She's slightly superstitious, and doesn't trust easily. Despite her flaws, she's actually just a big teddy bear on the inside. Eventually, you come to love her. She's trustworthy and loyal, outgoing, but sometimes timid about certain subjects. She's cunning as a fox, and uses wit instead of brawn to win her fights. She usually has some sort of rude remark to add to something, and talks quite a lot.

History
Detailed Personal History:
Opal-hime has had a long, and somewhat fretful life as the heiress to a well known shape-shifter clan. Her father was the baron, her mother the duchess. But several years ago, Opal, Jade, and Topaz all travelled to France and stayed for about a year. During that year, a plague swept over their part of the region of Japan, killing most of their family, including their parents and two of their nursemaids from when they were young. Alas, when the three sisters returned, they found their parents' graves instead of smiling faces. Opal took it the hardest, hardly eating or sleeping for weeks on end. Finally, three years ago, she got over her loss. Now, she tends to most of the physical issues for her clan, like training the shape-shifters and discussing strategies should war break out with another clan - their relationship with the Fish tribe in the North is especially strained since a courtship was denied by their parents for Opal and the prince of the tribe.

Her hobbies include writing, reading, and composing poetry. Her skill at using a flute is unrivalled. Despite being small, she absoulutely hates small spaces. She'll constantly morph into smaller things so her settings appear bigger. She also likes taunting and bothering her two older sisters, Opal and Topaz. That's one hobby she'll never give up, even if she ends up hovering in mid air or being rained on. It's a sport she's created and mastered. Anyone who gets in her way or tries to irritate her sisters is an enemy right away unless they ask permission first.

History
Detailed Personal History:
Like her sisters, Jade ended up in a similar position. But being so blithe and young, it didn't effect her much. She buried her head in books and her own poems to escape Opal's wailing. She tended to some paperwork, and to the smaller animals like chickens and rabbits, sometimes the new foals in the stables. When her sister overcame her grief and began tending to the more physical jobs, Jade did all the paperwork daily, and some spy work and organization. But most of the time, she finishes early enough to contribute to a book she's writing, and write a few poems to add to the library.
