Flowers were supposed to be a beautiful sight, but after seeing them for hundreds of years they lost some of their appeal. However, that didn't mean that they still weren't nice to look at. But at the moment, Yuna was definitely not looking at the flowers. Instead, she was running through a pattern dance with her sword, and had been doing so for the past hour.
It originally started when she had wanted to see if she could still do the basic sword patterns that she learned so long ago, and had practiced every day since. Until that is, she had Asuma. She had stopped training herself when she had the child, although earlier she could not think as to why. After all, she should stay in top form so that she could at least use sword fighting to protect her son.
Now she began the most challenging pattern she knew. Step forward, thrust, spin, thrust, jab, swirl, whip, turn left, repeat. She kept doing it, putting almost her entire concentration into the dance. However, the part of her consciousness that did not go into it kept track of Asuma and the surroundings.
The boy was asleep now, as it had long since turned dark -- she practiced by the light of the moon, not needing any more light than that. He lay a few yards away in the field of flowers, just far enough so that she would not disturb him if she was to make a wrong movement. She smiled slightly as she continued her routine.

Within his invisible barrier He stood just inches away from Asuma looking at Yuna train and it was funny to him as he looked down at the boy sound asleep he snickered kneeling down and dropping the barrier as he noticed the boy has been training soon he will take him place among kings. Looking back at Yuna in the moonlight swinging her blade he sees the blade shine in the light.
"Your form is off"
Walking towards Yuna putting the a barrier around Asuma as Naraku walks towards Yuna as a crystals appeared around him as they seem to come together to make a blade. Using his powers to make a blade holding it's tip to the ground.
"You expect to protect the boy with that nonsense"
Holding his blade up as if he was ready to fight.

Was he challenging her to a fight? This was just wonderful, she thought with a mental groan. She hadn't thought that he would show up here of all places. Breathing heavily she came to a full stop and stared at him through tired eyes. This was all too much. But it wasn't as though there was anything she could do. If she refused to fight him there was a very good chance that he would kill her for being too weak. And out of all the scenarios that played within her mind, that was the best one.
Raising her sword she took a basic stance as she narrowed her eyes. She knew that with Naraku there was no need to speak pointless pleasantries that had already been said before. Even if she was to say a greeting, what would it be? It wasn't as though she could say that she was happy to see him again. That would not even be remotely appropriate, considering the circumstances.
"I have protected him perfectly well so far, Naraku. Without the use of a blade."

Snickering touching his blade against hers he then thrusted the blade forward. Thinking back in the days he remembered that his name was to be feared but so was hers as he jumped back standing in no type of form just holding his blade.
"It's just a matter of time before he is too much to handle for even you"
The light of the moon hit Naraku as his blade glowed in light as it seems Naraku wanted to up the ante to see just how much Yuna can handle as the area around his blade warped.
"Fight me with everything you have Yuna to see if you still have the capabilities"

It wasn't as though she had planned on losing her powers. She felt her heart clench in her chest at his words. She already knew that she would one day be unable to handle their son, no matter how hard she tried. He didn't need to remind her that she had grown weak. She knew this, and was prepared for the worst. Still, she feared that the day when she would no longer be able to handle him was coming much too quickly.
But he was right. She was weak, at least without her powers. Would she be able to hold her own against Naraku? Especially now, after he was using his own powers to make this upcoming fight more challenging? Perhaps, if she played it very carefully. Slowly she raised her hair, her face a blank mask. She could not show him any weakness, especially not how tired she already was after having just been practicing.
Taking a step to the right she changed the grip on her sword handle, before lunging towards him, the tip of the blade raised higher than the rest of the sword.

Looking at the mask he watched her with intent knowing he didn't have to look at her face to feel her weakness. Reading her mind, holding his blade up as it pulses whipping his sword lunging forward to make both blades connect making electricity come out of his sword. Holding his place looking dead at her without showing emotion.
"Asuma will kill you he has your power as well as mine it's just a matter of time before he sees you as a threat and kills you"
Getting into her head he knew that Asuma would soon surpass her. Maybe with this it would help her tap into her dormant powers or find some place to get powers.
"You need to get power or Asuma will kill you then seek me out to further his power....then he will die and all that power he has will be mine......unless you gain power to control him"

Her eyes widened slightly, before hardening along with the rest of her face. This was too much. How could anyone be so cruel? It wasn't right, no matter what he seemed to think. He could not torment her into attempting to kill him--an act that would be nothing but foolhardy. But even so, if he thought that he could trick her into backing down, or whatever he had planned, it would not work.
"If you truly believe that Asuma will attempt to kill me, than you are extremely mistaken. I raised him well, Naraku. He would never kill me; unless I tell him to." And that, would only happen if she lost control of her powers--powers that she no longer even had access to.
What was she even doing, fighting him? It wasn't as though there was a point to it. Jumping back she lowered her blade as her expression softened. She knew that he couldn't help who he was, or how he lived his life, or how he treated her for that matter. After all, it was simply his nature, and the only ways he knew. People--especially not demons-- never changed easily. She didn't even want to try and change him.
"There is no need to read my mind. I am always completely honest with you, Naraku." She smiled faintly as she shrugged. "You know... not everything in life needs to be controlled... Sometimes there are better ways to live life or to get what you wish. I do not control Asuma. I never have, nor will I ever. I love him, and he knows that. That is enough." Her expression saddened. "You cannot live life without love, Naraku. No matter what you believe."

Lowering his blade only to make it shatter lifting his foot and Teleporting in front of Yuna with his arms around hearing her words. Lowering his head he whispers in her ear.
"I know you can't live without love that is one reason why I came back to life"
Softly kissing her cheek Naraku teleported again near Asuma and looked at him. Knowing that one day his power will grow too much for her and he will seek out Naraku but his other son Riku was training with Naraku and was training to fight and Absorb Asuma so Naraku can kill and absorb them both.
" The boy will need more training you can't train him in every way like I can.....I will soon introduce his brother Riku to you and Asuma make your way to my castle"
Naraku walked back over to Yuna and lifted her head with his hand and leaned in for another kiss to her lips.

She should have pushed him away, been disgusted by the very thought of kissing him; but she wasn't. His lips upon hers felt right--natural, though she knew that she should not feel this way. She couldn't just pretend that she felt nothing for him, and even if she could, she knew that no matter how hard she might try, her feelings would not be repressed.
She felt her eyes flutter shut as she returned his kiss, pressing her lips more firmly against his. Raising her hands she placed them against his chest lightly, as though she was afraid that if she did too much he would vanish--a fear that she knew would eventually become a reality. Good things never lasted forever, after all.
But that didn't mean that she couldn't just live in the moment. That was the final thought that passed through her mind before she completely lost herself in his kiss.

Leaning back he looked into her eyes as Time around them remained still using his powers to make the scene seem more intimate. As he gently moved his hand down her cheek he looked at her then at Asuma.
"Come to my Castle so Asuma can have a place to train and so you can be safe"
Naraku walked to Asuma and looked at him as he looked back at Yuna wanting her to be his queen but that decision was hers and hers alone. Nodding to her hoping that he has showed her a sign of his love he started to vanish leaving the area.

Unable to believe what had just transpired, Yuna stood frozen, her eyes glued to the spot where Naraku had been standing seconds before. She stayed perfectly still for what felt like hours, but was in fact only minutes--her hand was placed on her chest. The only thing that she could hear was the thudding of her own heart within her chest.
Finally she moved, stepping towards Asuma shakily. Sitting down next to the sleeping child she breathed a sigh, before lying back against the soft flowers. Perhaps she had been wrong about her earlier thoughts. There really was something magical about flowers. She smiled at her own thoughts and how ridiculous they were.
Turning her head she looked at Asuma's sleeping face and smiled once more. Once he awoke they could leave... and head for Naraku's castle.
