Ugh, this SUCKS.
The sides of the volcano were obsidian black, and it was hot as hell. You could see the heat rising from the rocks, from the molten rock below, into the air.
Sweat-soaked, white fur covered and ash, Tsuzuki and Yuki trudged upward. A swordsmith supposedly lived at the top, and that was what Zukki needed. Yuki seemed to be taking it a lot harder than Tsuzuki though. Zuki had the ice powers, but Yuki was still only a little puppy.
She yelped and sat down, panting hard. She gave Zukki a sad stare, begging her to stop.
Tsuzuki thought for a moment, then realized how she could get there much, much quicker....
Freeing her Youki, she made a quick transformation to her full demon form-- a large white wolf with pink and blue markings. She grabbed Yuki by the scruff of her neck and started bounding up the slope. Sure, the thick pelt made things a little warmer, but she would cover a lot more ground like this.
Shortly after she managed to pull herself to the top, breathing heavily. Dropping Yuki, she shifted back to her more humanoid state.
"Hello? Is anyone here?"

Kaji had been just lazily laying on her back, bored to death with nothing to do. She had just come back from her big hunt for the beautiful Ragen metal. It is a fossilized dragon demon, that had been pressurized through out time, it’s bones slowly being molted into a beautiful sleek metal.
It was her heart and joy, her ancestor defeated that dragon long ago. And now it had come to time that she could mine it, her eyes glowed in the dark dank cave to the side of the volcano peak. She always had a crazy streak for things that were made of metal, and wonderful crafted swords.
Listening to sounds of the crackle from the fires and lava spurting up from the volcano, it was nice and serene. Suddenly she had heard the sound of someone calling out, she would have gone out to meet the person. But she was to lazy to do something like that, being deeply resided in the cave, you could hardly see her so being the lazy fire demon that she was. She took a big deep breath and blew out a big fire that shot through the cave and out forming a dragon. Then it slowly died away, that should catch the person’s attention.

Tsuzuki nearly fell over when the flames shot out of a cave mouth in the very near distance.
"What the hell are you trying to do, kill me?!" Yuki was cowering behind her mistress, looking as pathetic as possible-- poor little pup.
Grumbling and cursing, Tsuzuki made her way over to the cave all the while trying to wipe the grime off her face with an equaly filthy hand-- all she succeded in doing was smearing it more on her face.. The stench of ash and sulfur was sickening, made fresh by the burst of flames. It stung her nose and eyes, but she'd have to suffer through it to get what she wanted.
Cautiously making her way into the cave, Tsuzuki stopped a few yards away from the fire demon. "I suppose you're the swordsmith. I require your services." Tsuzuki's face remianed emotionless for a minute, before breaking into a sly grin.
Yuki was waiting by the cave mouth, to afraid to go in-- Zuki left her there with instructions not to move.

As she sat crossed-legged awaiting the arrival of the demon, she kind of almost laughed at the demon’s position. She was covered in sulfur and grim from volcano. She smiled a bit, she could tell that the wolf couldn’t really properly see her in the darkness of her cave. She smiled letting her fangs show.
“Obviously you do, or other wise your just some crazy person climbing this volcano just for the fun of it.” She said with a laugh. Still sitting down she fingered the Ragen metal in her hands, stroking it. “And what do you require my services for, wolf.”

"Well, If you are the demon swordsmith, then it would be assumed that I need a weapon made."
Tsuzuki was annoyed by the fact that this fire demon was laughing at her, but supposed it must be quite a sight to see an albino wolf that looked more like she rolled down a mountain than climbled one.
"More specifically I need a Katana-- light, and something that allows me to use my elemental powers through it." Her voice had a bit of a lazy, bored tone to it, trying to mask her displeasure with her current enviroment.

“Hn…. That is quite the challenge considering it being the opposite of my element. But a challenge I can over come.” Looking down at the metal, she had realized that the Ragen metal was after all found deep in the artic up north. She smiled brightly as she had struck gold. Standing up she walked over to her work place. Setting the metal down on to the work bench she turned to Tsuzuki. “Before I forge this sword, you’ll have to give me a decent reason for me to forge this katana for you.”
She had know many sword smiths forging swords for the wrong people, using it as nothing but a petty object. She wants all her swords to be treated wit respect, considering all the work she puts into them. She pours her heart and soul into each and everyone of them. She isn’t just about to let people throw them around hacking uselessly and ending up having it broken. And she makes sure that her swords don’t break easily.

"Why do I want a sword?" Hm. I didn't think this'd be a test. "Self Defense, having a powerful weapon could be well to my advantage given my current situation. " She paused to think "I did some weapons training when I was younger, and I'd certainly like to improve on that..." She trailed off again. Why am I even humoring her? You Know why. You need a weapon. Wonderful. Conversing with myself.
At the mouth of the cave, Yuki could hear the conversation inside. Suddenly, the dark cave looked a whole lot more appealing than outside on the rim of the volcano. She was sure Tsuzuki wouldn't mind her disobeying orders given the situation.
Gathering her courage, Yuki darted into the cave following her nose to Tsuzuki.
"Ah Yukiko, come to join us have you?"

Kaji sighed to herself, nothing she expected from the wolf to answer. But she could tell that the wolf wasn’t going to leave without her katana. She did after all risk her life climbing this active volcano, despite her elemental disadvantage. Sighing again she picked up the Ragen metal carefully to look at it, then picked up another bluish metal that glimmered from the dancing fire.
“Such a fool hardy answer, do you really expect me just to make a sword for anyone, wolf.” she said with her back turned to Tsuzuki. Her eyes were narrowed and her lips in a thin line. “I put my heart and pride into my work. I went through a lot to be as I am today, so don’t think that I would just make a sword for you.”
Turning around to face Tsuzuki, Kaji’s face was stern and unreadable. She looked at Tsuzuki with hard stern eyes, she raised her head up high. “With such a petty reason.”

"Such a petty reason you say? Do you think I would have gone anywhere near this place if I didn't think I needed this sword made?" She was becomeing increasingly agitated with this woman. Her tail was begining to twitch. "I don't expect you to make a sword for just anyone. " From behind Tsuzuki, Yuki gave a loud bark. "And it took a lot just to get us up this damned volcano in one piece."
Crossing her arms, Tsuzuki look Kaji in the eye. "What kind of response are you looking for anyway? Some sort of heartfelt sob story? That your work is thier last chance for survival?"
Tsuzuki narrowed her eyes. She was tired, and in no mood to argue for once. Curse this place

Kaji just burst into laughter, her head shooting up even farther with her hands on her hips. That was the kind of reasons she was waiting for, she just couldn’t help it. Kaji just loved pulling their legs, it always brings laughter to her. Stopping for a while to wipe away a tear of laughter from her face, she bust a huge smile. She wouldn’t be surprised if mentally the wolf is calling her crazy, she’d been called that many times as well as old hag. Now being called loony is fine with her, but calling her old or any word like that she would punt them into the lava pits.
“Now that is the answer I was waiting for, and besides I was just pulling your leg.” She said with a smile, turning back to her work bench her face got serious. “But while I’m making your katana, you might as well as do some errands for me. It would help with the making of the blade.”

Tsuzuki pulled a Yuki and just stood there and stared. And people say I'm phsyco.
She unfolded her arms, letting one hand limply at her side while the other was placed on her hip. "Errands? Sure. What do you need now?"
She just hoped it wouldn't involve anything too firey. Flames+Ice=Disaster. One would have to go, and in this place it would surely be Zukki.
(sorry for shortness... *still has WB*)

Taking up the Ragen metal and the bluish metal she took a deep breath before blowing out hot steam of fire at them as they slowly turned red form the hotness of it all.
“Just some simple things really, down near the volcano there is a spring with ice cold water. A bucket full of it will do, then to the north there is a forest called the Ice Prison. Grab me the wood from the demon tree that resides there, it’s not that hard to miss.” she said as she looked intently at the metals as she put them in a pot letting them meld together. Taking a deep breath again she blew out more flames, making the liquid metals even hotter. Dipping her hand into the metal she cup some of the melted metals and brought up for her to see. She could see the metals mend together as the color mixed making a crude shade.
(that okay Zuki-san)

"Ice-- hehe, I can deal with that." Zuki smirked, sighing mentally. "Now, is there anything I should know about this demon tree? Will it try to eat me or some funny shit like that?" She quirked her eyebrow, looking at the swordsmith again. She woudn't put it past her to try to get Zuki killed before she even bothered with the sword. Maybe it was another test, or one of her jokes.
Yuki started to wag her tail at the mention of ice. Finally, some escape from this firey wasteland and into a much colder one.

“Oh I don’t think you’ll have a problem, dear.” she said with a smile, she took a breath back in and blew a steam of fire at the metals again. Watching the metals swirl together, her eyes gleamed at the sight. It truly will be a new master piece. “You should just watch out for it’s crystal,” was all the reply that came after words.
You see there is this crystal that resides on the middle of the tree demons trunk, that shoots out ice, ice creatures, barriers, and blizzards. But she would think that Tsuzuki would be just fine. Thinking it through, maybe the crystal would be a great conductor for the sword, Kaji’s eyes gleamed even more at the thought. This definitely would be a master piece.
“oh and maybe the crystal as well, it will make the sword more powerful.” She said with a grin, with her eyes gleaming in the light staring at the molten pool of the liquid metals.

"Okay. Water, wood and the crystal. All I need now is a bucket..." Glancing around the cavern, she spotted one in a corner. "I hope you don't mind if I use that one" She said, walking over to pick it up.
Shaking her hair from her face, she turned back around and headed for the exit. "I will return as soon as I can" She said, looking back at Kaji. "Yuki, come."
((I'm just going to type up a story for gathering the ingrediants and then return to this thread))
