Darkness covered the sky over her, had night truly fallen so soon? It was a same the day had gone on so quickly, she had barely accomplished anything at all. But it was ok, life allowed you a chance to try again, if, you were blessed to get another day. Praying silently, Sakuya closed her eyes as she sat herself beside one of the large trees around her.
Within the depths of a forest. Not the best place to lay your head, but it would due. After all, she found herself too tired to look for a village to stay the night. Nor did she have enough money to do so either. Perhaps she could try and gain funds tommorrow, if it came for her. Her adopted mother's blade was close to her chest, almost like a teddy bear is close to a child. Though she knew not the way of the warrior, she knew enough to defend herself from harm, which could possibly be near by.
Her eyes opened, who could dream with thoughts of death lingering? Pulling her traveling sack from behind her back, she reached inside to recieve her Ryuteki. The bamboo flute rested in her hands for a moment, then she slowly lifted it to her lips. Soon, a low pitched melody came from the instrument. It was steady, yet its tone gave off almost a sad tone. It expressed the words she dared not to speak to anyone. Her sadness, her anger, all her emotions could be felt through her music.
She continued to play under the light of the half moon, not thinking of the possible attention she could recieve, only to help her soul recover. Just as she had for the past month since leaving home. This was her cure to her diease.

Ryuu walked in the moonlight, basking in the rays of the half-moon. This time he was without his familiars, as he had left them at camp. They had been exhausted after he made them spar with each other after today's events. As Ryuu thought of the things that had happened when he had arrived in Japan, he could not help but chuckle. Not a month in these islands, and he had already met a lot of interesting beings, like that Tashamaru guy.
He trudged along, simply enjoying nature for once. Even though he liked chaos and battles, a little R and R was nice every now and then. The last time he had this time to himself... he was interrupted by a man called Lu Bu, which he was inwardly thankful for. That was how he had met one of his best human friends... even if they had already passed away. But that was the risk of interacting with humans... one had to be prepared for the eventuality of losing them all too soon. He sighed a bit, before creaking his neck and continued to walk.
Suddenly, he heard a sound. It was a wonderful melodic sound which sounded similar to the flutes in China and India. It seemed very depressing though... he had to know why. He followed the sound to its source with a smirk on his face,a nd after a while he had found his quarry.
It was a young human girl seated beneath a large tree. She looked to be 16 cycles old, and she was playing a strange flute which he had never seen before... it must have been a Japanese native instrument. Watching her curiously, he waited until she had finished her song, standing for all the world like a statue. When she was done, he opened his mouth and congratulated her.
He clapped politely. "That was a wonderful performance, madame."

For the moment there was nothing less than traveling without knowing where anything is at. In this bloody forest the person whomever was in here, without thinking of where he needed to be; sighed over wondering where he was bloody at. Though it was dark out, there was a light shining from the moon, that was full. He was a bit happy the moon was out, he kind of did like it.
However it seems Hailstormer was not sure if he was alone in this forest or not, but he didn't seem the type to care either. Yet he would like to be with some people; maybe for a little while, but not for too damn long. But his ears flickered for the moment, noticing there was music around.
"Someone is playing an instrument at the time. Wonder who could that be." He wasn't sure about how things were but for the moment he walked around, getting a bit closer and closer to where the source of the melody was at. Soon he arrived, but he slightly noticed a different person was around. He didn't say anything; only he waited for the woman to finish her melody.
Soon it seems she had stopped but really the new person Hailstormer now noticed happen to speak. He smiled and walked a little more where they can see him, not like Hailstormer actaully cared. "I have to agree that was wonderful." But for the moment he stops walking, only he waited for the others to really notice him.

(XD thanks for joining guys)
The melody continued, smoothing around her. She only stopped when she could hear the sounds of movement coming to her direction. It was slightly unnerving, but not even to cause her to panic. It was then that she heard the sound of applause coming from nearby, that was when she noticed Ryuu. Looking towards him, she blinked as she remained silent.
Had her music stood out so much to draw attention to her location? Perhaps next time, she would just remain silent. Another voice emerged from the darkness as well. But then, it appeared in the form of another new face. He also commented on her playing, something she rarely recieved from anyone. After all, usually her songs brought tears, not happiness.
Standing to her feet, Sakura did only what any person would do when recieving praise. She accepted it, gracefully bowing as she managed to let a small smile appear over her face." Thank you....", was all she said as she straighted herself back into a standing position, looking towards both men as best she could.

The night was beautiful, gorgous even and this demon was not about to waste it on sleeping or ignoring it. This demon was actually going to enjoy something for once....
A female voice sighed, she was leaning against her temporary hut home looking at the stars, she heard a soft sad melody coming from inside the forest, a human would have to strain their ears to find the sound but it was like she was standing right there with the person playing.
Akina blinked, reminding her of her own saddness, she quickly went inside and came back out with a black flute in her hand, she lifted it to her lips and began to play a soft note. She wanted to see if the person was either good or bad, but since she heard other voices her sigh echoed in the gorgous sky. Her form litterally disappeared as she ran into the forest, jumping off from tree to tree, she then slowed as she neared behind Hailstorm. She picked up the flute again and smirked to Sakura.
She played a soft depressing melody, her eyes caked in saddness, after she finished the song she looked up to Sakura and smiled.
"Your a wonderous flute player, I hope you don't mind me joining you three..." Anyone of them would probably notice her as the ex of Naraku, the Hanyou Spider Demon. And anyone might sense her saddness and her mourn over the lost of the only thing that kept her sanity alive. Riku, her son.

Ryuu turned his head to the side and blinked as he heard another male voice. It was a brown haired demon with slitted Carmine eyes who had remarked about the music. Strange... how could he not notice him arrive? It was probably the music that distracted him. She was a good flute player after all. He smirked and then he turned to the demon. On a closer inspection of his scent, he smelled that he was a wolf demon. Of course... the tail also gave it away....
He opened his mouth and was about to address the wolf demon when he heard another flute play. He promptly shut his mouth and listened to the sound. It was an even more mournful than the one the human girl played. He looked for the source, and after a few seconds, he found a black-haired woman with cold, empty slitted red eyes playing a black flute. He inspected her aura closely, as well as her scent.
He blinked; she was a spider demon. Oh well, none of his concern what type of demon she was. He waited until she had finished playing her flute, and saying something to the human girl. Then he turned to the spider demon and smiled and said:
"No, I do not mind at all. I have to ask though; why were both of your melodies so mournful, so sad?" Ryuu looked at the human girl as well for his question as his eyes twinkled in curiosity, waiting for an answer.

The music did stop once Hailstormer and the second male was about. But Hail did noticed that someone else walked by, which she was behind him before she showed herself. He was not sure what was really going on, but she did look sad, very much in depression of some sort. He can only guess that she has a void in her heart, something that could never be replaced. Hailstormer knows the feeling, someone important to him was passed away, but he didn't think long once he looked to the others.
For the time being, he paid little attention to why their music was sad and sorrowful, yet he did see the hints, only he was being obvious on purpose to a point that is. "Two flute players, both melodies only having the hint of sorrow. Maybe I came here at a bad time." At the time Hailsotrmer scanned both women, only a quick glance so he can tell what race they are. He had the scent from the first woman, who Hailstormer was attracted by music. He knows that she was human but the second; he had a hard time a little bit.
But the woman who walked in front of Hailstormer said if she was not a bother to anyone. "No you are not. You are fine to be here." He made a light smile for the time being, still thinking of why she was depressed. Though the thoughts went away when the male that Hail does not know asked about their melodies. With his carmine eyes, he watched not only the male but the females as best as he could. He didn't ask anything else for the time being.

Sakura looked towards the new comer, unsure of what to say. After all, she had never truly seen a Hanyo Spider demon, nor did she think she would meet one who would compliment her own her music. Her face slowly turning red, the girl nodded quickly as she looked towards Akina.
"Thank you...but you truly are the better player. I have yet to emit such emotions into my melody. Though I attempt to try. You are most welcome to join this unexpected meeting", the girl said sofly as she then looked towards Ryuu.
He had asked why their melodies were so sad? She wasn't sure if she should answer. After all, one never wants to upset a possible friend. But then, no never wants to lie either. Holding a peaceful glance, she began to speak her answer.
"It is sad only because I wish it to be. For I play my Ryuteki as a source to remember my past and yet, to forget my past. Every life holds depression, mine I hold within my soul, for the sin I have comment is punished by my continued existence in this world..."
Her tone was serious, as if she truly did mean what she said. Sakura meant every word. It was because of her that she lost her family that day, so it was up to her to try and prevent such things from happening again. If that was even possible, how can anyone stop death?

Death was hard to stop but not impossible, Akina knew that when she felt her son's soul die. Akina's red eyes looked up to Ryuu's as she answered him.
"I felt within my heart my own son die at his father's hands, I've watched myself waste my life when I was a dog and wolf demon....." She trailed off, the emotions running deep within her voice. She sat down near the tree Sakura was against and began to play again.
The melody was very mournful yet again, but it gave some sort of peace; a pleasent sound that seemed to draw the things in the forest attention. Akina let one simple tears drop down the side of her face, only stopping for her hand to reach up and whip it away. There was no more tears after this one, she knew rage would replace it.
She just wouldn't let that happen.

"I see...." Ryuu trailed off. He honestly did not know what to say to them. He had faced the death of many a friend; heck he even had his 'family' die on him thousands of years ago. But he had moved on... knowing that his 'family' will always be there for him. Mastering the Hokuto and the Nanto martial arts, along with the becoming the last true heir to the Hokuto Shoke, made sure of that.
Ryuu's thoughts then went to his two demon familiars, Fei and Wen. They had died once, a long time ago.... They had died protecting him, along with Danava. Remembering that made his heart ache; it was his fault that they had died after all.... He was only able to repay their sacrifice by reviving them as his demon familiars.... As for Danava though, he couldn't revive him... and he regarded that as his ultimate failure.
Ryuu then felt Wen stir from his slumber over their link. However... it wasn't important; he probably just wanted to run around like he usually does when he wakes up at this time of the night....
Ryuu heard the Spider demon play again. This time he could actually see tears as she played her flute. The melody she played was truly sad, it almost made him crack a sad smile, as it brought back darker memories.... However, he just kept his face impassive. Sorrow must never be shown; it is a weakness he could not afford....

The area around Hailstormer, and possibly just about everyone was just sad. That was getting to his memories yes; but after to hold them and also going forward for so many years, it was not too hard to stop them from getting to his bloody head. Though he was a bit depressed, that couldn't have been stopped. While that was a bit of a problem, he still stood there a bit emotionless, at least just hiding a few emotions that he rather not have out.
He looked around and noticed the other male as he seemed a bit deep into the music, or that is what Hailstormer thought. While he was in a bit of a deep thought to himself, the spider demon again played, as he listens to the words that came out of the women's mouths. He didn't entirely know what the one at the log said, but he knew it had to be something about either her past or her emotions.
So he never dared to ask for a repeat, he let it all go as the second woman went on playing. He sighed under his breathe, but he still listens to the music knowing that it could get his darker side a little ticked from his memories.

Sakura listened as well, not speaking a word as her face remained calm. She was almost like a statue, her clothing blowing gently with the passing breeze, while her body remained still. Sad did indeed loom over all of them, perhaps it was her fault, but then, maybe this was a needed emotion to expression. Like happiness, sadness was an emotion. Though one that was rarely used, or wanted, it was still just that. An emotion, a feeling.
The fact that the people around her seemed to share in her feelings towards it, it made her feel less alone. A single tear slid down her cheek, causing her to raise her hand towards it. Feeling its wetness, she wiped her eye quickly, hoping that the others did not see it. She too couldn't afford to be seen as weak. Not when she herself traveled alone.
