This night he had walked as a human. The man known as Wraith of the wind strode through what was once widely known as wolf territory. Not that he would have avoided it to begin with. He was a powerful...well...hybrid, as well as a demon slayer by trade. He did do his best, however, to conceal his current form. Indeed, he had done well so far. The night was nearly over, the half moon that held it's power over him was almost gone now.
He looked to the sky, peeking out from under the hood of his black cloak, which he kept tightly wrapped around him. He gazed at the few bright stars remaining in the sky. He could not help but smile then, always entranced by the beauty of the heavens. It had always been so, even during his days with the demon slayers.
He covered himself once more then, continuing to walk forward. It had been just a small while since he had returned to this world once more. Still, he never seemed to have much of a problem finding his way about the lands.

. Her mannor became more tense, more predatory. Her slow, stalking steps were silent as she made her way down the winding cliff path, toward the grassier areas below. Actually, the cliffs sort of reminded her of her former home, in the Northern Mountains-- though these seemed nothing less than tame compared to the steep drops and perilous paths she grew up on. It was nice though, to be on familiar ground. Her gaze never left the mortal as her quick feet picked a clear path to him-- it came second nature to her by now. And honestly, if she did lose her footing (which wasn't likely-- if you can learn to run across ice without falling, your balance could stand up to pretty much anything) a couple hundred foot drop probably wouldn't kill her. Bang her up pretty bad, yes, but not kill her. The crazy old lady waiting for her back at the caves, on the other hand, was a different story.... [/ul][/blockquote]

He continued to stride through the forest, unaware of Tsuzuki's approach at first, as the only way he would be able to tell was the sensing of her aura. She had yet come into range, however, so she was still unknown to him at that moment. This is not to say that he was unalert, not at all. For this was indeed dangerous territory for a human to traverse, even if this state only lasted for a night.
It was only a few moments after this that he noticed Tsuzuki's presence approaching him, very quickly at that. His mind raced for options then. Judging from her direction and speed, he'd say she was pursuing him. Though, if she was hostile to him he would only need wait for a few more moments, for the sun was about to rise. Once it reached the horizon and above the power the moon had over him would be gone, and once that happened he had nothing to fear. For, he would be a demon as well, albeit a strangely mixed one.
