With the rest of the group safely hiding out in the forest baring his father's name, Kin took off for the one place that he knew he could go to and get through, the Well. It wasn't about getting to the right time and place, it was more about knowing that he really could go through after his friend altercation with the time stream. With a satisfying thud, he hit the ground on the other side of time. Kin stared at the latter that was there in curiousity. That was peculiar! He didn't remember a latter there before- it was a simple affair just rope with wood planks. He wondered who added it to the well set up since he got up without one. With his foot planted on one side of the well, Kin kicked off, alternating back and forth before he hit the top and landed outside of the well.
The quarter dog boy put his hands on the back of his head stretching while looking at a very familiar sight, this was Home two, and while Home one was more action packed and entertaining, this one was safe and calm. He looked around for his things, the things he'd left before to change into when he came home- both ways, he was actually looking for his kimono since his t-shirt and jean combo was filthy. He expected that if his grandmother or mother saw him like this they'd probably grab him and throw him into some sort of bucket of water to get off the grime.
"Goddammit old woman! Where the hell did you move my clothes?" Kin spoke aggravated, letting his temper show for the moment being. "Leave home for a little while and all my shits been moved." He knew that he shouldn't be cussing back in the 'Modern Era' because he didn't think it was appropriate to do so in front of his grandmother but it had been a long few days and the lack of sleep and worry were heavy on the boy. He wasn't reacting well, and he just wanted to find his clothes. He started to sniff around on the floor- looking fruitlessly for these clothes. He let out a long and winded sigh. He propped himself against the stairs. Kin hated waiting but in this instance, he would have to- tracking mud and dirt through the house was disgraceful, and while his father may have thought nothing of it, his mother would frown upon it and he didn't like that. He wouldn't want to upset her, not now, not ever.
He reached a hand back and scratched his ears- they too were dirty, the silvery-white color was turning grey and dull. He just felt the scrapping feeling of one of those scrubber things against his ears, and it made him cringe a bit. Though, he doubted it would happen. The sixteen year old let out a long yawn. He looked around, he decided to take just a peak outside of the well. He saw an elderly man, whom he knew solely from pictures, and then a group of girls and a boy with some sort of medical thing. He tried to focus in on it and when he finally did, he was puzzled. Kagome is sick in bed- okay so his mom was sick but why did those guy care.- Her diabetes is messing up. WHOA WAIT A SECOND!
Kin was a bit alarmed by this new information. His mom didn't have diabetes- right? I mean, she never seemed sick and back in his first home she never seemed brought down by that. Then in a moment things really started to click, that old man had been dead since he was a little boy. This wasn't his time, this was earlier. He glanced to the well and back outside. He couldn't move for a moment. He was just frozen- as his body just wanted to be found by someone so they could tell him it was a joke... yeah... it was just a joke
[OOC: Technically my second post with Kin, I found muse today, so I thought I'd post with him. Site needs active members so I guess I'll be around occasionally.]
