The small fox had wondered far, from his icy home. He was already moving over this green landscape mostly looking for food. Yet as he raided through peoples belongings it became clear this fox was skilled, cause he would also take some valuables.
Before long he had retired and hide a small stash of gold and other things in a small back in a tree, as he was feasting on food that he had took from the people here. He was beginning to finish the last piece as he heard something stirring. The fox quickly bites the last mutton and runs into the bushes.
He could hear the sounds of approaching feet and figured it to be most likely one of the people he stole from, searching for their lost belongings. He begins to sneak out of the bushes leaving the bag behind as he runs off down part of the mountain with the mutton. He would return for the rest later.
As he was running down his small white ears twitch as he runs into another bush hearing more people. This time sounding more like just one, approaching. He was unsure where it was coming from, but he didn’t think this one was human, so he begin to wander back up the mountain hoping he wouldn’t be seen

A lumbering demon meandered through the forest, and it only occurred to him later that he wasn't alone, and that he was approaching a small, fluffy white fox that was trotting toward him as well. He began to walk a bit more stealthily, but then the fox took off back the way he'd came. Perhaps a decoy? But the demon did not live long enough to finish the thought, for a wickedly curved dagger buried itself in his flesh, killing him after he released a small gasp of agony. The beast was hideous, and as it fell to the ground, it became evident from the squared face and long cylinder of a snout that he was a boar demon.
I really had no interest in bounty hunting; but I'd passed through a village that wanted this one's head for thievery. Ironic, because an obviously more subtle and a much smaller thief was exactly the one she'd likely end up meeting in a few minutes. Meanwhile, the human was a little pink-haired five-year-old who had lost her pretty jewelled bracelet that her adoptive brother, Tek-kun, had bought and given to her. Looking troubled, she searched behind bushes and under rocks, her tinkling voice ringing out with such innocent lyrics. It seemed like she had an imaginary friend, however, she was actually talking to her silver, platinum and gold dagger, Zephyr. "Can you sense it yet, Zeffy?"
The little dagger gave a violent jerk. Tai stumbled, and glanced in the direction it had tugger her in. She let the blade guide her, and ended up standing in front of a hollow tree. Blinking, she glanced in a hole in the side. Then she gasped with delight. She saw a whole bunch of treasures, gold and jewellry and shiny things. But there was something even more delightful; her gemstone bracelet was in there! Gleefully dipping her hand in and snatching it up, she danced over to another tree with lowe branches, and bounced up into one after doing a little twirl. "Thank you Zeffy! You found it for me!" She said, and stared at her pretty little piece of jewellry, then slipped it around her wrist. It was a bit big for her, but it didn't stop her from simply adoring it.
"But I wonder about all those other things...? I wonder if they were missing too..." She pondered. It didn't occur to her young mind that they might be stolen. Fingering her little bracelet, she pondered for a few moments more on the other things, then shrugged, hopped off the branch, and danced back down the way she'd come from, going back to the demon slayer's village.
I, however, as that had unfolded, sliced off the head of the demon, returned to the village where the bounty was placed, and I had gotten paid a few hundred yen. With a satisfied purr and a pleasantly plump pocket, I whisked myself back to the place I had killed at, via the wind that I ruled over. I was the Queen of the Wind, and everyone better know it. I sat in a tree over the carcass within the minute, and watched as a pair of hyena demons(in animal form) who were lucky enough to find it as they fed. My sensitive nose picked up an even more interesting scent, snow fox demon, and then I whisked myself away again in a tongue of air that snaked across my path. In but a second, I'd arrived, standing next to the tiny, fluffy canine. I stared for a minute, before carefully attempting to lift him up by his scruff, before my eyes went heart-shaped. "KAWAII!!" I wailed. Then, I did my best to try to squeeze the little furball to death, glompsquishhuggling it and pretty much mauling the poor thing. I felt sorry for it, but he was so soft and fuzzy and cuuuuuuuttttteee...

The small fox begins to move through the bushes looking for away back to his treasure. He stops slightly smelling blood of the demon that made him turn back to begin with. He quickly moves faster, towards The tree moving in and out of sight. But once he reaches the tree, a human had the bag with in her hands. Yet she was not much bigger then he was within this form and yet here she was stealing back from him.
He held back his growl as he begins going through it. He watches her put one of the things within it onto her wrist as she seems too be talking to herself. He remains calm and at a distance as she begins speaking. Oddly it seem she puts the rest of the bag back. His ears perked up slightly intrigued that she would only take one out of the bag. He steps back and watches her from a distance as she then begins to run off.
She begins going back down the mountain, yet he follows her. He slightly jerks hearing a blade severed the head of the demon. He follows her from a great distance towards a village. The fox waits slowly outside in the nearby field never letting go of her smell. He gently lays under a tree. His eyes would remain open as he just watch the passing of beings. Before long the Girl carrying the head of the demon passes by him.
Before long he sees her heading back. Thinking the little girl wouldn’t be returning this new girl would have to due, now that she had the sound of gold clashing together on her. He only came back for the bracelet but This new price was much better after his troubles. He begins following her back up the same mountain not giving much thought of anything else other then receiving his dues. He watches her from a small bush as a hyenas demons begin approaching the dead demon from earlier. They had begin eating and feasting upon it. To him he found it sickening.
He slowly begins walking out of the bushes. Approaching her sight zone. To his surprise before he could look up and see her, so he could surprise her. She was missing. He was bout to turn as he seem to have been pounced. He remains quiet as she squeezed him so tight. He was having to fight the urge to not kill her, from strangling him.

Giggling feverishly, I continued to huggle the fluffy white fox, before I heard him think he was having a hard time trying not to kill me. At that, I laughed hysterically. Dropping him, and also remembering that he'd thought of stealing my gold, I placed a hand on the heavy canvas bag.
"One, little fox demon, I think it would not be you doing the killing. Two, you should not try to steal my money; I don't appreciate being robbed of hard-earned gold." I mewed cutely, but in a sly and sarcastic tone as well. I knew I was overconfident; I was probably the most cocky bitch you'd ever meet. I damn well thought I was all-powerful and couldn't die; demons were immortal unless physically killed. And I had to admit, I was powerful, with my telepathy. And I was old too; no spring chicken. I was over three hundred years old. Even though I only looked seventeen.
"I could tell you a lot about yourself, Arashi." I smirked, flashing him a fanged grin. Half dog demon I was. And the other half was wind. And as I said, I was Queen of the Wind. I certainly was beautiful and intelligent enough to be a queen.

He hops onto the ground and was about to make a pounce before she spoke. Revealing what he only thought. He slightly chuckled as he never really dealt with a Psychic, he did know how to clear his mind completely without thought and act on impulse alone.
Without even trying to block some thoughts at least let her have something from thoughts he was able to hide. “This child really thinks she’s everything.” He said coldly, as his redden eyes looking up at her. Of course it was unable to see clearly in fox form, but could almost feel his cold smirk as he looks up at her.
“And I assume you only know about me what others have heard in tales.” He knew right away, if he hid all his thoughts she would eventually, break through that wall, so giving her the thoughts he choose seem to be his only option. Since he was slightly unaware, of what info she got from him, before she revealed her secret. He was also unsure how well this would work and if she would later be able to beat him, yet after so many years of puzzles and mind games. He was willing to play.

She gave him a smirk even icier then his own, once more revealing her pointed, pearly canines.
"I have been sung of in ballads that reveal me as Queen of the Wind, and yarns have been spun of my adventures. I've ventured to every place imaginable in Japan, And there does not exist a being that can control the wind such as I. No, I have heard no tales of a red-eyed fox nor a silver-haired and golden-eyed kitsune. And to place yourself in such a story, you'd have to defeat me in combat." Her katana, Jetseiga, pulsed gently under her fingers, which had slipped to the hilt of the weapon subtlely as she spoke. Her wind-chime voice released a sing-song giggle, her laugh tinkling like tiny bells. Her own amber eyes flashed in an excited way, and she burrowed deeper into his mind, to learn things of him... when she was pushed out. Hmmm. Interesting. Not many had ever tried to barrier their thoughts before... It probably hadn't occurred to them that they could. She sharped her soul to be pointed like a needle, and tried to pierce the flimsy barrier that he'd created. Images and other things flash through her head, each time she probed his thoughts and all the thoughts he'd had before. Bits and pieces at a time, but eventually, she wove together an intricate weavery of his past and present.
"I see demons, now dead by your claw, who murdered your clan. Family, friends. I see your heart growing cold, a thick layer of frost drapng it when your kin needed your help the most. I see your learning of my worst enemy; Naraku. I see the Thunder Brothers, Hitan and Monten[sp?]. " She said, eyes closed as she concentrated. " And you wish to fight, but you have nothing to fight for..." She felt a wave of sorrow wash over her. It wasn't him; no, she felt sad that such a thing could happen to someone, and ice them so much that they could not find anyone that they could endear themself to. Syeira had been much like that after she believed she lost her siblings, but fueled by the fire of revenge, she had tried meekly to achieve revenge. She had indeed slaughtered Kagura, and Kanna was a domino effect. That had reigned in the passion to kill, and she had settled slightly. Afterwards, she had found someone she loved, but who she never got to commit to. They had vanished soon after meeting, but during that time, they had at least become friends. Sulking afterwards, Syeira soon found that her baby brother and sister were alive. They became the ones she fought for. Her heart had never become so cold and emotionless.[/blockquote]

Arashi was close to accepting her challenge, if just end her foolhardy ways. But he didn’t see a point. He could smell on her, that she was well over 500 years old, but to him still a child. He tilts his head to the side as he looks at her. ‘Of course you never have heard of me, I have been in hiding for way past your existence.’ He could help but slightly admire her for standing against him, when most didn’t dare. He figured it may of being gone for to long, but it still brought a small satisfaction, since the only other one to confront him was the big oaf……and Arashi just marked him as someone with issues.
She begin peeling into his head once more and Arashi listen where he learned quickly he shouldn’t have. Without even mentioning what he was trying so hard to hide not just from her, but from himself all these years. The remembering of that day and her invading his mind, made his own my find it. A low snarl begin emitting from him. Random thoughts and scenes of his tribe being killed, yet even during that time Arashi never wavered. He was a warrior, and seeing their death was something he could handle a thousand folds. He did of course seek revenge, until he was going the remains of their tribes home, before learning what he kept in the darkness.
His snarling towards he continue, as if he knew what was coming and did not want to see it, and yet her peering into him was making it play as if a movie within him. The scenes of him and one other of the fox demons came across learning quickly, that the daughter of their leader had return, and her body was ravaged. It was here, that Arashi heart froze, cause after so many years of living within this tribe, he had been her childhood friend, her personal protector, and of late it had become love.
Arashi did in deed have his revenge but his tribe not once enter his mind in doing so, he slaughtered them all in ways that demons would only imagine in nightmares. Only two of the sole survivor snow fox demons left for revenge, and Arashi came out alone. He may could of saved his friend but during the time. He never wished to help anyone.
For six thousand years he started hiding in the shadows. His heart freezing more by the day after him loosing Yukina. It was only when the Thunder brothers was killing off other fox demons, he came out. A few of the other foxes found him. It seem all had forgotten the great fox other then the foxes who seem to have kept his story alive.
He closes his eyes and shakes his head vigorously. He knew that if he couldn’t stop himself for thinking it, that means it was because she was seeing it too. At this point the was mixed with emotions. He wanted to kill her for reminding him, he just wanted to die for having to relive it, and countless others.
OOC: There since you can mind read you can have the much more.... um detailed background.

Syeira tilted her head as more things appeared in her head that belonged to him. Since she read thoughts, she knew how he was trying to exclude her from his own, and she knew how much she hurt both his pride and him. She removed herself from his mind, after she gained knowledge of another fox demon... a female, Yukina. With another sorrowful wave, she saw what had been between them. And suddenly, she did not want to fight.
"Does she have any remains? Any kind of bone, or urn or skeleton? Something with viable genetic material? Something big enough to slice my sword through?" She asked suddenly. Unsheathing her blade in a fluid, lithe moment, she lowered the tip so that it gently rested against the mossy forest floor, facing Arashi so that he could see the width of it. "A hair wouldn't do, but a leg bone, or perhaps a skull... A urn of ashes?"
She pondered aloud, looking at him, her angelic face serious and concentrated.

He turns his back to her, and look away. “This was over 6000 years ago, there is nothing left.” He walks over to a tree and lays down under it slightly curling into a ball as he tries to gather himself. His eyes close for a moment just wishing to be left alone at this point. ‘Why fight in this world, there nothing left to fight for.’ His eyes seem to tighten as he erases the memories of what happen. How he was known as the best within the fox demons, yet he could not do anything when he was actually needed, how can he help now.
He leaps up as he begins reverting back into his human form. His mind had grew still and all thoughts stop. Only one thought came through his head at the time. ‘If you ever dig into my thoughts again, I will kill you without hesitation.’ He know stood before her wearing white armor with details in black. It had a crest in the center of his chest of a fox head. His claws was much larger and longer then that of a dog demon.
His hair glisten behind him which was as white as his own fur. Along with his fox ears that lightly twitches over his head. Even how white fluffy tail remains behind him as he looks around. It has been ages since he last took on this form. Within his left hand he wielded a large masamune.

Syeira looked downcast as he said nothing remained. She looked at her feet, sheathing her sword slowly. He looked up at him sharply when he said there was nothing left. Her molten amber gaze showed him pity, but strangely a cruel hardness as well. But she did not comment. She rubbed her arm with her hand, more to smooth the goosebumps of a certain thought then cold, but kept her gaze locked with his, her lips drawn in a tight line. As he morphed, she watched, fascinated. The end result was... pretty damn nice. She shook her head and stepped up in front of him, glaring up into his eyes, her head tilted. She grinned coyly, and blinked.
"I do not fear you, Arashi. Whether you could kick my ass in combat or not. I'm not afraid." She purred, her airy voice just barely audible. She turned her back on him, stalking over to a nearby bush. She squatted down, and dug around a bit, before finding what she needed. She'd scented it earlier, and only now did she truly notice the venomous Nightshade flower. Bringing it up to her nose as she crouched there, she inhaled its sickly sweet scent. Storing it in a white purse at her hip, she dug around some more, and retrieved some chamomile, and from a different bush, some nettle. Being immune to poison and disease, the nettles did not sting her, nor pierce her skin, that however smooth, was still tougher than a human's.
"If you want, you can come with me to my small hut nearby and I'll make you some herbal tea," She mewed. It was strange; she was half dog demon, yet she acted much more like a cat than a canine. "It'll help your emotions calm a bit. I... have my mother's old recipe."
She continued, her voice gaining a flat note at mention of her mother. She sadly lowered her eyes back to the herbs she held, since she had looked at Arashi as she invited him to tea. She closed her eyes tightly, willing away the knot in her throat and the hot tears that sprang to and stung her eyes. After a moment, she reigned in her searing emotional pain, and looked up fiercely again, despite the trace of depression beath her defiance.

His face doesn’t alter as he listens to her. He couldn’t care if she was scared. It was not an empty threat, and he didn’t know if it was bravery or if she was just a fool. He then steps forward watching her lift the deadly plants. It was interesting to see since nightshade inhaling like she did could even kill some full blooded demons. And what the could be mixed with was even worse. But Arashi was had mixed most herbs, and made himself immune to such things.
He listens to her offer him for some tea. He slightly pondered why she would after trying to test him so much before. He didn’t care about the emotional stage he was more interest in his life before him now. He begins moving towards her as she looks back down at the herbs she carried .
He continues slowing to move towards her, as she seems to be distracted in her own mind to even notice him. She turns quickly away from him as he could smell the salt of her tears and sense the emotions flowing from her as he stood right behind her.
Her eyes turn and looks into his as she was trying hard to hide those feeling as he appears right before her less the a foot from her. “I will not hide from this world anymore.” His looks back at her blankly as he throws her over his shoulder not wishing to discuss it any more. He was quickly able to find the trail to her hut by following her smell.

With an upward jerk of her chin, Syeira let his arms sweep right through her transparent body. She had much more control over this ability of hers now, and could do it on a whim with little or no concentration. She refused to be mauled, however, and would not be caught slung over some kitsune's shoulder being escorted to her own hut. She knew where it was, and she didn't need carrying. With a sniffle she attempted to hide, she skipped in front of Arashi and attempted to feign a beaming smile. Some thoughts of her homemade tea and a fresh loaf of bread with some berries quickly changed the fakeness of her smile into genuine content, and she gracefully twirled as she skipped now, her feet barely touching the ground as she danced down the small path they'd stumbled upon to her tiny hut that she kept only when away from her siblings, Tai, and the demon slayers' village.
"This is it~!" She sang, nimbly darting inside the little house. The inside smelled good; of honeysuckle and lilacs and roses, mixed with a spicier scent of herbs. There was another scent too, one of fresh-baked bread. Alas, there was a loaf sitting, neatly sliced next to a cast-iron lamp. With a snap of Syeira's fingers, the lam lit up and made the place dance with shadows. It was then revealed that the room indeed was what it smelled as; filled with flowers and herbs, a cheery place in even the darkest of nights. Through the eastern wall was a door into Syeira's little bedroom, with another little lamp and a futon and several pillows and blankets. There was another small room next to it, which served as her closet for the few items of clothing she had, including a gift from her friend; a black and red spidersilk kimono. It would never rip or tear, for spidersilk was stronger then steel, and despite its elegance, it served as good armour.
Syeira was already bustling about, preparing hot water over the firepit and sticking the chamomile and nettle into the bottom of a crude clay teapot. She prepared two teacups, and when the water came to a boil, she filled the teapot with it. Dripping some fresh honey from an earthen pot into the brew as well, to soften up the bitterness, she the filled the cups. Then, she sat close to the fire and waited, whether it was for Arashi to enter and get his tea or for him to sit down, she didn't know. But as she sipped her tea, she pondered over the past, the present, and the future.

Arashi could smell the flowers before they approach which made it hard for him to pick up certain smells with so much happening all at once. Once he got closer though the scent of bread seem to mask over the flowers for the most part. But he never said anything following her.
She finally answers saying this was her hut but it was unneeded since it had her smell here. He goes in and begins to look around at the flowers and herbs as the lamp came on, making him slightly blink. He then turns back to her and away moving to the center of the room and took a seat.
He looks over the area before turning into what must be her sleeping quarters. He looks around abit before seeing the spidersilk. He went to open his mouth but stops and climbs to his feet walking towards it. He had been looking for some spidersilk for so long and would have just stole it if it was actually made properly. “Where did you find this?”

She glanced at him sharply over her tea, hearing his thoughts of theft. And seeing him nosing around in her bedroom didn't make her quite happy either. "Dude, seriously, get out of my room. Also, try to be more subtle when you're thinking about stealing something. And I got the spidersilk kimono from one of my friends - Eichi of the Shadows." She sounded cliche, like someone scorning their little brother for going through their stuff.
"If you want any spidersilk clothing, I could probably get a hold of some. I have many friends in high positions." She said, warily watching him as she took another sip. "Now sit down and drink the damn tea before it goes cold." She hissed, ears pricking. She was sorely tempted to go out and sit in a tree, for some reason. Wth a bat of her eyelashes, she continued watching the snow fox, imagining how cute he was as a puffball... and wished she could hugglesquish him again. She tried to imagine what would happen if she ran up and glomped him... probably a few injuries... but it might've been nice... and then Syeira quickly veered off that topic with a blush. No more men would her heart fall prey to. It had been hard enough to accept the fact the two she had loved were dead. She didn't want that happening again.

He turns back towards her but doesn’t move. “I wouldn’t of thought it so clearly if I was going to take it, Besides can you imagine me wearing this.” He begins walking back out as his white tail had at sometime begin to lightly wag, more in a swaying motion.
“I don’t mind to collect it myself, I am not use to people offering me things. Anyways not in a long time.” He lightly smirks as he takes the tea and sips onto it. He paid no mind to her as he finishes of the odd herbal tasting drink sitting it down.
Once his eyes move back towards her he catches her with a blush but says nothing. His attention was limited at the moment as he sat the tea down and props himself up as he goes to lay down. He lightly stretches almost like a fox showing how long he truly had avoided going into this form.
