Strengths:
Weakness
Side: Evil
Detailed personality description: Cold-hearted and cruel to the very core of his being, Kuranos' first concern is for himself; every concern thereafter is also for himself. He hates humankind with a passion few have for anything, and he viciously slays them, hanyous, and all who associate with them. He holds no remorse for the deeds that he has done. He views all humankind to be inferior to humans and so particularly despises any human holding a position of power. He also believes that other demon tribes are inferior to the tribes of the wolf-demon and that he, as powerful as he is, is therefore better than all other wolf-demons. The only creature that he hates more than humans is his exiled daughter, Ookito, and he does all in his power to make her suffer. It is because of his hatred of her that he made one exception to his rule of slaughtering all hanyou, and secretly kept his grandson, Tensyn, alive, training him as an assassin in hopes that he might one day be the means to his daughter's destruction.
Appearance
Overall description: Tall and thin, with straight black hair that reaches down to his knees, Kuranos is a vicious wolf-demon with a hatred for humankind as strong as the impacting force of a meteorite. His eyes are crimson and glow fiercely when he is angry. He has sharp claws, long pointed fangs, and pale flesh. Dressing in a black shirt and pants, with a long crimson cloak and sash around his waist, he holds true to his nickname Lord Morte.
History
Detailed Personal History: Born to a powerful wolf-demon sire and a beautiful wolf-demon mother, Kuranos was the eldest of three siblings. Dominant almost since birth, he led his brother and sister around, them doing almost all that he asked. Kuranos did not share the same views as his parents; he thought that the humans in the village beneath their mountain den were useless in their weakness.
When he was seven years old, he killed his first human. The experience excited him, but his little sister was frightened by the ferocity with which he slaughtered the human. When she threatened to tell their parents, Kuranos' brother killed her. They blamed it upon the humans and so their parents, out of fear for their lives, forbid them from going near the town. But the two would slip away, thieves of lives, and gorge themselves upon the flesh of humankind.
The two wolf-demons grew up strong, Kuranos always dominant, and on Kuranos' twenty-third birthday, they killed their father. Their mother remained alive, passive to their actions, and Kuranos could not bring himself to kill her.
Kuranos mated with a lovely wolf-demon, their first litter being of five wolf-pups; three boys and two girls. The second oldest child, the oldest daughter, was named Ookito. Unlike her sister and brothers, Ookito's ears were like those of a wolf and she had a tail. Her eyes were silver, while her kin's eyes were the golden of a wolf's eyes. While the others looked like mixes between their mother and father, Ookito looked like her grandmother, Seraphi - the wolf-demon that Kuranos could not bear to slay.
Like her father had in his young age, Ookito did not hold the same views as her family. When she went against her father, her mother protected her, and it cost the woman her life. Her grandmother was also slain, and Ookito banished. Kuranos would not leave her to live in peace, however, and found her again when she married a human man and had a hanyou child. He killed the human, taking the child to raise as his own, training him as an assassin, though he told Ookito that he had young Tensyn slain.
Although he had shredded Ookito's spirit by his actions, he refused to let her live in peace. With his traitorous wife dead, he was forced to mate with other wolf-demons in order to build up the strength of his demon tribe, but the kin born from him since the exile of his daughter were weak, many of them dying shortly after birth. He blamed his wife and her powers, believing that her death had cursed him.
The wolf-demons that grew strong in his pack became a part of a group dedicated to hunting down Ookito and eventually slaying her. Wherever he went, Kuranos had at least two of his strong packmembers with him. Although he would never admit it, he feared his exiled daughter and her dark powers, almost as much as he hated her.
