Detailed Personality Description:
Yuzuna is bubbly, energetic, and full of pep. If anyone didn't know better they would guess that she was a cheerleader based on her behavior. She loves to play sports, and was a member of her junior high Tennis Club, Swimming Club, and Track Club. In addition to those three sports she spent the remainder of her time either with her friends, or playing video games at the arcade. Which is probably why her grades in school have never been very good. She has always received low marks, in the 30s, sometimes the 40s, but also sometimes in the 10s.
Which is not to say she isn't smart, although she can be quite naive. She is very intelligent, and could easily do well, if she actually put her mind to it--or perhaps her nose to the books, is a better expression.
Yuzu has a bad temper though, usually displayed only towards boys, who she finds "yucky". And when she gets mad she likes to scream. But she never resorts to violence or cursing. Although her version of swearing is quite different from most people. She has a habit of replacing curses with things like "Oh Crackers!"

Ever since she was little Yuzuna has been very good at playing sports, despite her small stature. Whenever a new year starts she joins as many clubs as she can, although she always joins the tennis club, no matter what, since it is her all-time favorite. She has also always been talented with arcade games, something that she is very proud of. She spends most of her free time either on the school grounds playing, or at the Tokyo Arcade.
Which explains her very bad grades, and why her parents constantly yell at her and tell her how disappointed they are in her. Her parents, both doctors, only care about high test scores, not sports and games and fun. Her parents always praise her older sisters Kaede and Maya, the "normal ones" in the family. Although Yuzu thinks they're the "boring ones" since all they ever do is study, study, and go to cram school to study. Kaede, the oldest, was the high school class president, valedictorian, and now a second year at Tokyo University. Maya, also president and valedictorian, now a first year at Oxford.
Despite her family Yuzuna has turned out relatively normal, always happy and full of energy and life. She has made several close friends, although only one that went to the same high school as her. What with her bad grades, she had to go to the only one that would accept her. The friend that transferred with her is Denjiro, whom she has called "Denny" since they were in the sixth grade. He is her unofficial protector, and they get in lots of fights, but she still really likes him as a friend. In fact, he is one of the few boys she has actually taken a liking to.
