. Resisting the urge to kick her still sleeping mate, while the Tsuzuki splashed her face with water, a much nastier idea began to form. Snickering and grinning to herself, she quietly backed away from the bank, and darted off into the trees. Not before noticing though, that her hair looked and felt as if it had grown quite long-- she made a mental note to do something about that. And then the true epiphony came. Almost unable to stifle her delighted giggling, she came to a stop a few meters away from the opposite bank. She chose the shade of a large maple to begin her work-- casting a glance every once and a while to make sure the children were still asleep in the centre of the clearing-- and started to make it snow. Not a storm, no-- it was a controlled little flurry, contained within the bit of space infront of the demoness. She let it snow like that for quite a bit, until she felt she had enough material to work with. Then, taking Aisuga from it's sheath, she tilted her head, pulled her hair taught with her other hand, and just cut a few inches off the bottom. Taking a moment to swish her head back and forth to get a feel for the new cut, she set about the real work-- with hands as careful as an artists, she began to shape the snow into something humanoid-- or, rather, shaped like herself-- not to hard, considering most of this could be done mentally, with only actual contact needed to clean up a bit-- and did manage a very accurate model. (It did take a lot to resist temptation and not exchange her apples for Mizuki or Lyn like melons-- while he might not even notice the difference if she made her hair purple, he'd surely notice that). As she worked, she packed the hair she cut off into the snow.... When she was finished with the model, all that was needed was a little bit of youki to make it look lifelike, and animate it. Quite pleased with herself, Tsu then took another few minutes to work on the control-- and by the end, the snow doll moved like Zuki, sounded like her when speaking, and, thanks to the hair, even smelled like her. It crossed her mind breifly, why was she going through so much trouble just to piss Kouga off? It'd just end with more fighting, and it'd make them both even more miserable... yet she felt she had to. Taking her place in the tree, she closed her eyes, concentrated, and... good, it was working. The doll presented a very Zuki- like grin, and, mercifully, managed to jump the stream without falling in-- clumsily maybe, but the point was it didn't get wet. Tsuzuki had the doll kneel by her mate, stroke his head (it them occured to her how much colder the doll would be, but any warmer and she'd melt, it'd be hard enough to keep her together even in the cool spring sun), and mutter a good morning-- far to sweet and affectionate to be the real Tsuzuki. But she was going to screw with his mind a bit this morning-- she was quite bored, after all. [/ul][/blockquote]

Of all people, Airi was the most obvious to love a good prank. But Airi was not in a good mood, and a goddess in a bad mood was not a good thing. So as said goddess stormed through the trees, literally stormed through the forest, she didn't give a damn what she disrupted, be it a wolf demon and her tricks or a badger in its set. She glided gracefully over the ground, the stoic expression on her face angry and emotionless at the same times, sometimes flickering to fury. Her king silver hair drifted off behind her to be lost in the wind, thunder and lightning licking at her heels, rain thundering in the upturned world behind her.
"Bastards! They're all bastards!" She shouted, her snarl of a shout still managing to sound singsong and beautiful. She hated it. If she was angry, she wanted to sound angry! But no, all goddesses were perfect, beautiful, and had pretty voices that never sounded rough. This made Airi even angrier. Aside from the fact her request for a godsword was denied, now she was stuck with this innocent, lovely little voice that couldn't shout out her anger. So, since she was so pissed off, she didn't realize when her godly powers stirred up something close to a hurricane directly over a yourozoku, her mate, children, and snow clone.

The calm was nice, compared to the usual pack life. No mother, no stress... Honestly, without these occasional breaks from her life, Aya might have gone insane. And so far, that was close. The mountain was a shelter from her life, which she loved, but hated at the same time. Why was it that every time she tried to be of use to anyone at all, she was shut down? Hunting trips, scouting, checking borders... Every thing.
'Maybe Mother's talked everyone into keeping me from being happy... It would be just like her...' She thought, sighing angrily. She ran her hands through her hair, feeling the sudden cold wind. Wait... Why was it cold?

Ryuu walked up the mountain, still in his normal clothing, along with his familiars. He was currently smiling slightly as the soft rays of the sun beat his back, just like in Africa, although not as intense. His cold blue eyes actually had a tinge of warmth as he enjoyed this little quiet moment, which to him was just a short break before the real fun would begin.
His familiars were just walking, content that they just had a meal, so they stayed silent, and did not argue, as Ryuu looked to be actually enjoying himself in the scenery for once. He was usually brooding over what to do next, so this was a nice change of pace. Then they saw Ryuu's eyebrow raise as he looked in one direction.
Ryuu could feel the power of something divine and angry wash over an area, and he couldn't help but be curious. Why would a god or goddess be angry? This would bear investigation.... He quickened his pace as his face resumed his neutral looking, going to where the source of the disturbance was. The familiars, seeing this, hastened their pace as well.

When Kouga had fallen asleep there was a soft breeze gliding through the trees and the clearing they had taken over. The Sakura tree they rested under had been blurred and shadowed in the moonlight shining above them. Even when the fire went out, that Zuki had thrown a fit over him building, Kouga was wide awake and staring at the stars. His dark hues were glinting softly and his ears were taking in the soft snores of his children and even the grumbles Zuki let out as she slept.
But he didn't let his eyes leave the sky, he couldn't bring himself to, he loved the dark blue ocean about him, the sprinkling of stardust- Omg, my thoughts sound ghey... He couldn't help but think of Zuki everytime he had a thought, and everytime he could hear her bitchin' or complain' or calling him some name-
He sighed and lowered his eye lids, taking a small peek at the peaceful Zuki before her let his dreams take him somewhere else... Far away... Where Zuki was waiting to bitch at him again.
In the morning, however, he let his eyes stay shut. Even after his mate's aura left his side he refused to open his eyes. Instead he took in the early sun's rays and let out a soft sigh. This is the lif- A cold hand touched his forehead and immediately his eyes shot open.
"Z-Zuki!?" He sat up a bit and stared at his mate, chilled a bit from her touch. "Are you feeling okay?" Kouga raised a brow and took her cold hand in his, nearly freezing his own skin as he touched her. "Colder then normal, babe." He lowered his lids into a soft glare as he stared at Zuki, his hands dropping to his lap.
The degrees around them slowly went from Spring to Winter and Kouga's skin prickled in goosebumps. "What the-" He glanced up to see the clouds and wind pick up above them, already reaching forwards to push the clone against the tree and sheild the sleeping babes beside them.

She giggled and gave another incredibly un-zuki like smile. "Cold is probably a good thing for me, you know"Ignoring the fact that she was being pushed backwards, and totally oblivious to the fact that there was a storm brewing-- mostly because as a doll, she couldn't actually think for herself-- so instead the doll lunged forward into a glomp hug. When the first drops of rain began to fall, the doll didn't notice. Sheltered in her tree, Tsuzuki didn't notice either. Giggling to herself and trying not to fall, Tsuzuki was evily plotting her next move. Oh, so many options as to what she could make the clone do. So, so many options. When the rain started to fall harder, it didn't occur to Tsuzuki what was going to happen. The first few drops didn't do much to the clone. She couldn't feel it anyway-- she couldn't actually feel anything. So she just continued to smile stupidly and hug her creators mate... Even when she began to melt, falling apart into clumps of snow which then became a puddle... All over Kouga. Tsuzuki was a little annoyed about the clone... she had intended it to last longer... but still, it worked. What concerned her more though, was the odd aura that was coming with the storm... and two more scents coming close. [/ul][/blockquote]

The goddess ignored the auras too, so absorbed in her own anger, she was comepletely oblivious to the retards that were around her. She continued storming through the forest, wreaking hacov on every tree and every rock that caught her sight. Tornadoes swirled up from her heels as she walked, leaving a path of destruction in her wake. Her silver hair that billowed out in the wind formed massive thunderclouds that leapt into the sky and struck lightning down throughout the region, random earthquakes at every light touch of her toes. She was comepletely furious, and even more pissed off that the God of Trickery, Loki, hadn't even shown up. She had a tie in votes in the Realm of Gods, and if he'd been there, she probably could have won five to four. Next time that bastard showed up, he'd get a nice piece of her mind...

Such a problematic thing, humans. They killed nature to make room for themselves, oblivious of the pain they were causing. In all of her two thousand plus years, Tsubaki had never had such a severe hatred for any creatures. At least demons had the sense to use nature, instead of destroy it. However, the events that were unfolding were proving to be very interesting. Sleeping for so long, she had nearly sunk down roots to this mountain. That would be troublesome.
Shaking off the sleepy state of essence, she woke herself quickly. The trees were slightly worried about the strong power coming closer, but not enough to worry her. They worried when it rained. They worried when it was windy. Trees were like old humans- senile and whiny. Keeping herself hidden in her element, she watched with interest at the mortal beings that had come into her home. She heard a tree complaining loudly about being crowded, but dismissed it. Farther away, the trees were screaming, yowling for her help. But the power, the seemingly ancient being that was causing the chaos, didn't seem to care. She branched out some of her power to the trees in the area, dulling their pain as the bows snapped and the branched broke. There was only so much she could do, however.
~~~~ Aya kept moving foreward, until the rain started. In the beginning, she was slightly startled as she recognized the scent of a fellow wolf. Not one of her pack, but a wolf all the same. As it started to pour, she groaned unhappily, making a face.
When the lightning struck for the first time, she dove under a tree, shaking herslef to clear any water droplets. The tree sheltered her from most of the water, even though a few drops got through. She wondered again why it was cold, why the storm had come on so quickly, and who the other wolf was. She ticked off some possible explinations to the weirdness. Cold winds from even farther north, perhaps the ocean, had driven into the island and caused the storm. It made sense, from what she thought. And the moisture from the rain would cause a nice mist for her to play with, even in the pack caves.
As Ryuu got nearer, his hair started to get even spikier as the sheer amount of energy in the air had started reacting to it. In fact, his companions were already shivering badly, and despite his own attempts to stop it, his long, scaly black tail had started swaying around agitatedly as well, freeing itself from its normal position. As his breath started to appear in the cold, he started to get really concerned; the god/goddess must be really pissed off.
Ryuu then stopped running, and turned to his familiars. He said to them in an icy tone that was filled with command: "Guys, I want you to stay around the perimeter, and warn me if anyone comes close." The two nodded, actually feeling a bit guilty and relieved. They did not want to have to face that.
After Ryuu gave his order, he continued running even deeper into the forest inside the mountain, following the taste of energy in the air. When he got there, he saw a very beautiful woman with a neutral face, but with a very pissed off aura, and eyes. It as apparent from the fact that the rending winds and extreme cold, that she was the source.
Ryuu steeled himself for a moment, then he unsheathed Xie. He flared up as big as a heat aura as he could, trying to catch her attention. He was producing so much in fact, that he already activated his Fira armor. He stood there, wreathed in black and blue flames, waiting for her to notice the drastic change in temperature.
"Eh, Zuki let go." Kouga pushed against his freezing mate and cringed his lip in small snarl. Not to say he didn't enjoy having Zuki close to him, this just wasn't the best time for her usually cold demeanor to falter. "Seriously, babe, let go." He pushed against her again, trying to break free from her sudden love fest and move the kids closer to the tree branches and out of the rain. Dark grey clouds entered the clearing above him and blocked out the morning sun, shadows lept from the forest beside him and the hairs on the back of Kouga's neck raised.
There were strong aura's coming from several directions, and the scent of something foul raised in his mind. "Zuki, seriously, get the fu-" Teh rain picked up with the wind sending a wall of pouring water against them and the tree. So one moment Kouga was battling his wife off him and the next he was wearing her on his skirt. "Wh-What the phuck!" His eye grew wider and his mouth dropped open as he stared at the puddled remains of his wife. Omg! She was the Wicked Witch! I knew it!! A chill raced down the yourouzoku's spine and Kouga quickly broke from the fascination of his wet clothes and grabbed the children still dozing beside him. He quickly set the kids under a blanket of leaves and branches, pratically the only dry spot in the forest and covered them up with the light blanket they had. He used his senses to gaze about the forest around them before returning to the clearing and looking for his, obviously bored, mate. " Zuki!" His eyes were a bit squnited from the pouring rain and his headband had somehow disappeared, letting his long black hair frame and cover his face in the most annoying ways. He growled lightly before screaming her name once more, already wondering if Zuki had, in fact, melted in his lap.
Floating just above where Zuki hid, with honey brown wings and sharp talons, a certain God watched the male yourouzoku shelter his children and scream for another. Loki's dark eyes flashed a bright blue as a pang of pain raced through his head, but he focused and kept the insanity inside him at bay. For now anyways. He'd have to deal with his mind sooner or later, but his body was tingling that special way and he knew she was close. So, for the next few moments, Loki's bird form would hide amongst the leaves in the sakura tree and watch the others surround him. His love for her could wait. It had been for quite some time.[/blockquote]
Was her only response before dashing past him and jumping into the quickly rising water of the stream, to rise the mud off. And now of course, that she was totally soaked with cold water. "Want another hug dear?." Meanwhile, somewhere out in the middle of the forest, Kai was lost. Being lost on a mountain you had never even heard of before, in the middle of a huge rainstorm, was not at all fun. But that scent... It's so familiar.... [/ul][/blockquote]
"Oh yes dear, that's exactly what I want right now." Kouga's eyelid's fell over his dark orbs and slanted into a small, if not lazy, glare. He let out a huff and turned back towards the children, momentarily dismissing the curtain of black hair pasted against his cheeks and forehead. What I wouldn't give for just a day... He took a moment to glance upwards, a flash of red and orange catching his eye as a bird flew overhead. The torrent of water cascading from the sky had not let up at all, and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon. So the male yourouzoku puffed out his wet cheeks and let out another sigh of annoyance.
"Come on, Zuki. Don't need you getting si- Wait." He glanced over at his mate, splashing around the small creek like some deranged fish being cut off from it's water supply, and felt his brow raise in question. Hadn't she been sitting with the kids and him when the storm started? Did she not melt into a stream of water -that was still soaking into his skirt and undergarments-? Then how, in the world, was she now standing before him? "Zuki?" He stared down at her, a small scowl already fixing itself on his lips, "Is there something you want to tell me?"
Loki's small feathered body was starting to annoy him. Granted it was mostly the five guys rummaging through his head that was getting the best of him, but still, it didn't help that he was the size of a large mango.
Flying over the yourouzoku's he had been watching, Loki suddenly felt a warm tingle set fire to his stomach, his tiny bird stomach. And with a happy chirp he quickly zoomed towards the ground. She's here! His dark beady eyes scoured over the trail and trees before him, and a moment later he was standing tall above the bushes. A light purple aura surrounded him and cut the rain just short of touching him. His dark brown hair swayed over one eye, and his dark purple orbs flashed mischieviously along the path.
Little doe, little doe, can you hear my call...
"This is definitely not my week..." A young girl grumbled as she pulled the hood of her cloak tighter over her head. Brown eyes glared at the ground as the tears, she had been trying to hide earlier, mixed with the rain and dropped to the dirt path. First the house, then the village, now the freaking rain... What a Spring this has turned out to be. Kei's unwanted wolf ears peeked out from the hood, picking up the sounds of the forest around them. The pounding rain, the chirping birds, the talking... demons.
Kei's head flashed upwards as a voice reached her ears. A very familiar, very distinct voice. "Oh sweet flaming Gods..." The young woman quickly jumped into the trees, staying still behind one tree as she steadied her thundering heart. How can this day get any worse...?
Ryuu stared at the enraged goddess flatly. She didn't notice at all... Oh well, on to more drastic measures. He sheathed Feng Xie, and turned off the Fira Armor. Then, he walked to the goddess in the center of the storm, unmindful of the cold and of the fierce winds battering his form. He stopped right in front of her and crossed his arms and looked into her eyes.
'Hm... she looks like she's really out of it in rage....' He thought as he looked into the woman's furious eyes with his own piercing blue and silver ones. Seeing that her mind was currently focused on some slight, and that apparently she didn't notice him, he frowned as he crossed his arms.
He sighed to himself as he thought about what to do to get her to stop unleashing her anger on the forest. What would work? Hm... maybe if he poked her and asked her why she was rampaging? He blinked at the thought; it sounded silly... actually it sounded stupid, but he had nothing else that he could do.
He shrugged and then he poked her on the forehead and asked: "Hey miss? You all right? You seem very agitated?"
---
Fei looked around warily as his master commanded him to. The chill from the storm nearby made him smile a bit as it caressed his fur lightly. He looked to Wen and saw that he was thoroughly relaxing in the cold. It would figure; he was an ice demon wolf after all.
Meanwhile, Wen was enjoying the cold wind. Being in his element was absolutely fun! Even if he was just stuck to guard duty.... Suddenly, his nose flared as he detected a scent of something. It smelled like a... wolf demon. He turned to Fei and muttered:
"Looks like we get some action after all... I smell a demon." Fei kept his face neutral as he tensed; was this friend or foe...?
So distracted and infuriated was Airi, that she hardly even noticed it when some random dude came into her 'bubble'. But she did notice when he poked her in the forehead. She hated being poked. And now she was ticked off at two things; not getting her godsword, and getting poked in the forehead by some stupid, lesser demon who just happened to be all concerned about everyone's wellbeing because of the storm she ferociously whipped up. Her eyes narrowed and she hissed at him, her onyx eyes narrowed and enraged.
"No duh, captain obvious! If-you-ever-poke-me-again-I-will-unleash-the-nine-levels-of-hell-on-your-ass-so-shut-the-fuck-up-and-leave-me-alone!" She shrieked, speaking so quickly all her twenty-six words slurred into one in the last sentence. She huffed and flaunted past him, making sure that the thunder that leapt from her heels was aimed at him in particular. She then felt a presense; a very familiar one. She whirled, looking past Ryuu's head and on into the gale to see that a raven was soaring overhead, coming directly at her. She glanced at Ryuu and her eyes narrowed to slits. She wanted him to leave. She lowered her head and glared at him, the wolf gesture for 'go away'.
"Scram, kid, I have other issues to attend to. And they don't involve you." She snarled, her lips curling up at the corners to reveal her pearly white incisors, which had a sharp point, and combined with her godly strength, would easily rip through flesh. Maybe bone. She could certainly snap each of his legs into fragments if she wanted to; but she wasn't in the mood for blood or gore; he just wanted to have her tantrum. It was surprising how often these hurricane-like storms showed up around Japan; Airi was a very moody goddess.
Looking back to the sky, she watched and waited for Loki to land. She was going to have a word with him... but she knew that the winds slackened slightly when she saw him. She mentally kicked herself, and made the wind stronger then ever. A nearby sapling was tempted to tear from its roots and fly into another large oak.
She paused for a second-- she actualy had to think about this one. "Ohhh!"A smaller version of her evil little grin returned "Whats the matter sweetie, can't take a little joke?"Shaking herself like a wet dog, Tsu hopped out of the the stream and trotted back over to them him. "Besides. You know I won't get sick." She brushed past him with a wink and reached over to cuddle which ever one of the kids she could get her hands on first. "Love the hair, by the way. Wear it down more often-- guys might think I'm still single." Damn, she was feeling a little loopy. Maybe she really was going crazy. Crazy-er... She'd always been a little crazy to begin with.
Kai, on the otherhand, was feeling quite sober. He breached through the trees on the opposite side from where Tsuzuki and Kouga were standing-- though he recognized the scent, it took him a minute to pick Kouga out of the group. He wasn't facing him directaly, and he had never seen him with his hair down before-- they had only met breifly, really, a day or two when his brother had been kidnapped my Mouyomaru. Picking up his pace a little, Kai approached the group with a quizical look. "Kouga?"[/ul][/blockquote]
