. Amaranthe decides to not say anything; waying her options on the ifs. Amaranthe could obviously out fly the woman, but she wasn't much of a runner. Then she could just stand here and later state her name. Thinking on the other dragon, a small smile places on her face. An idea coming to mind, but it all matters on what the Queen of this territory has heard. "I am Amaranthe. Daughter of many, and only owned by one. I have come here on the request of Eichi of the Shadows." Amaranthe says in a soft monotony voice, her face matching her tone. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Words: 626. Check it if you want t make sure. Notes: Feels short. XD Just as the white haired demon was finished putting the bones into his subspace pocket- man, they were huge! It was actually weighing him down by quite a bit- he decided to stay there. All the better to gloat after all, even if he was supposed to get the hell out of here right afterwards. For some reason, the girl provoked his pride, a piece of him he had thought he had squelched in Japan; guess he was wrong. Now he was getting competitive again, even though he shouldn’t. Or was that wouldn’t? He really couldn’t tell anymore; he was confused with his own moods.
He sat upon a rock, waiting for the girl to arrive, pillowing his arms behind his head and essentially relaxing. While waiting, his blue and silver eyes narrowed at the brief memory of the girl’s scent. She had angel demon blood in her alright… but she also had wolf demon blood… and strangely enough, vampire blood. It truly was a curious hybrid, but that wasn’t the most concerning part. That part belonged to the fact that his nose and aura sense had singled out: she had three parents… and she was artificially made. More distressingly, her aura indicated that she was only around a year old or so, directly contrasting her appearance. Just what was she? An experiment… or something else?
Suddenly, Ranryuujin’s train of thought was broken when he had heard a voice. "I am Melinda, the current queen of this territory. State your name and purpose, and I will decide if I shall let you pass." His head perked up at that, turning to the woman who declared that.
The first thing that hit him was her scent; she was most definitely a dragon demon, a pure one at that. The second thing that hit hi once he did a cursory scan of her youki… was that she was blood-bonded. He couldn’t tell who she was bonded to though… he wasn’t that good yet. Well… that, and the guy was simply too far away to sense. Bah, it probably doesn’t matter anyway, if he couldn’t sense him.
Queen of this territory, eh? Quite a big name for a female. He had expected the Japanese demons to be more sexist, like the humans he had frequently encountered while wandering these accursed islands. Maybe they were more lenient with gender unlike the humans? He wouldn’t know; the few demons he did come across came off as ‘exceptions’, which frankly annoyed the hell out of him. How was he supposed to know about this damned place if he didn’t know squat?
"I am Amaranthe. Daughter of many, and only owned by one. I have come here on the request of Eichi of the Shadows." At that familiar voice, the hybrid demon turned and faced the newcomer. It was the demon that had dared him to find the bones first. Well this was rather awkward. At least he had gotten some nice pieces of information out of this.
He mentally shook his head; back on topic. Maybe he should entertain the female dragon’s request? Nah; he’d rather do it the fun way and piss her off first. Having an upstart female dragon pissed off and after his hide on a merry chase seemed fun at the moment, even with the bones weighing him down a lot.
”Me? I’m just a wanderer. That’s all you need to know, girl.” He gave a dark smirk for emphasis, crossing his arms as he stood up and leaned against the wall. Let’s see how see reacts. If his guess was right… then this should be good. Especially if she could smell the bones on him; e had not made an effort to hide the scent at all.

Melinda watched the small girl thoughtfully; she'd heard of Eichi before, not all bad things, however, some weren't precisely good. But from a friend of her's she did know Eichi made fine spidersilk clothing and was, in essence, the witch of shadows. This girl at least seemed somewhat compliant, not at all like the foolish ass who was entertaining himself by stealing some of her father-in-law's bones, thinking she hadn't noticed.
"Dragon-whelp, you already irritate me with your insolence. I give you a choice; replace the bones, or I will retrieve them by force. My mate would be hardly so merciful," she snarled, glaring at him venomously. She glanced at Amaranthe again, giving her a quick 'we'll talk when this is over with' look, before turning back to the dragon."Veruke would hardly like his father's corpse to be stolen right in front of him."
Perhaps the fact she was the General's mate would scare him into coughing up the damn bones. Melinda was also the last of her own bloodline, and therefore had all the powers of her ancestors and their's. Including very poisonous claws equipped with the ability to act as acid.
