Detailed Personality Description:
Cunning and persuasive, Xaan has a foul temper when it is aroused. He gets freaked out by anything slimy or anything that looks like a spider. He takes pride in his plays, and is extremely enthusiastic when the situation calls for him to be. Sadistic and mad about his "puppet collection." Is sensitive when people talk about their face (ex: does my nose look big?) since his is basically the face of a skeleton w/ flesh on it still o.o . . . Like an actor, he can get into character and lie and cheat, or put on a sob story at any time.
But mainly he is sadistic and persuasive.

Detailed Personal History:
Xaan was born in the Feudal Era as a normal child, however he was cursed by a witch because his family disobeyed her demands to leave her territorry at once.
His hand was covered by thousands of markings which allow him to use others as puppets. =P Plus, his face was ripped off in the process, which is why he wears that strange mask.
After his childhood he basically travelled from town to town, doing what he could to make a living, starting out as working with bands of marauders, eventually becoming the ringleader of a few of them because of his persuasion. And his second option (when there was supposedly not enough to steal in a given village) was to put on a play that charmed a select few of the audience to join their crew.
But the reason why he despises Avalon is because when he requested the scribe to write one of his playwrights out, the former scribe rejected the offer, because with his psychic powers he could see that Xaan wanted to turn Poet into his puppet weapon. >.> i guess Avalon had better things to do other than be a mindless freak.
So. . . .that's his history for now, i guess.
