Snow Embrace [kohaku]

[shikyo]

In the forest the ground was covered in snow. The winds howled with the on coming threat of a storm. Mamoru and Shikyo crept along the tree lines in silence wanting no trouble, well mainly Shikyo who wished nothing more to avoid all physical fighting, how she hated it. Mamoru snorted looking back at Shikyo, who shivered and grip his fur tight. "It will be OK, I promise nothing will harm you." Shikyo grin weakly at Mamoru. "stop for a second I have to check the land first."

She jumped off his back and landed in the snow. "doesn't the storm mess with your foresight?" Shikyo ignored him and howled a silent call as her eyes rolled back and her body went limp. Mamoru sniffed and sighed when his ears twitched. Mamoru slammed his body into Shikyo's pushing them both out of the attack.

Shikyo snapped out of her trace, looking up at the fallen tree. "Mamoru..."Shikyo pulled her legs to her body gathering herself up while Mamoru growled standing in front of shikyo. "This place is dangerous we have to get out of the storm, saw anything ahead?" Shikyo shivered, "no sorry Mamoru."

[Kohaku]

Kohaku wondered through the snow. It was dangerous here. Kohaku knew that.... but it couldn't stop him. He had another mission assigned to him. He knew Naraku had been very careful eyed lately. Kohaku couldn't afford to mess up this one.

Kohaku wondered farther up the mountain. That's when he heard the tree falling. Kohaku moved out of the way. He had nearly been crushed. If he hadn't been trained since he was a kid he probably would have. This storm was terrible ......

Kohaku got up slowly. The wind wiped at him. He was stronger than this he had died after all.. Nothing really affected him anymore. He saw the pair then. A girl and another thing with her. Who where they. Well Kohaku knew they were probably in a situation like him. After all they had probably almost got crushed too....

Kohaku moved into the wind. It was natural to stay out of it. It was to keep his scent and his positon to himself. Though Kohaku did this on purpose he wanted to them to realise he was there. He really didn't want to get into a fight at least not in this storm....

[shikyo]

Mamoru nostrils flared as a scent drifted the wind, he growled and looked to wear the scent was coming from. "Someone is here shikyo...human male," Shikyo looked herself,"human? In this storm, come Mamoru he might need help!" Shikyo raced passed Mamoru, "Calypso wait!" Mamoru struggled in the deep snow while shikyo almost seem to float across it.

She stopped seeing the weapon in the boy's hand. Mamoru settled on the side of Shikyo, growling; the fur on his back and shoulder's bristled. "Hush Mamoru," Mamoru growled deeps, "The boy has a weapon, and he smells funny." Shikyo sniffed herself,"yes, but we can't judge just yet, I believe his a demon slayer." Mamoru's eyes widen and lean forward, crouching down.

"The more reason to kill him." Unknown to Shikyo demon slayers' killed Mamoru's family before he took the job as guard. "No Mamoru! please boy why are you here?" The wind howled, "maybe we should take this to another place, settle down please Mamoru." Mamoru relaxed, but stayed close to shikyo ears perked high.

[Kohaku]

Kohaku watched as the demon instantly picked up his scent. Almost instantly the pair came over. Though the demon didn't look so happy to see him.... What had he done? Nothing....and he was already hated. The hole thing was fimiliar to Kohaku in some ways.

Kohaku stood still as the two approached. Though his weapon was still in his hands. It was just were it had been at the time. He had used it to dodge the tree. Kohaku could tell the demon didn't like him one bit but the girl seemed trusting.

Kohaku looked at the pair. He slowly put his weapon on his back. He didn't want to give the two the wrong idea. Though it felt wierd not having it in his hands. Kohaku didn't answer the girl at first. Though it seemed rude so he finally answered. "I am a demon slayer like the girl said. I am here on a very important thing I need to accomplish. If I disturbed you in any way I appologize. I feel bad if I made you uncomfortable." Kohaku said. He honestly did care about how they felt.

[shikyo]

Mamoru flinched thinking the boy was going to attack, but he relaxed seeing him put the weapon away."Of course I know you're a demon slayer I dealt with your kind before." Shikyo popped mamoru on the head, "See mamoru, he's no harm," Shikyo smiled sweetly and added, "No you didn't disturbed us in anyway, so there is no need to apologize for anything."

Shikyo looked passed the boy and grin as she pointed. "A cave! why didn't I see it before?!" Mamoru snorted, "Didn't I just say the weather messes with your foresight!" Shikyo looked down sad and pushed forward absently grabbing the boy's hand. "come on, what's your name?"

She smiled tugging his had a little letting him know that she wanted to go to the cave. Mamoru growled out of jealously, but shikyo took it as a angry expression. "Please Mamoru enough," Mamoru snorted in anger "I'll scout ahead."
