Umiko’s legs swung loosely beneath her as her eyes scanned the view in front of her, the demon was on another of her ‘mini adventures’ and you could say that she was working also. Umiko was planning on a big thievery, apparently they was a large group of humans travelling through the forest in the few days and she hoped to catch them but so far she had seen nothing. The ice demon leaned back so far that she was now hanging upside down, her long dark hair flowing back and forth with the wind.
“Perhaps making my way back would be best.” Umiko spoke softly to herself before swinging forward, wrapping her hands around the branch to lift her weight and make her way down the tree quickly but perhaps not safely. The tree’s park began to frost and flake at her very touch, causing her hands to slip a many times, so much so that she had to dig her nails dip within the bark to stop her from falling a fair feet.
Finally the ice demon reached the ground, the gentle tap of her feet seemed to echo throughout the forest making Umiko feel wary about the situation, the forest just too quiet. The demon pulled up her black shirt to cover the bottom half of her face and let her hair down, when you had a good reputation like her it was best to conceal your identity. Being a thief would be bad for business in the brothel.
Before Umiko would return she would find some water and refill her bottle as the travel back had very limited streams. Walking towards a small trickling stream, she gently dipped the flask within the water as it began to fill up, pulling it out from the water Umiko blew down into top before closing it, it was just a way to keep it cool for awhile.
The ice demon heard a rustle in the bushes, and within seconds she had already pulled of her bow and arrow before even giving it a chance to reveal itself. ‘I bloody hope it isn’t a cat.’ Umiko thought to herself as she gulped but luckily enough out from the bushes came a small squirrel. The demon let out a breath of relief before putting away her weapons again. “Rodent. “

Urufu's legs had finally carried her close to the next village. But perhaps it had taken just a little longer given her few 'distractions'. Distractions being the thieves and a rapist, but those things aside, she had had many transactions with her art on the road that took time. Now she would be able to make it to civilization soon. Perhaps a soft bed... some warm food. The thought made her sigh with relief. Her short journey from the smaller villages to an actually large one sounded like heaven on earth.
Her food and water preserves were still rather intact given the journey she had been on. Her money was perhaps halfway out, but she took great precautions to try and make her yen last. Her art had been safely tucked away in her sack as her cloak would perhaps need a good wash when she reached the village. Her ears could use the freedom they so truly deserve. Being a wandering artist had never been so fulfilling actually. She was quite happy with her career at the moment since it was booming.
An overhead pass of tree sheltered her form from the sun as she neared a small checkpoint in the trail. Her footsteps suddenly halt as she looks at a peculiar tree. her brows furrow and her ears go back as she looks the frost-bitten tree over out of all the trees. The single tree had seemed to have claw marks in it as well. It didn't take a genius to figure out that perhaps a demon like creature had stolen itself into the tree for some form of occasion.
Shrugging it off, she had no time to investigate a frost-bitten tree. With a deep sigh does she continue on her path. Her naginata clangs momentarily as she abruptly picks up her pace. Her eyes were obviously determined to not let something else happen this time. No more distractions, no more aggravations. Just get to the village... just get to the village was all she could think of.

Umiko stared down at the squirrel for a while four minutes now, she was thinking over whether or not to kill it, seeing it as a cruel thing didn’t really enter the demons mind she was just a little annoyed that hadn’t had any action this few days and didn’t ant to return home disappointed. Then again killing a squirrel wouldn’t be the most ‘thrilling’ experience just a little pathetic. Umiko let out another sigh before turning away from the woodland creature who squeaked at her innocently before scurrying off. “Damn my kindness.” The ice demon laughed to herself .
Umiko felt the presence of another demon, it didn’t bother her too much as this was the woods and demons were everywhere. She couldn’t really tell just how dangerous this demon could be and for a long moment she thought about jumping them at least then she might go home with a some cash or even some stories to tell the girls.
Walking silently through the trees and bushes she saw what seemed to be a dog demon, well that’s what she guessed. Umiko breathed slowly, opening her flask she poured a few droplets of water into her palm, using her ice element the water droplets turned into ice shards. Smiling at her work she tapped the tip of the shard to see if it was sharp enough before adjusting it into her bow.
Umiko pulled back the string, she wasn’t aiming for the demon but instead she would plan to hit the tree just in front of her as a small warning. Releasing it the shard went flying through the air, hitting her target. “I don’t suppose you have any money ? “ The ice demon spoke as she walked out from her hiding place with a smile hidden by her mask.
The ice demon didn’t know what she would have gotten herself into but didn’t care, heck this was just work to her and nothing personal and if this demon was willing to cooperate then Umiko might even let her keep her clothes. She laughed at the thought.

Her sense of smell was impeccable to catch wind of the demon's presence as she began to near her. Something told her instinctively that whoever the demon was, she was not simply trying to have an easier path to walk upon. She closes her eyes and breathes deeply through her nose, hoping that for once her instincts were wrong.
Unfortunately, if her instincts were a person, perhaps she would be hearing a condescending told you so. The sudden pull of string caught her ears and she stops completely. The scent was powerfully strong and before she knew it, glinting in the little sunlight that was caught between branches made her ears go back in a threatened pose. Eyes immediately narrow as she watches the shard imbed itself into the poor tree.
She remains in her spot until words were directed towards her. Eyes soften just a little to show her unpleasant tone to the action this ice demon had just done towards her. Her cloaks remained over her head and with ears back, the woman would only assume her species by scent for the time being. Her hand suddenly stretches forth, interestingly gripping the shard and unhinging it from its place. One would assume its intensity of being frigid, but it suddenly began to melt in her hand so suddenly. And with a strengthened grip, she crushes what was left of the hardened ice and opens her palm to blow away the small crystal shards into the air. As beautiful as the sight was, it was meant to prove a point.
"I find this to be a very impolite way of asking me for my personal information. Are all you full specied demons rude and unnecessarily violent?"
Her steel blue eyes describe her stone expression as her head simply turns to the woman as she steps out of the shadows completely. She gives the woman one look over before her head lowers with her eyes still narrowed upon her own.
"Since you directed my attention so rudely, I do not think I owe you any sort of answer to your question. And seeing as you're asking of my currency, asking politely will get you nothing either. I do not find it any way beneficiary to myself to tell you if I have money or not."
To make her point more stern and final, she slips her naginata very smoothly to the side and allows her cloak to reveal her right side. Although her bag was on her left, it could be slightly seen as she raises a brow to the woman.
"If you wish to continue to be a threat to me, I do hope your fighting skills are more sharper then your rude tongue."

The response Umiko was getting from the dog demon only made her smile widen, perhaps this would be more exciting then she thought and this seemed better than taking off her clothes for perverted humans and demons. The ice demon lowered her bow but only slightly just incase the mutt was going to attack. The ice demonessess eyes watched as the dog demon crushed her ice shard which only made her laugh heartily.
“It seems I have found abit of a spitfire.” Umiko spoke with a charming tone, no matter what situation she was in her vice still remained the same, whether it was an insult or battle cry. “Not all of us are, just the ones that need to make a living.” She cocked her head to the side and began to move to the side, her footsteps calculated correctly, her movements were almost silent but that was wasted now that she was in full view.
Umiko pulled down her mask, to show off her uninterested smile not, it seemed now that she was getting a little bored and contemplated about releasing another shard but instead decided against it. The reason why the ice demon was now revealing herself was because by the looks of this dog demon she didn’t seem like the type to enter brothels so her reputation wouldn’t be soiled so much though she wouldn’t explain herself.
“Now now, when do you ever get someone’s attention in the woods without being rude? And what I am asking for is very hard to get without the need of violence, but if you don’t have any money then I shall take from you what looks most valuable…and that sword of yours looks worth my time and that sack you are holding tickles my curiosity. “ Umiko smirked again her head cocked to the side.
The demons eyes moved to the sword that the mutt was clearly trying to show, it seemed this girl was willing to throw threats herself. Umiko was now deciding whether not she would continue or just let the girl go seeing as she was quite sure she would be able to take the dog demon she still didn’t want any cuts on her body, it wasn’t very attractive.
“I have to say a little exercise could do me some good.”. Umiko flippedback wardss into a tall branch and raised her bow, now three shards were placed by the string and all aimedto wardss the dog demons vital points, Umiko didn’t release, and even if she did she knew that the dog demon would move fast enough to dodge them.
“But If you hide away your weapon I will do the same. You have my word. ” Now Umiko was going to give her a choice, if she wanted to fight then she can but if she wanted to avoid violence that could be done as well. Umiko will see if this demon thought violence was truly unnecessary

"You need to learn the basic principles of wanting to avoid a fight," she retorted sharply, eyes narrowing to the woman as she moved to the side slowly, obviously trying not to provoke her to attacking as she did so. But at this particular moment, her weapon was pointed north instead of west which was where the woman was. Or at least it was until the woman moved south of her.
"There were plenty of ways to grab my attention, but I can only assume you do not know any better in doing so," she growls lowly. Holding her weapon behind her, the blade shining as she turn to regard the woman, she doesn't flinch as the woman back flips into a branch and points three more shards at her. This demon was obviously not too bright to do something she completely disregarded in her own sentences.
“You made the move first. My weapon is called a naginata... and you will feel its blade if you continue your threatening poses. You want me to withdraw my weapon? You best look at yourself and what you're doing this very moment. You withdraw yours and then I shall do so with mine. You are in no position to make such a request when you look as if you’ll attack me if I do withdraw my arms.”
She turns slowly to face the woman up in the tree branches, her blade pointed directly sideways of the ice demon. It was easy to assume she was cross as the woman points three ice shards at her head, chest, and abdomen. She had given plenty reason to have her Kokoro out since she’s already proven she would fire upon her if need be. She didn’t trust her as far as she could throw her, although she could probably throw her pretty far. She gave Urufu no reason to trust her words and therefore she would not believe them.
Suddenly gripping her staff more tightly, the blade glints brilliantly before suddenly bursting into flames. But not just any flames; blue fire licked the steal but did not burn it at all. The flames flickered off the sharp steal as Uru slowly pointed the blade towards the ice woman.
“I am merely copying what you have just done. Do you find my request to lay down your arms while having this pointed at you none threatening? Let this be a lesson then, because no simple minded person would withdraw their weapon when someone points their own at them,” she says with a stern tone, as if teaching the ice girl a new lesson like she was her teacher, “I am but a woman who seeks to coincide with humans and demons alike. I am a wandering artist who does her work for the sake of currency through each village. My weapons, my scrolls, and my belongings are all I have to carry with me. I’ve made a profession out of what I do. You are very foolish and arrogant to demand something I have worked hard for.”
Suddenly, she turns the blue flamed edge of her naginata away from the snow woman and waits to see what her actions would be given the circumstances. She was ready to go at her if need be. Her ice shards did seem sharp, but would they stand very well against fire would be the question she’d rather not have answered if they began to fight. But in this case, she was sure she would win any ways. This woman had nothing to lose if she lost the fight, but Uru had everything to lose so therefore she would be much more drastic in her fighting until her possessions were in safe means once more. This was her lively-hood at stake and this icy demon believes she would simply take it all away from her? She could hardly think the woman was that desperate to steal her belongings when she did not even know if she had anything or not worth of value to her in the first place. And… the woman could get very hurt before she would even see in the sac to begin with.
Although still cloaked, her eyes were easily seen angrily staring into the ice woman’s orbs. Her tail was almost wagging with excitement, but perhaps it was more in aggravation. Slowly, Urufu’s feet shift back as she prepares for the worst scenario to take place.
“Now, do you feel your curiosity is worth the risk? Because if you shoot at me one more time… I will defend myself. And If that means I have to fight and injure you so you cannot shoot me again... then so be it. Or... you can withdraw your bow and I will be on my way as if nothing had happened. It is your choice.”

Umiko knew the situation and agreed with the mutt’s words but that didn’t matter, the demoness was in a ‘all about me’ mood, so much so that she was doing things rashly. “I believe you have me figured out.” Umiko laughed, relaxing the muscles in her arms, she lowered her bow. “I guess im an all action Demon, but trust me I am not one to go back on my word.” She sat down upon the branch, swinging her legs back and forth.
Umiko’s icy eyes scanned over the dog demon, it seemed that she was really willing to fight for her possessions when most just threw their money at the ice demoness feet so it was a surprise to see someone retaliate, a nice surprise. “I guess I should owe you an apology…” Her head turned to the side and then she said nothing, she wasn’t going to apologise but just leave it at that, for now.
“I will not fight back because looking at your naginata and my mere bow it would seem that I am at a disadvantage.” Umiko sighed softly whilst pushing back her long hair away from her face. The demon jumped down from the branch, placing her bow into the holster on her back she began to walk towards the mutt, but stopped a few feet back just incase seeing as the blade was still drawn. Umiko shook her head towards the dog demon with a slight smirk. “I don’t demand, I just take.” she laughed but continued. “But I admire you for taking pride in your work so I am standing down.”
Umiko was willing to show kindness if the dog demon was going to accept it if not then this all would have been a waste of time and the next time this ice demon came across someone like this mutt she wouldn’t give a second thought about releasing an attack. It had been a few times that Umiko had let someone free mainly because the lack of funds or plain admiration.
“I withdraw.”

She watches her very carefully; every breath, every muscle movement, every blink was dually noted as she got a feel for the woman's actions and began to calculate what sort of movements she may make in the future seconds of their talk. Her muscles were on end and her tail was bristled for any form of threatening manner the ice demon would do next.
Surprisingly, even to Urufu, the woman lowered her bow. She turns her head slightly, scanning the woman’s expression for some form of trickery and now especially since the woman had removed her mask, and it was much easier to read the woman of her facial features. She watches the woman place her bow in one hand as she sat down upon the branch. Still wary in any case, she held her weapon out until she would completely withdraw it in its rightful place.
She steps back as the woman jumps from the branches, and finally slings her bow behind her back. Umiko seemed most uneasy given her own weapon was still out and looks at it momentarily to possibly asses what form of damage it could do to flesh if given the chance. But Urufu was not some mindless demon that sought out blood and bloodshed. She understood what the woman’s actions were by having her bow in a particular place of her body where it would take too long to un-sling it if the wolf hybrid should decide to attack any ways.
“… I understand your pride forbids you to say the words, but I accept them none the less. You are forgiven. Desperate times have caused many to do desperate things, so I do not condemn you for trying to survive in this unforgiving world.”
The woman’s words of a naginata against a bow were true, but Urufu couldn’t imagine that the ice demon’s bow would be her only attacking weapon if something should’ve happened. Uru was true to her word and as the woman spoke her withdrawal; the flames that licked the steel dispersed completely with few small flames that seem to disappear into the air. Urufu swung her Kokoro behind her, allowing the strap that held it in place to slide over her should once more, freeing her hand of it which meant she made peace with the woman before her.
“I feel I should tell you my word is as solid as the steel I wield also. But I suppose I should thank-you for showing me you have reason within you, she spoke softly, her eyes softening and with a simple pus of her hand to the top of her cloak, the hood fell off to allow the ice woman to view her features completely in respect to the woman taking her own mask off before, “You have saved us both the trouble of tending to possible wounds we might’ve inflicted upon one another. I should not assume that I would have left this area without some form of bleeding wounds upon me. You seem very able with a bow and aim.”
Her silver, blue lighted hair falls behind her and over her shoulders. Two dog-like ears quirk towards the ice woman, dipped in blue icing they flicker once and remain at perfect attention. Her steel blue irises seem to brighten in color as if that their truce had caused some brilliant change in Urufu’s demeanor. Perhaps the sign of a long tail slowly flicking behind her would give the ice demon a sense that she was more then a mere dog.
“The action is behind us and there has been no harm done of me or my personals so there is no need to hold it against you. I do appreciate your compliment of admiration but it is miss-placed. Not many would withdraw from a fight by mere show of force, but perhaps I shouldn’t be so rude to stick you in that category anymore. Although… I cannot say I condone in stealing from people weaker then yourself… but then again I am not the law so I can only enforce my opinion and nothing more.
But I would like to ask a simple question. May I at least know the name of my former-opponent before I am true to my word and move on?” [/blockquote]

Umiko relaxed as the dog demon’s blade returned to its normal state, but there was an inkling in her mind that this demon still didn’t trust her yet but then again it was only a hunch and Umiko wasn’t going to attack, not unless the situation called for it. “Ah and such an unforgiving world it is.” Umiko ignored the fact the dog demon had forgiven her, it was true that her pride got in the way some time but it never did cause that much of trouble. Umiko sighed heavily, pushing her hair back again. The wind today was a lot harsher than she thought.
The ice demon adjusted the strap that was around her chest for a more comfortable feel, though her icy pale blue eyes did not leave the dog demon, she studied her for a long moment, though she still couldn’t see a lot because of the hood she still could scan over her figure. Umiko took a step closer, her eyes flicked a blue flame for a quick second. “I do not doubt your word, and you are very welcome. “ Umiko bowed her head in a mock or sarcastic sort of way but however way it was meant it was entirely harmless.
The woman finally lowered her hood, Umiko’s eyes ran all over her, before smirking. “Aren’t you a pretty one.” The ice demon smiled almost cheekily before rubbing the back of her head. “Cute ears, so my assumption was right, A dog demon? Or perhaps wolf? Then again..” Umiko walked a little closer, letting herself eel the demons aura. “Both? “ Umiko wasn’t trying to prove anything she was stating the obvious really.
“You’d be surprised at just how man y people withdraw before even my bow is raised.” Umiko began with a slight smile but it quickly faded as she realized just how boring it was when that happened. “Stealing from the weaker is just nature honey, it’s a dog eat dog world out there. “ She shrugged before walking back a little towards tree in which she could lean on.
“My name is Umiko Satio, Part time thief and Entertainer, and you are? ”

Urufu’s eyes regard the woman with a softer tone as Umiko adjusted the strap to her bow. Uru’s feet shift as she glances momentarily to the large bow behind the woman before her eyes fall back to contact with the ice woman. The two seemed to connect briefly in some relations, but Urufu’s eyes did not falter to perhaps silently tell the woman she was not going to attack her unless she did so first.
She didn’t flinch or move back as the woman approaches her cautiously, as if she may very well strike out like some animal in a corner. A small smile creases her lips as she bows with sarcasm in her voice. She did not mind her humor at all and perhaps felt some fickle of humor from her joke… if she were so unrestrained to hold back her chuckles.
The flattering compliment to Urufu’s ears makes them perk up just a little more before they go back as if to avoid the attention that was short lived. She blinks and her ears perk right back up as the woman seems to try and assume her species. The woman seemed unable to get a perfect feel and she steps even closer to her. There was perhaps 5 feet of distance between them as the woman feels her aura.
“… I call myself a wolf hybrid… but you are correct. My father was a wolf and my mother was a dog,” she spoke softly, her demeanor saddens momentarily for her mother, but she shakes the memories off as she speaks to the woman, “Does that bother you?”
She raises a brow to the woman’s last comment and huffs for a moment. Seems the woman was justifying her beliefs when she had not challenged it at all. But if the woman wanted to be taught from an outsider’s point of view… who was she to ignore her want to learn from another standpoint?
“You seem to have your philosophies mixed up in some way or another. The universal truth is kill or be killed. Animals and demons do not steal currency from one another to provide food for themselves.”
Swinging her bag around to access its contents; Urufu pulls out two thick pieces of jerky-like meat. She beckons Umiko to catch the other piece and enjoy the small gift as Urufu bites just a little of her own. The meat would appear tough, but upon the first bite, blasts of spices and flavors would fill the mouth with a unique yet very satisfying taste
“My name is Urufu. I was given no last name to recall. I am but a humble wandering artist. And I thank-you for your compliments.”

Umiko stared at the wolf hybrid, she didn’t mind if it was making her uncomfortable, heck if Umiko was being stared at she’d take it as a compliment then again apart of her would wonder if something big and ugly was crawling across her face. The ice demon walked a little closer now, a little too close if people believed in personal space though Umiko didn’t, if a person wanted space they’d stay away from people.
It seemed that the other demon may have been intrigued by the compliment but it soon faded making the ice demon smirk innocently, perhaps she didn’t enjoy the attention. “Embrace your beauty.” she spoke as she twitched her nose with a smile, almost like a child. The expression faded into one more sultry, Umiko was attracted to men mostly but every so often if she found an attractive female she would take a chance to have some fun, but this was only a harmless flirt.
“Oh no, that doesn’t bother me at all.” Umiko leaned forward, giving the girl a wink before twirling around of her leather studded shoes. It was true Umiko was wearing all black but her shoes stood out the most, high and metal studded. Harsh looking but very feminine. “So, you know being half dog and half wolf do you go through heat? “ The ice demon laughed as a sign that it was merely a joke and it didn’t need to be answered.
“I don’t care much for what we should or shouldn’t do, I am my own demon and so I do as I please whether anybody gets hurt in the process. “ Umiko was straying away now, she didn’t like the subject too much, it made her brain hurt.
Before The ice demon thought of a wittier comeback she was brought back to reality but the scent of beef being thrown towards her direction. Catching it with ease she stared down at the snack a little hesitantly before ripping of a piece to pop in her mouth. “Not bad.”
“Well, Urufu, a wandering artist you say? Care to show me some of your work? And as for the compliments…”
Umiko walked much closer now, till practically her whole was pressed against hers, leaning forward slightly she moved her hand to the back of the dog demon, wrapping her fingers and sliding her palm down her tail. “You are very welcome. “

The woman was pressing into matters perhaps better left unsaid. But Uru felt the need to correct the woman incase she decided to commit thievery again. It was very likely she would, given the woman's almost stubborn aura. Urufu did not move away as Umiko stood eerily closer to her, but she felt no threatening matter was to become of it so she let it pass… for now at least. Seems the woman was aiming for something aside from her bag this time around.
The comment and the twitching nose made her furrow her brows for a response and a reason for the notion and sentence. This harmless fun was becoming more and more personal until the woman asks such a personal question of her sexuality. Perhaps it was because she was caught off guard or perhaps she would never be on guard… a light trace of red crosses her features as the woman gives her a rather heated and perhaps seductive expression.
“I do,” she spoke honestly, as if the question didn’t bother her at all. She wasn’t in-fertile so it stood to reason she would go through heat as any canine demon would. The interesting time during her heated occasion was better left unsaid just as Umiko had wanted really. The ice woman was becoming increasingly bold in her actions it seemed. A fluttering thought of flirtation made her actions more sensible… but perhaps the thought that the woman was flirting with her was miss-placed.
“I should think humility is one of my more happier attributes.,” she said with a stern tone. She accepted that perhaps she was a little attractive, but the woman spoke of beauty that didn’t seem to fit the artist’s point of view. Uru left the subject of what Umiko should be doing with her life alone. She did say she wasn’t here to lecture the ice woman after all. And so swiftly did the subject change did Umiko finally taste the meat in her hand, stating it as an ‘okay’ sort of snack, but it helped Urufu with her craving for meat. Then did the subject change again that the woman began to ask of her artistry. Urufu would’ve been happy to comply had the woman decided not to close the gap between them that their bodies pressed against one another. Urufu would admit to feeling a tad uncomfortable, but she was more focused on watching and feeling to see if her bag would be pilfered in this very moment.
Their faces were mere inches from one another as Umiko pressed into her bosom. Uru could freely admit the heated position they were now in and seemed to wait and wonder what the woman was doing in the first place. And then did she feel her cloak move beside her that she was about to catch the woman’s arm from doing something.
A sudden feeling overwhelmed Urufu that she yelped in a very soft and short manner. She understood where Umiko’s hand was. Her tail’s fur bristles under the sudden stimulation. Her body tenses and her ears stand upright for a brief second. Then a feeling of weakness washes over Uru that she finds herself slipping into the ice woman’s arms with a soft sigh. Ears droop down as if she were some form of canine getting just the right spot rubbed. Her body seemed drained of motion and more and more, Uru’s expression softens into somewhat of a pleased state of mind. Her entire being shivers in the ice demon’s arms. Uru… had really not wanted her weak point to be discovered so quickly at this stage. She just seemed to melt into Umiko’s embrace as the woman pets her obviously sensitive appendage. [/blockquote]

Umiko was surprised that Urufu answered her question which she only merely meant as a joke. The surprise quickly turned into an amused smile. Now all the images of dogs humping legs seemed to fill her mind. Damnit . It was true that this ice demon often had the weirdest of thoughts but at least this time it was kind of relevant. “Silly pup. “ The ice demon whispered, heck practically didn’t speak at all, she didn’t want the wolf hybrid to hear her just incase she felt offended.
The ice demon couldn’t really depict her exact age but she knew that she was possibly hundreds of years older, but yet this demon spoke wisely. Umiko was a little surprised as the wolf hybrid melted into her arms, the ice demon was more surprised that Urufu didn’t shoot back seeing as Umiko’s skin was much colder than any vampire’s. Umiko was practically a ice sculpture with the illusion of being human. Nothing more, nothing less.
Umiko sighed, her seductive side was slowly seeping away to her more motherly and protective, one that only came out when she was around the girls of the brothel. “Now now, it seems you have a weak spot.” Umiko couldn’t help but note that down in her mind just incase a battle occur between them one day or perhaps today if Umiko watched her tongue.
The ice demon slid her hand down the woman’s tail again before moving it slowly up the back of head and gently scratching the back of her wolf/dog ears. “I’ve always wanted a pet.’” Umiko joked softly, taking in the warmth that was emitting of Urufu, the ice demon could feel warmth but not a lot so whenever it did pass her she would hold onto it as long as she could.
Perhaps I should marry a fire demon. Umiko thought to herself, carelessly moving the subject away from the matter at hand. The wolf hybrid in her arms.

The cold embrace didn’t seem to very much phase the heated woman as the ice demon held her close. Urufu’s eyes nearly roll to the back of her head as her body strains to regain some feeling in them aside from stimulation. Perhaps her weak point was more of a pleasure center, but Urufu should not be counted as simple girl whose extra appendage could be used at her disadvantage. Although, her shivering limbs did seem to be working against her despite her want to get back on her own feet. Perhaps it was more then cold woman’s embrace that was giving her chills…
“Mmph,” was her response as the woman scratches behind her ears. Her body goes rigid and the cold finally seems to seep in beneath her clothes and into her skin. Her tail bristles and wags fervently as if excited. Her left foot seemed itching to scratch at the ground. No, she was not some human embodied dog waiting to be someone pet.
Slowly, Urufu regains her senses as the overwhelming feeling passes her briefly. She takes in a deep breath before she lifts her now shivering body from the ice woman. Her eyes seemed to narrow upon the ice demon as she side wobbles for a moment. Her body was still trying to regain its sense of balance. She knew the woman would note such a weakness of her tail and ears. Her ears go back as she narrows her attention fully on Umiko. She sighs before crossing her arms in a huffed sort of fashion. She closes her eyes and allows her once angered expression
“I will not pretend that what had just happened did not happen because… of my own weakness. But… I trust that you will disregard this to anyone else. I find myself in a rather awkward position of not wanting to have to track you down to keep my personal embarrassments hushed from the public.”
She gives herself one last shiver to get the cold front from Umiko’s grasp off and looks to her with a more… surreal tone. She seemed to still be trying to regain her composure until it seemed enough for her to unfold her arms and look into the ice woman’s eyes.
“… I would not mind showing you my artistry as long as you remain some form of friendly acquaintance to me. Umiko… I… apologize for my willingness to be petted. I feel it was… inappropriate for the both of us.”
She was already feeling the fluttering sensation in her stomach drift upward into her chest. This meeting had already turned around. A naginata against a bow was obviously a bad matchup and Umiko might’ve surely lost the fight. But now the woman had vital information on her weak point and it bothered her greatly to have herself exposed as she was.
“Umiko… I would appreciate your secrecy if at all possible.”

Umiko laughed lightly at the wolf hybrid who seemed to be meting in her arms at every simple touch or scratch. Though while she thought the act was cute, she did understand how foolish it was, she could easily strike down upon the demon now, breaking her neck or shooting an ice shard right into the side of her temple. Umiko wasn’t going to take up this advantage, Urufu seemed like a nice enough girl and perhaps taking her life would just seem like a waste, nothing to gain from.
The ice demon felt Urufu shift in her arms and so she relaxed letting the wolf demon leave them without any restraint. Umiko smiled at the angered expression that lay on the Urufu’s face, it just made this situation a lot more amusing. The ice demon laughed heartily as she tapped her bottom lip in a questionable manner. “Don’t worry wolf, your secret is safe with me”
Umiko walked a step back from the wolf hybrid to give her some space, though that moment was quite sweet and all around funny it still felt a little awkward, the only hugs Umiko ever got was from her girls at the manor and so her maternal instinct suddenly felt strong near Urufu, This annoyed the ice demon to an extent that she furrowed her brow towards Urufu.
Umiko noticed Urufu shiver, making her serious expression fade to a small laugh. “Sorry I might be slightly cold, beneath this layer of what seems to be skin is a block of ice “ The ice demon turned away for a second smiling lightly “How about you show me your work whilst I walk you too the village, a sign of good gesture.”
