The hunger gnawed at her stomach, made her crimson eyes burn brighter than the fires of hell. Made her lips curl back in a feral snarl, made her fangs tear out of her gums in place of her insicors. A low, hissing growl escaped her lips as she slunk forward, her body lithe as a jungle cat's. The woman didn't see her coming. Neither did the woman's husband, or their three children. Nor did anyone else in the village. Soon, there was no one left to surprise. Not a single shriek of terror had pierced the air, and not a single drop of blood hit the ground.
An eerie quiet had befallen the dead village. To some ignorant bastard, it might have seemed as if the village slept. In a way, it did, for each body was lain in it's own bed, carefully, the blankets draped over their shoulders. But they were not asleep. They were all dead, all drained. And yet the Bloodlust burned even brighter in the pit of the bloodsucker's stomach.
It burned, setting her veins on fire, her every thought befuddled and tangled and incoherent. She rocked in fetal position in the town's square, humming to herself a off-tune song, her head clasped in her hands. The fire wouldn't go away, and her thoughts wouldn't smooth out.
"Rock-a-by baby in the treetop... When the wind blows, the cradle will fall. Down comes the baby, Ba-athed in blood..."
The lyrics to her song were obviously demented and warped, much like her mind. Another figure slunk into the village, another set of bright red eyes. But he didn't feel hunger. He felt his stomach clenching in disgust. It seemed as if his sister had struck again. He snarled, letting a low wolf's howl rip through the air to warn the mad woman of his arrival. She heard it, but ignored it. She kept humming, even when her silver-haired kin knelt beside her and cradled her in his pale, uncovered arms. He sat crosslegged with her in his lap, rocking back and forth. He smoothed her blond hair from her face as the fire gradually faded and she slipped into a dark, silent, unmoving sleep.
"Hush-a-bye, my lovely child, Hush-a-bye, my lovely child... Hush, hush and go to sleep, Hush, hush and go to sleep... Sleep well, my lovely child, Sleep well, my lovely child..."
His low, husky voice would send tingles down any female's spine, any female's except his little sister's. He hugged her thin frame, pressing her against his cold, bare chest. "J'su ici, mon princesse, j'su ici." He murmured in French. It meant, 'I'm here, my princess, I'm here.'.

Death hung everywhere, yet there was hardly no scent of blood. That really got under Ash's skin. He was on the outskirts of the village, and picked up death even before he was close. He flexed his fingers slowly, thinking about what to do. Finally, with a sigh, walked into the village.
By the time he was passed the first couple of houses, he was getting extremely uneasy. He peaked into one of the huts, and was very surprised by what he saw: a family, all in bed, dead, and drained of blood. He made sure by cutting one of their arms with a knife. No crimson redness seeped from the new wound. He figured out that the one who did this was completely insane, and killed the rest of the village the same way, and there was a good chance that they were still in the village.
Ash pulled his hood up, mostly hiding his face. He set up his hidden blades under his forearm, making sure they were ready for a quick strike, and set one sword on his left hip, and the other one over his right shoulder. A number of knives adorned his body in sleeves of five, positioned around his body, shown, but hidden. With the look of an ancient assassin, and his clothes he now adorn created to hide his demon scent, he went to the center of town. While others would think him to be a wandering human, he was far from, but he would hold off showing himself as a demon, well, half.
He stuck to the center of the village, walking slightly hunched and knees bent, making him seem smaller and weaker. He stayed in the shadows when he came to the town square, watching the duo sit together. After a minute or so, he shown himself, walking closer, but stopped when there was much distance still between them. When he spoke, his voice was smoother and maybe a little darker than it normally was.
Who sent the village into its eternal sleep? [/sub]

The silver-haired male murmured softly to his half-sister, before slowly looking up, his crimson eyes flashing. "What does it matter...?" He said in a low, husky voice. His fangs glinted in the dim moonlight as he spoke, the tips beginning to emerge. He looked back down at Yukio. He stroked her hair absentmindedly, protectively.
"She didn't mean it... She couldn't help it..." He whispered, pressing his lips to her forehead. He carefully stood, carrying her with one arm under her knees and the other under her neck, and he turned to go toward a shadowed corner, turning his back to the strange man. He laid her down, her back propped up against a wall. He then turned to face the man, head bowed, hair covering his face, his shoulders hunched.
"You won't hurt her. You'll have to go through me first." He growled, a raspy sound emerging from his throat as his fang ripped out of his gums, his upper lip curling in a feral snarl. His skin was normally very pale, but now it turned to a snow-white color, and his claws lengthened as he raised them up in front of his face to show them off. [/size]

Ash's hidden gray eyes watched as the silvered-hair male moved the female away from the village square. His crimson eyes really threw him off. They weren't like other demons eyes, but different, and then what the male and female hit him like a brick. A small smile touched his lips as the male spoke about the female didn't purposely wipe out the village. What a load of bull.
Ah, I know what the both of you are: Creatures of the night, drinkers of blood. Spawn of hell and Satin himself. How could a human hope to kill you. I may be able to kill her if I distract you long enough, but That doesn't seem possible. Your are probably very fast and strong, able to easily kill someone, quickly, or very, very painfully. If I was to attack, vamp, you would do almost whatever it takes to save her, but their lies your very weakness.
Ash was still playing off being the weak human. He smiled at the Vampire male. He wasn't startled in the least at his little display. He kept himself very calm and still. He was aggressive and may attack first, provoked or not. Ash flexed his fingers, working the blood through them. His left arm was rapped up more than the right, like it was injured and had bandages on it. After a second, he was human-still; moving very slightly due to the new wind that started blowing.
So, are you going to kill me to feed yourself, or rip me to shreds. I wont be able to get away, and it looks as if you don't want to talk. [/sub]

Tobi walked into the silent village, barely able to hold a physical form together after such a long time without feeding. He wondered why there was no noise, even for this late hour. His body was on the verge of breaking apart, and it was not fun to be a puddle and wait for someone to step in close enough to eat them. A vast amount of water moved to Tobi's right hand and formed a mace where his forearm had been, the molecules moving closer to form ice as hard as steel. He smashed into a random house and searched it, creating a lot of noise as he dragged the mace around with him, being too weak to even reform his hand again. He came across several bodies in a bed, silent and unmoving.
Why hadn't these humans woken up? Tobi thought to himself as he moved closer to the bigger human, probably the husband. Tobi would've seen that the man and wife were dead, but he was focused on other things at the moment, like feeding. His body expanded and engulfed the entire bed, becoming more acidic with each second. Soon, the humans, and even their bed, were gone without a trace and Tobi stood tall in the empty room. His human form wasn't threatening, but atleast he could stand tall again. Tobi searched the rest of the house, along with a few neighboring houses, and fed well for the next few minutes. It was after his fourth break in that Tobi heard something. There were others.
He had noticed that the bodies were dead, but he didn't bother seeing how. But, when he fed, they still felt empty and he still felt hungry, like they were drained somehow. Tobi searched through the village some more, looking around a corner just in time to see several people fighting. Luckily, Tobi's body did not give off a scent, being made from water, or he would have been found out earlier before he could have fed. But, now he was at full strength, he could take them all and feed well. From his vantage point, atleast two were youkai. Looks like i get to feed on something more satisfying than a weak human. Tobi thought to himself.
OOC: i'm assuming this is taking place late at night(vampire, duh). but can someone clear this up for me, as it is kinda important for me to know if it's day, night, dusk, or dawn.

[Nighttime.]
Those blood-red eyes never blinked, never flickered with a trace of emotion, and otherwise, Eijiro did not move. He listened as the strange man spoke, as if he was baiting a trap... and that vampire part of him caught that. A hollow, dry chuckle echoed through the lifeless village as the silver-haired male laughed.
"Do you think I'm really that stupid, demon?" He asked, his husky voice tinged with amusement. He shifted, lowering his claws, though his hands flexed as well. "And don't call me or my sister a vampire." He said, smirking, his fangs entirely visible. Even for vampires, this would be intimidating. But Yukio and Eiji weren't vampires.
"We're werepyres." He growled, letting his form blur and shift, his bones crackling and his flesh gurgling as he shifted into something much more terrible than his vampire form. A massive, silver-furred beast stood in his place, now, with massive, bat-like wings protruding from its shoulder blades. A wolf-like face had emerged, and he was now easily eight feet tall, towering over the youkai.
Yukio's eyes opened slowly as she sat up. She heard her brother declare that they were werepyres, and shift into his werepyre form. She smirked, and, hidden by her brother's bulk, morphed in another form; that of a massive, golden wolfess. She growled, emerging from behind her brother, lips curled back in a snarl. It was then she heard crashing noises in the distance. Glancing at Eiji for his approval, she turned and dashed off into the night, still satisfied with a belly sloshy with blood. It was then that she skidded in front of Tobias, who looked well-fed himself.
Dancing back a few steps with a hiss -- since when did wolves hiss? -- she snapped at him warningly before whirling to warn her brother of another demon. Then, they both lifted their heads to howl soulfully and then, they vanished, but not by teleportation. They vanished by speed. [/size]

Ash turned around, drawing one of his swords. His hood fell off but didn't fall back, but rather around his neck. He was confused with the hissing, but it must have been about the other who came in. He had no smell whatsoever, which threw Ash off, but oh well.
Damn. Never heard of them. Looks like im in for a fun fight.
He jumped up, and landed on a building behind the new demon. His chain-bone ripped through his left sleeve. He listened very carefully to the two werepires, waiting for the strike. Once they stood still enough for him to see them again, he wouldn't loose them. The fight got to him, and his senses were rising in quality with every passing second. Finally, he acknowledge the one below him.
You help me, I'll help you. Sounds good?
He would rather have one person on his team than two on one on one, or even a three on one. He didn't feel like using all his energy. [/sub]

OOC: a heads up. i've had recent surgery(last tuesday) and my activity might be a bit weird, but it could remain the same. i don't know yet. they took out scar tissue from a previous surgery(and it burns like hell) and that has to grow back in now. i'll tell yall more when i know.
also, how do you instantly know Tobi's a youkai? and is a werepyre the thing from Underworld 2? i'm confused.
IC: Tobi was astonished that the wolf-vampire-thing found him, maybe it was accidental, but he did not show it. She was gone in the blink of an eye, not that he blinked, and another youkai showed up and spoke to him. Tobi heard a familiar voice in the back of his mind, wanting to feed. "Why settle for human corpses? This is a living, breathing youkai." Tobias spoke with bloodlust, but Tobi forced him away, back to the crevices of his mind. However, he found sense in his words. Since he fed on the fire elemental, he's felt much stronger, especially during the day. He would wait and see.
"Tell me, youkai," Tobi spoke normally, examining the man. "What is your name and what are you abilities?" Tobi had a theory about his absorbtion. If he fed on a strong youkai, he could absorb their power, like with the fire elemental. Tobias had already shown him that he could use the dragon's fire abilities well. During this, Tobi split his youki with another body of water and sent it after the two wolves. Even at half power, it would suffice for melee fighters. The young man slipt away from the original silently and chased after the wolves in the direction it guessed they had gone.
