AWESOMENESS
A dark, dreary alley stands in front of you. You find yourself wondering if you're in the wrong place; surely an artist's bungalow isn't in this graffitied concrete hellhole. Hesitantly, you being walking, slowly, your shoulders hunched as you try to appear inconspicuous. From the shadows of the grey, narrow pathway you notice glowing, wolf-yellow eyes. The walls are nearly covered in random spray-painted writing, the only color in the otherwise hueless void.
You suddenly find yourself at a door; it's all a midnight black, and the paint is surprisingly unchipped. On the walls on either side, graffiti screams "THE RAVE!" in bright neon green. The paint, strangely, seems to glow- glow in the dark spraypaint? Nifty.
You reluctantly, yet curiously put your hand on the amethyst-studded silver door handle, and turn it to open it up to a net of glowing, brightly-colored beads in the doorway. Whatever artist lives here must like colorfulness.
Pushing aside the beads, you walk into a dark, yet plush room. It's lit in the soft light of a zillion glowsticks and all the furniture and the walls are all black, not counting the scattered glowsticks. Almost everything is extremely cushioned; from the three-inch thick carpet to the beanbag chairs and fluffy pillows piled everywhere. All the chairs are black leather that you simply sink into, and the stools at the built-in bar are all heavily padded.
Sitting behind the bar in a spaghetti-strap white dress with a charcoal-grey transparent sheet over it and a spiderweb patterned cloak on a massive pile of black, lime green, hot pink and bright orange pillows is a girl with mousy blond hair, bare feet, and dark, forest-green eyes. A few people who could best be described as emo, punk, grunge or Goth sit at the bar, drinking various alcoholic beverages and some even smoking a cigarette or two. A few bowls on the bar have random types of candy- Twizzlers, Skittles, Twix and Jolly Ranchers included.
As you examine the 'waitress' more, you notice her kohl-lined eyes and her pale skin, lush ruby-red lips, and the spiderweb tattoo at the corner of her right eye. She's holding two things-a sketchpad and a mechanical pencil, some colored pencils and an inking pen on a pillow next to her.
She looks up at you, tilts her head, and gives you a crooked grin. Even though the DJ is keeping the techno blaring, you can hear her sing-song voice clearly over it, though she doesn't seem to be yelling;
"You're here to request a picture? Or, perhaps, to see what I've already drawn?"
