Night fall was approaching as a small caravan was heading between villages through the wilderness. Near an old graveyard, Bandits begin quickly running out from behind the trees surrounding them, with weapons drawn, leaving no escape for those within the caravan. The ones on the caravan was a family . The family consisted of a father and two of his sons at age 23 and 17 that was slowly getting off the caravan. The bandits quickly drew there blades onto them ready incase a fight broke loose but only one was careless enough to challenge them the youngest went to draw his blade and fell as soon as his hand touch the hilt as the other impaled him.
The father scream out the boy’s name as it echoed out through the forest. But nothing they could of done to save him. As the other bandits was looting the wagon, a mysterious wind begin to blow as it seem to carry the voices of the dead. Everyone even the bandits felt the chill from it as a pale looking corpse rose seeming coming from the graveyard itself, move behind one of the bandits that watching the old man. The corpses eyes open and reach out slamming its claws through the bandit. The others yelled hearing the terrifying scream that came from him. The other bandits release all that they was doing and rush the man who appear to be nothing but a walking corpse. Yet wind gushed from around him with sharp blades ripping through them.
The man slowly steps towards him thankful to have been saved and his son avenged. “Thank you sir, You are nothing less then a hero.” The man smiles walking towards him before speaking back. “Hurray, but have such an ordeal you look a bit light headed.” he smirks as he was close enough he reaches over ripping the old man’s head right off his body. “Well this won’t do…” ”How dare you kill someone like that!” the son screamed out almost in tears as he reaches for his blade and ran toward the man slamming the blade through his chest. This where the man grabs the blade that is sticking through him and lightly whispers into the boy’s ear. “You cannot kill that is not within the living with such a weapon.” He quickly rips it out of him which instantly heal as if never happen before taking the boy’s own blade against him decapitating.

The screams brought an automatic reaction in the priestess. She was quick to react, her bow drawn, an arrow notched and taught. She rushed forward, hoping to save the people she heard screaming. She was ready for a fight, ready to defend with her life whoever strangers she came across. She rushed onto the road, seeing the caravan ahead but gasped as she realized she had been too late. The road was littered with bodies and blood stained the ground. Then her eyes moves up toward the still standing and moving person. She quickly put everything together, and her arrow was quickly aimed at the man.
But the more she looked she realized that wasn't even alive looking. More of a corpse. Making the priestess even more sure of herself as she pulled back the string even more. "Who are you?!" she yelled, demanding an answer as she kept the arrow aimed at him. This undead man...killed these people. For what purpose? She couldn't risk anything, she had to be ready to shoot.

“Look around you Priestess, this road is layered with those of a caravan and bandits, I did not kill all of these people. Though I did kill the survivors, once I killed off the bandits.” “Now when you ask who I am do you truly wish for my name or you more curious for what I am? As I, once human, am now a demon created by your kind. But I hold no grudge, for this so called curse as it is more of a blessing. Eternal Life and Power. For my name….Its been many years since I last used it…..what was it….” He smiles as he vanishes and reappears behind the girl, standing close to her and lightly whispers into her ear. “They called me Keith Valentine”
He said nothing more letting her have time and room to react in her own little way as he love nothing more then causing fear, women being his favorite sport. His body seem to have change and look more normal then it did before, yet kept his ghostly-pale skin, yet a smile broke through his face, as his gentle eyes seem to look upon her.

Kagome did not let her gaze fall from the suspicious man. She couldn't take the chance to look at dead bodies when she had to get rid of the culprit. This man gave her a bad feeling. Brown eyes narrowing in concentration, she was ready to release her bow, ready for a move he made. She gasped, he had moved too fast and in a blink of an eye he was gone.
The priestess didn't have time to look for him, she could feel his presence behind her, looming over her and whispering in her ear. She tensed, a shiver moving down her spine as she reacted. The girl turned her body, her elbow backward to ram him in the side, never letting go of her bow and arrow as she took a step away, quickly turning in his direction as she aimed and shot.

He once again faded from sight before instantly there before her his hand extending taking a hold of her head with his hand. “Why should I kill one that is suppose to be so pure, when I can give you true power.” He smiles as static rips through his arm and to her scalp pulling her memories as if letting her watch her life go by as he erased and sealed what he could from her before releasing her with his hand. His arm though from the action was sizzling as if it was burnt even steam flow from it.
“I sense I am not the first to attempt this, but how foolish to conquer your soul when you can just start from scratch.” He slightly smiles and laughs as he also witness her memories as he drain them from her. Now knowing that she truly had a family let alone with a hanyou.

Kagome gasped, eyes widening as he gripped onto her head. She didn't even get a chance to pull away. She screamed, feeling the pull on her skull and her memories. She didn't want to lose her memories! But by then it was too late and her scream was cut short, losing her breath in the shock as she dropped to the floor once he released her. She groaned, placing a hand to her head.
This didn't feel good, she didn't feel good. Her mind felt blank, didn't feel normal and natural anymore. "What...?" she began but stopped, closing her eyes. She felt so confused! Something was horribly wrong.

“To fall high from such a pedestal my dear, it just maybe worse then death, but then again, Maybe it is a forgiveness, to let you start again.” Keith smiles walking over to her as the voices blew once more through the wind this time in a mix between laughter and moans of pain. “I shall introduce a whole new lifestyle upon you…A new future where all the bodies that would lay at your feet would bring a smile to your face knowing that you was responsible.”
He gets up to his feet putting his finger to his chin as he is thinking lightly tapping it. “Then again…maybe I am thinking much to far ahead… might be more fun just to let it flow and see what this one does.” He smirks again turning back to her placing his hand onto her shoulder. “Those of your former life is gone, none came for you when you needed them, Only I am here.”
His hand begin glowing green as life-force of those he had killed and devoured gathered within him begin to flow into her body. Surrounding her soul with the demented dead and a stronger new will, which may give her a dark new start once she would awake, whether it works or not though would be a different story, but the souls of the dead still lingered within her. “Now lets go get you some better suited clothing and out of this ill-begotten things, What a distasteful young girl…but it is better then the normal Priestess Kimonos.” He said nothing mroe as he reaches down lifting her up into the air, and within his arms.

Kagome slowly tried to sit herself up, staring at him sin a daze. She tried to make sense of his words, looking around her and all the dead bodies around them. She couldn't remember how she got here. Or this man that was even talking to her. Starting again, a new lifestyle, a new future. So then...
Kagome's head was pounding and she was horribly confused and unable to know how to react to the circumstances and all that he was saying. She wanted to ask so many questions to what he was saying, but she wasn't sure how. She lost complete conciousness as she was bombarded with the darkness of his kills.

Dark, violet eyes watched from the darkness as this strange man who called himself 'Keith Valentine' sapped the young priestess's memories, and began to carry her away. This would not be permitted by the vampiric woman, who emerged from the trees.
"Put her down, Keith. Now. I will not permit you to ruin another life." She said, her voice layered with a mesmerizing tone, to try to manipulate him into doing as he was told. This girl had a very crucial prophecy, and Anea was not going to allow her to be whisked away with her memories gone by this monster. Some little voice inside her wondered if she should really be talking, being a blood-sucking immortal. But she pushed that voice back and growled at the murderer, flashing her fangs. She murmured a spell under her breath, a constricting spell that would paralyze Keith, unless he was more skilled at magic prevention than herself. But that was unlikely, seeing as she'd been a witch for thousands of years.

“It is far to late for you to do anything to save her. No matter if you take her from me and lead her to the other side of the world from me, My grip will still be on her, and my power will never fail, even if I would fall dead. That is the beauty of it for there is no true cure.” Keith smiles towards her but did not move. The wind around them pick up howling as the voices grew screaming in agony. The smell of death and decay begin to fill the air. “Now we are both beings that must feed upon humans to live, just my taste may….leave them for dead, But if that is how I must live why not have fun and enjoy it.”
Keith waits giving this new vampire time to do as she pleases before looking back down towards the girl he was now holding. “She will be much happier in my care, no more worrying of death, or those around them, when she is learning to live for herself, and the pleasure of killing,” His eyes move back meeting hers as they glared. “If I have my way she will surpass even any dark priestess.”

"Well you won't be having your way." She said, reinforcing the binding spell, before darting with the speed only a vampiress with many, many years of practice could muster. She appeared in front of Keith, and lifted Kagome from his arms, chanting under her breath, and quickly stepped away, glaring.
"You obviously have not heard of me, I suppose, when you say there is no true cure." She said quietly. "You shall see. She will remember. Her prophecy..." She trailed off, eyes growing distant for a moment before she snapped back to reality. Passing a hand over the raven-haired priestess's brow, she murmured some more, more words of the ancient language to wake her.
"She will be free," She muttered, watching Keith Valentine darkly.

“How dare you think of me so weakly….” Keith begins forcing himself to walk through her own binding reverting into a ghost-like form as he pass through it, but left his chest lightly sizzling from where the binding once was. “I did not just seal her memories away, I took them from here, which they can never be given back, I am not some fool to have my work undone. Besides would you take her from me even if she wants to stay, because without me removing those souls of the dead from her, her very own soul could darken, And the ones I could only seal, she will have to break through own her own, there is nothing you can do for her.”
Keith reaches down drawing a large slim blade out before him. He smiles as the scent of flesh and decay grew, and a new smell added to it, the smell of blood. It was a strong sense that could start many bloodlust in different creatures. “Now Awaken Girl, show us your true self, show them the evil powers you withhold.”

Blood...
The smell of blood was overpowering. The woman's body reacted, eyes flashing open, a tinge of red in the normally brown eyes. With conciousness came the pain of her body, the pure priestess power constantly colliding with the evil powers now in her body. She thrashed in the vampires' hold. Her aura thrashed outward, a darker color, no longer its bright light blue. She was able to squirm herself free, landing roughly but on the ground she twisted her leg around, jerking it outward in order to kick swipe the vampiress' feet. The closest opponent. Her eyes were narrowed in a glare with filled with malicious intent.

"BACK AWAY." Thundered the vampiress, her voice loud, clear as she whirled toward Keith, at the same time evading Kagome's attack. Her own blade appeared in her grip, and her eyes had turned a vicious red. She glared, her aura, a dark purple, glowing and flickering in its power.
"Do not come a step closer to me, Keith Valentine, Jikininki. And do not doubt my power; I possess much more then you do, you insolent whelp." She hissed, letting said aura flare brightly around her. Jezebel, her sword, glowed a white light, countering the darker one.
"I have lived three thousand and eight hundred years, three thousand more than you have. I have not lived this long to be demoted by a foolish little brat such as you." She raged, before spreading her arms out and beginning to loudly chant in a fast, low voice, her lyrics incoherent. Wind picked up around her, swirling and picking up dirt, lifting into the air and completing the twister she'd conjured. She sent it, along with a good amount of her own, unique power. Three black-armoured knights rose from the ground, swords drawn in a regal pose.
As the dirt settled, the three warriors came to life, swiping their swords through the air at Keith. Meanwhile, Anea had turned toward Kagome, murmuring more words, demanding her memories to return, demanding the ghosts and spirits leave her body and free her own. It might cause her slight pain, and a definite headache, but it would save her from the darkness. As her aura pulsed around her, the vampire-witch chanted, her voice low as she began circling the priestess.
Occasionally a familiar word, or name, rather, slipped from her lips; Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Kilala. The memories that included these people would be more inclined to return, to force out the ghouls. Inuyasha was the name most repeated. Kagome was more likely to remember the hanyou, since he was the one she loved.
