Not only is Elske level-headed, she is able to quickly think things through in dangerous situations. Instead of rushing head on into an unknown situation, she always thinks through her options and all of the other factors to try and determine the best way to handle the situation. She is extremely patient, and that, along with her ability to think things through makes her an excellent Go and Shogi player. She also often ends up settling disputes between her people that another general probably wouldn't have bothered to deal with. Whether or not this is a good thing is yet to be determined; although her track record thus far has been a favorable one.
But for all of her good points is an equal bad one. Elske is also extremely stubborn and likes to take care of things herself, whether or not she is able to handle them alone. She can also be vain about her appearance, to a certain extent. She also has a high lack of self-denial -- for example, if she sees a kimono or weapon she wants in a village she will buy it, regardless of the cost. She can also be shy, finding herself unable to speak around a man that she likes -- something that is definitely not befitting of a demon general.

Detailed Personal History:
Ever since Elske was a child she wondered as to her birth. She was told that she was the daughter of the Great Ram General, but there was absolutely no resemblance between the two whatsoever. Despite her own qualms about continuing to be his heir, she did so without question. For one thousand years she did so.
Elkse has also always been excellent with board games, as well as strategic plans due to her patience and ability to think things through before acting. She even studied martial arts along with the rest of her siblings -- three older brothers, two younger, as well as one older sister and one younger.
One day there was an accident in the village; a rock slide of sorts. The General barely managed to escape with his life -- but he was not entirely fortunate in surviving. Over two hundred died in that slide, and even though the Village Elders swore no blame to Yin-Song(the General), he was still ridiculed and blamed for it.
It was time to finally give the position over to a new ram demon. And even though Elske's siblings seemed to be more likely picks, she was chosen. Whether it was because of her ability with strategy games, or whether it was more her own self-confidence, she didn't care. She was glad to except the position. Until that is she found out the true meaning of what accepting entailed. If the current Ram General was still alive then the one trying to become the next would have to beat the current in a battle. If Elske had known that before she might not have agreed so readily without having thought about it more thoroughly.
But as things were, she had little choice. And so the battle ensued, with Elske barely managing to come out victorious. But her victory was not all glorious. With her win, she also lost her siblings; not a single one of them would speak to her from that moment on, save for challenging her to fights. They fought her for supremacy, to see if they could possibly become the next General. They also fought her so that they could also tell her what a failure she was, and that she was only general because their father favored her. Even so, she became the General and began to lead the Rams, with the assistance of her father.
