Test tubes were EVERYWHERE you looked in this ash-covered basement. All corners of the room were filled with phials and beakers of acids, bases, and other foul-smelling liquids that were poisonous. Green, Yellow, Puce, were only some of the thousands of colors that ran amuck in the basement. The colors seemed to make the whole room look more like an art room full of paint supplies rather than chemicals that'd burn your nose off just by smelling them. A busy figure ran around in circles frantically, careful to avoid very possible collision with the beakers spread about on the tables in the basement. Holding his head, he tried to keep himself from throwing a fit in the very place where patience and soft movements were necessary to stop (MORE) explosions.
"DAMN IT! Where am I going to find that last ingredient?!?"
He gritted his teeth, wondering just what could be a sufficient replacement for the chemicals he needed. Noticing something out of the corner of his eye, he saw a phial filled to the brim with a red, fizzing substance. He gave a wry grin, took the liquid, and marched on over to his workstation, to see if this was something he could use to get the desired effect.
“Perfect, now for the final touch…”
As he loomed over the rather large concoction, fizzing and spitting vile toxins everywhere, he began to sweat up.
Wait…what if this DOESN’T work? What if it ends up like all of those other times?
No. THIS TIME IT WON’T…
Having mustered up enough courage, he tipped a few drops into the large beaker.
DRIP
DRIP
DRIP
.
.
.
BOOM!
A white hot explosion came from only a simple mistake. The whole basement blew up, making Lux shoot out, half burning, half burnt, rocketing him upside-down about a mile away in a large tree, where he was witnessing the smoky mushroom coming from his shop.

Was.
EPIC!”
He smiled.
