History
Detailed Personal History:
The Yomotoshi clan was one of the greatest among demons and humans alike, each of it's members strong and with the foretold Sherinan, said to foresee the moves of an opponent. Ren, being one of four brothers and three sisters, making up a family of eight children. All girls had pink hair, all boys had black. The family was rich, and they lived in a large manor addressed as the Yomotoshi Manor. There, the eight children, the mother, the father, the grandparents, and two uncles stayed. It was when she was eighteen that her parents began looking for mates for her, each one another from a respected butterfly tribe. On one day, after they had nearly given up hope, she sat out in her garden, her long tresses billowing in the breeze as she braided a crown of wildflowers, enjoying the scent the lilacs, roses, and poppies put into her nostril. As she busied herself, a monarch butterfly fluttered to her attention. It placed itself upon a branch, and shifted into a handsome young man with brown hair that reached his neck. He had charming grey eyes, and he sat there, both watching each other intently. You could almost see the sparks fly.
They soon grew to know one another, Ren finding he belonged to the Fuaitto clan. His name was Fuaitto Kennesu. They grew to love each other, and as this feat was discovered by the parents of each tribe, they arranged a marriage. Now, you must understand how beautiful Ren looked on that fine day, in the long, white traditional gown, and how Kennesu handsomely waited as she walked down the aisle, in his red and black toga. They were happily wed that very spring night. About three months later, Ren became pregnant with the next heir to the clans, who would bear the next Sherinan. The couple was nervous, but still overjoyed. Nine months later, the little girl was born, named Yomotoshi Fuaitto Shizatsu. Her eyes resembled that of her father's, and her hair black like her mother's male siblings. And now, the couple were truly happy. When Ren once more had a child within her, Shiza found her Sherinan eyes. The next child, a son, was named Yomotoshi Fuaitto Dakku. He looked more like Ren's brothers, who had onyx eyes and ink-black hair.
The family of four lived in peace for a long time, until Shiza was eight and Dakku was seven. Then, all hell broke loose. Ren was separated from her lover and children, whisked away by those cursed the Night Raiders. They stole her away, taking her to a fort of some kind underground, where she was forced into slavery. The beautiful butterfly maiden was broken. She became lifeless, almost, living off scraps of leftover food and becoming weak for around nine years. Then, the best possible thing that could have happened, happened. Her saddened and enraged husband broke into the underground dungeon with several others from the family including her uncles and brothers, and they rescued her. Soon, the life she once had returned, and a year later she was happy again. No more did nightmares haunt her, nor the rising fear she'd be taken again, and be separated from Kennesu and Shiza and Dakku.
As time progressed, her children grew up and had kids of their own, and Ren had another son named Yomotoshi Fuaitto Sado. Then, they began to disappear. First Shiza's first child, a daughter, then Dakku's son. Then Shiza herself disappeared, and Kennesu. Dakku followed, and all Ren's other grandchildren, and finally Sado. Her beautiful green-eyed brown-haired newborn son, gone. It was the most terrible thing she'd ever gone through. Depression followed like a shadow, and she withdrew from the remnants of her family. Twenty four years later, she gave in, and finally accepted the fact her family was gone. She abandoned the mansion she lived in, that lie within the forest a bit south of a village, and returned to traveling, growing stronger and coming out of her agony. She became the cheerful girl everyone loved again. Memories remained, however she learned to accept them and start a new life.
