Sometimes life just wasn't easy to live.
That was something that Amara was quickly discovering. First her entire family was killed, murdered by demons. Then she learned that they may not have really even been her parents... that her real parents may be some of the worst demons known to the world. Well, one of the worst demons anyway... one of her parents was -- is? she just wasn't sure -- a human. But.... Naraku being her father, and that woman... that priestess being her mother... it was just too far fetched. There was no way she would ever believe that.
Sighing, the young half-demon lowered herself further into the water in which she bathed. She had always found that having a soak in a hotspring could be really relaxing and healing...maybe it would work this time as well -- although she seriously doubted that a soak could help solve her problems.
Amara was vaguely aware of a rustling sound in the bushes near the spring, but she thought nothing of it. Probably just some animal... she thought lazily.

Nothing in nature seems any better than being where people like to call hotsprings. The warm water that can even sooth some of the tensest of people, when they arrive here. Yet for the most part it is also a place where perverts love to watch the girls enter the place, yet they know getting slap was just the beginning of things. While that happened some animals keep on running around the hotsprings, making noises that happen to run away from something or someone. This object was heading to the hotsprings itself, or other a young looking woman was heading there.
Jenski was her name, as she was walking through, her fists were clenched as she seemed very angry. "God damn it! Just when things had to get interesting someone bugs up. I need to relax." She made a heavy sigh, and she was a bit close tot he hotsrpings now, but she kind of noticed that she won't be alone in these hotsprings at all. But her focus was not at the hotsprings but then again she only stripped herself and almost went in before noticing someone. She was a bit surprised but she smiled slightly.
"Oh hello there..." And rather of asking she went in and lowered herself easily, partly looking at this woman. She made a sigh for the moment but she didn't really ask or say anything after her hello, wondering if this person would bother even talking to Jenski at this time.

Startled by the sound of a voice, Amara jerked forward, slipped on a moss covered stone and felt herself fall forward into the hot steaming water. A second later there was a tremendous splash. She pulled herself up not long after, a flush of embarrassment on her cheeks. How stupid of her... to do something so foolish. She was supposed to be a demon slayer... some demon slayer she was, with reflexes like this... After spending another few seconds trying to hide her embarrassment, she took a closer look at the person who had startled her.
Well, at least it wasn't a man. It wasn't as though she hated men--in fact she truly didn't. It was more that she just didn't want to have to deal with one at the moment. Men were always so... well, they were never very intelligent, she had found, and they were always either perverts, or tactless dunderheads.
"Hello," she replied softly, smiling sheepishly. "I'm sorry for my actions... you startled me. I thought I was alone out here." Amara brushed her long locks away from her face, where they had plastered themselves after her dip underwater. Sometimes having long hair was such a bother... she didn't know why she didn't cut it. Before Jenski even went in the water, it seems she was splashed by some water when the female was startled by Jenski, but she smiled anyhow. She was slightly getting better and not too damn pissed, but that was not going to happen so easily it would seem. But once she was in, it seems she was smiling a bit brighter as the person said hello to her. "Oh don't worry. I was thinking I would be alone when I was going to arrive here." She started to giggle but soon that stopped very soon, as she kind of looked away.
Very much Jenski was happy that this person was not a male, she was made at one from earlier so she wouldn't be too kind either way. And that would most likely to cause her to go berserk as well. But in Jenski's mind she was relived it was not a male only a female at this moment. For the time being Jenski moved her hair a little bit, yet at the same time she looked back to the person again. "Random curiosity but what reasons you are here? And um I am Jenski, what is your name?" She made a smile back still but she was randomly curious and that was all.

It seemed like this person was a good one--not like so many of the others that Amara had met... not like the people who had yelled at her, shunned her, even threw things at her, all because of what she was. It wasn't as though being a half-demon was her fault... she didn't plan it that way. She grew up amongst humans, and to be honest, all she had ever wanted was to be like them. To be a full human... too bad there was no way for that to actually happen.
"I'm Amara," she said quietly, her eyes fixed on the water. Something inside of her made her wish that she could simply melt into the water, to vanish... but again, that would never actually happen. She nibbled on her lower lip nervously, wondering if she should admit her reasons for her presence here. It wasn't as though they were too personal or anything. In fact, there really wasn't anything personal about them at all.
Smiling slightly she raised her gaze to meet Jenski's. "I've had a lot on my mind lately, and taking a bath in a hotspring usually helps me to sort through my thoughts."

Jenski was waiting for this person's answers, but she was being the patient one, because rushing was not something she does at all, definitely of what she loves to do when she meets males not suited for her. But for the moment but it seems she got one of the answers Jenski was looking for but that was nothing to much for her. She smiled when she her Amara's name, that did seem like a good name for her. But she said nothing at the moment, only she wanted Amara to speak or start something in this conversation that could end up in a complete halt.
Jenski looked at her for the moment, as she notices Amara looking at the water; alas she didn't attempt to ask what is really going on in that woman's mind. But soon it seems Amara answered, maybe a bit quiet but then again she didn't really look at Jenski, which didn't worry her at all, nor made her wonder either. "I see now. I guess our reasons seem similar, at least in theory. I wanted to cool off." Jenski smiled over what she said, but she was not too afraid of certain things, at the least. "This really helps me relax at least." From her mind Jenski was happy to be at the hotsprings but she was not sure what else could happen.

Amara nodded in understanding. She too had used hotsprings to 'cool off' in the past. Usually right after something really bad had happened and she had either become dreadfully anger. For once she wished that she was just trying to get over anger now. It would be so much simpler than trying to sort through everything that had happened to her. Although...perhaps not. Being angry never solved a thing, and even if she was here trying to cool off, she would still have her problems to deal with later.
...as she thought about it, Amara came to realize just how much baggage she really had. I'm a wreck, she thought wryly. She didn't used to be like this... she used to be normal...OK, so not exactly normal, but at least more normal than she was now. "Hotsprings are so good at helping to solve problems," she said at length, leaning back against the edge of the hotspring. She smiled and said, "and they're also good for relieving any built up tension and pain."

Jenski only looked at the woman, being a bit cautious not to the new person she met but outside of the bloody hotsprings. But for the moment she was letting it all go from jtsu being in the hotsprings; which was helping a whole lot for Jenski. But she was still open ears at this time, for she wanted to know if the conversation was even going to continue at all, but it seems it did for the moment. Though it was a bit lengthy for the moment, but Jenski didn't mind, having her smile becoming much brighter than before. "Yes, it most certainly does."
But for the time being it seems she heard something but she didn't look like she noticed it, but she knows something was moving. "Could have been an animal. Oh well if it was a male they might have second thoughts of coming over here." Jenski was in guard on this noise but she let herself become relaxed, as something was moving, only it was a lot quieter this time. A smirk came from outside the hotsprings, a male being a pervert, not knowing what these girls can really do. But Jenski sighed and had her battle axe close to her in the first place, making sure this won't happen to often. At least close on the ground not in the water itself.
OOC: XD yep had to see this coming just a random npc!

{ooc: lol I love random npcs. ^^}
Amara heard another faint rustling in the brush and wondered if it was someone else. When she heard it again, but quieter, she assumed it was probably just some small animal that got caught in a hole or something. She would have let it drop, had her nose not picked up the smell of a human. She tensed, and tried to get a better whiff of it, but found that now all she could smell was the faintly scented water from the spring.
...just great.... Narrowing her eyes she continued to stare at the bushes. "Jenski, what would you do if you caught a pervert while you were bathing?" she asked curiously, although if she were to be honest, she could really care less about the answer. If her hunch was right a man was watching them bathe... and if the two women were lucky, they could make him stop and leave without having to punish him--although punishing him did seem like a good prospet. For the moment Jenski wasn't going to ask about if there was a person even at the range of watching them bath in the hotsprings but she had her axe close enough to at leat grab it and possibly run at him without anything on. But for the moment she sighed and only looked around a bit, as she notices something unsual something of clothing. But she ignored it until Amara sad something or at least asked about if a pervert was there. "Normally I wouldn't care too much, I normally freak them out but..."
She stopped of what she said and quickly grabbed her ask as the male watches and becomes scared. Jenski didn't care if he swa her naked or not, as she soon had her axe high in the air. "As of right now I am not too happy. I will see that he runs before I gash out those eyes of his from his skull!" The male was freaked out as her axe was ready to slam the ground but instead she stopped suddenly when she was near the male. "Quake Assault!" Seconds later her axe swung left and then right.
After that, and nearly connecting to the male she flipped around and slammed her axe, making a fatal blow to him but also killing him when the stones flew and pierced him. Jenski got a little bloody from the body, but she sighed heavily only getting a little happier now, when she places back her axe and enters the water again. "Well that was...bloody. Though I may have over done it..." She made another sigh showing she was pretty pissed off, but for the moment they are not too worried of the male this moment or ever.
OOC: XD haha!

Amara felt a shiver go down her spine as she watched the other woman work. When she finished the half-demon shivered again. She now couldn't help but think that perhaps a man would have been preferable... she would have been watched, yes, but at least she wouldn't have had to view a blood fest. Jenski was obviously not as sane as she looked...
Either that or she was simply very angry. Amara thought that it was probably a combination of the two. A lump formed in her throat, and the sudden urge to flee became stronger and stronger. However, she remained where she was, not wanting to anger Jenski further by insulting her actions. So instead she only shook her head a bit. "Yes, you might have gone just a bit too far... was it really necessary to kill him?"

Jenski's anger may have not be let out, but that was a bit of the wrong approach even for Jenski to do as well. But rather that it seems that Jenski frightened the woman she just met, and she sighed only to look away now. "No I am sure it wasn't but... I guess I was fueled by so much anger...it clouded my judgment there." For the moment she had a strong urge to get up, get dressed and just suddenly leave, but she somehow did resist that urge at the moment. "Sorry for having to see that though."
However Jenski was still looking away from Amara, at the time she seemed very guilty for doing that. She sighed heavily again, but this time of a different emotion, like sadness or soemthing of that matter. "I wonder how this may end up." At the moment Jenski wasn't sure if she should just stay at the hotsprings or anything of that matter. "I wonder what she would say about this I mean Mara, I even wonder if she would stay near me. I couldn't blame her for moving off."

Now, was it just her imagination, or was Jenski staring at her? Amara shivered slightly, despite being submerged in hot water. She never did like people staring... it had always bothered her so much. She knew she shouldn't be so sensitive, but she couldn't help it. When you were neither a human, nor a demon, you just couldn't keep yourself from being watched by everyone, scrutinized, for something you had no control over.
Yes, that was something that she knew all too well. And yet the people of the village had accepted her so unconditionally. Perhaps she had somehow managed to use all of the good luck that had been given to her by finding that village. And now that they were all dead, there was no more good luck to help her. She mentally rolled her eyes at herself. If she heard someone else say what she was thinking, well... she would almost certainly think them quite insane.
Shaking her head she smiled faintly. "No, it's fine. I can understand losing your temper." It's happened to me so many times in the past, she thought. "No need to worry." {ooc: I'm sorry my posts have been kind of short... >.< I'll try to start writing longer ones...}

Jenski at this moment was not happy nor was she any more happier this time, having not only anger but guilt in her, for having to show her anger full show. Just killing a man and somewhat overdoing the kill was something that people doesn't like to see too often,, and Jenski can be something entirely different when she is pissed off. Only this time it might make things worse with talking to Amara, but Jenski won't even know at this time after having her focus come back to Amara but with a faint smile, at least try to make things more comfortable for not only Amara but for the both of them.
For the moment she heard what Amara said, even if Jenski pulled a faint smile to make things more comfortable, of what Amara said made her a bit happier now. In which her smile widened and she closed her eyes as if she was really getting happier now. "Oh thanks Amara. I guess I shouldn't worry to much." She soon looked at the ground with a big smile from what she tried and from what Amara said as well. "Is there any villages near the hotsprings Amara?" Jenski looked back but her question was in fact just out of the blue and she was randomly curious.
OOC: XD random question to end it

Amara shook her head, still smiling. "No you shouldn't worry so much. After all, worrying will never get you anywhere." Hypocrite, she thought, suddenly angry with herself. She was a complete hypocrite. Alright, so she spouted things like that, but did she really believe them? Well....yes, to a certain extent she did believe the things that she said out loud. But then, did she follow her own advice? No, hardly ever. She knew that she should, but she just couldn't seem to be able to do so. She always got so wrapped up in what she was doing, or thinking, that logic just seemed to vanish.
Luckily she was distracted enough from her own self-deprecation by Jenski's question. A village....near the hotsprings? She blinked once as she tried to remember. Yes, there had been a human village not too far away from her... Now that she thought about it, that was probably where that man who had been peeping came from before.... She cleared her throat, shaking her head quickly to banish that thought. She really didn't want to start to feel pity for him--that would complicate things far too much.
"Yes," she said, "there is a village not too far from here. I passed it on my way." Out of curiosity she continued, "Why do you ask?"
