Name: Kurayami Aisuryuu Oushou
Race: Dragon demon
Profession: Wanderer
Powers/Abilities:
Kurayami’s barrier is not permanent. It is powerful, but the barrier’s strength depends on Kurayami’s at the time it is erected. He doesn’t use it when he’s already used either Dragon Wave or Adamant Claws.
Dragon Wave and Adamant Claws are both physically draining to Kurayami. Dragon Wave leaves him fatigued after only a couple of uses in a day, while Adamant Claws wounds his digits every time he uses them. As a result, he uses these abilities only under dire circumstances.
Weapon name:
Appearance:
Teonikokuo is a wide-toothed saw-edged fullblade with a 6-foot-long chain attached to the hilt. Blades act as handguards on the front and sides of the weapon’s hilt.
Bure-dotousoumi is an elegant and thin fullblade with a crystal-accented basket hilt. Unlike Teonikokuo, this weapon is very simple.
Chisubeta Oushou is another thin fullblade. As Teonikokuo, it has saw-toothed edges on the blade; the teeth are on the top of the blade, and much smaller and more widely spaced than those of Teonikokuo. The hilt of the blade is fairly simple, with a dragon-head motif on the base of the blade and a few small tassels on the end of the hilt.
Power:
Teonikokuo is infused with the power of darkness. As a result, Kurayami is able to create a shadow-infused wave of energy functionally equivalent to Tetsusaiga’s Wind Scar.
Bure-dotousoumi is infused with the power of ice and water. This weapon is able to create large shards of ice, and it is also capable of creating a huge wall of ice.
Chisubeta Oushou is also infused with the power of darkness. Chisubeta Oushou is capable of creating a wave of shadow, and it’s also able to shroud the area around its wielder in shadow at their behest.
Limitations:
All three weapons can only be wielded by a demon or half-demon who is good at heart. Bure-dotousoumi and Teonikokuo were once limited to a specific breed of demon, but both were corrupted centuries ago by an ancient member of the Oushou clan and reworked to allow any demon or half-demon to wield them. The abilities of all three weapons are only available when they are transformed.
History:
Teonikokuo’s and Bure-dotousoumi’s histories have been lost to time. Chisubeta Oushou, however, was forged by the first patriarch of the Oushou clan as the weapon to protect the clan with. It’s power over shadow is strong, and it isn’t a corrupt force. The weapon was rarely used until it came into Kurayami’s possession, where he’s used it to protect himself on more than a few occasions.
Race: Dragon demon
Profession: Wanderer
Powers/Abilities:
- Heightened Physical Attributes: Kurayami is fast, agile, and strong, easily able to give a demon like Sesshomaru a run for his money.
- Barrier: He is capable of creating a barrier around himself and others near him.
- Frost Needles: He can channel his power over ice into his hair, freezing it solid and utilizing individual hairs as mid-range projectiles.
- Shadow Blades: He channels his power of shadow into his claws; the ability is functionally equivalent to Inuyasha’s Iron Reaver Soul Stealer, both in power and range.
- Adamant Claws: Again he uses his claws as the focus, channeling his power over metal into them; his claws extend out to a length of five inches, lending him a dangerous close-range offensive capability.
- Dragon Wave: He uses his mouth as a focus for his power over water; the attack is shot at high speed, impacting with incredible force even at long range.
- Dragon Cannon: This ability is limited to his full-demon form; as with Ryuukotsei, this ability is fired from the mouth. The attack is incredibly powerful, and seems to have no range limit.
