Detailed Personality Description
Toki is a quiet, antisocial person. She doesn’t get along well with others and tends to keep to herself. When forced into conversation she is awkward and somewhat bitter. Her temper is to be feared when she is annoyed, but otherwise Toki is docile and avoids conflict. To those rare few she would call friends Toki would be absolutely loyal.

Although she is over one hundred years old, Toki's still rather young for a yokai, as her appearance suggests. She is a bit naïve and doesn't understand violence for reasons other than hunting, etc. If she were to be part of a fight Toki would do her best to escape, rather than attack her opponent.

Toki's favorite things to do are nap and run. She ironically absolutely loves milk even though it's very cliché. Loud noises drive her crazy due to her enhanced hearing, and water (her elemental opposite) is her biggest weakness.

Toki has the appearance of a youthful human girl; she appears to be in her early teens. She does, however, have the ears and tail of a feline, which make her stand out quite a bit. They are a silvery white shade that matches her shoulder length hair. Her facial features are young and rounded, and Toki is fairly pale. Light, pinkish red eyes stand out of her light-colored features. Her figure is feminine but she’s still childish in looks. Toki’s movements are graceful and careful like those of a cat.

Toki wears light gray hakama pants with a white kimono top. On her feet she wears white tabi socks with black wooden geta sandals.

History

Detailed Personal History
{Neko Life}
Long before Toki became a bakeneko, she was born as a regular, normal cat. Her fur was white as snow and her eyes were a pinkish red. Toki was the name her feline mother gave her, though no human knew to call her that. A small child known as Hikki adopted Toki from the cat litter to live with Hikki and her family. Toki spent many years in that home going by the generic name of Koneko-chan. Eventually Hikki took up the family trade of herbalism and married. When she moved to her new home Toki was brought along, though she was by then old for a cat. Somehow, as if by magic, Toki lived as long as her owner, and when Hikki died Toki became a bakeneko.

{Bakeneko Life}
Toki the bakeneko was unaccustomed to living alone. Being a pet for her life as a cat, the feline was unsure of how to fend for herself at first. She traveled to a forested mountain and learned to take care of herself by force of necessity. After many years the bakeneko became a creature of solitude and found that she preferred being on her own. Her feline memories faded over time and Toki was left with a long life before her.

Eventually Toki left grew bored the mountains she called home. She decided to travel the lands and see what she might find.
