May is kind and compassionate and often treats her playful banter as flirtation. She is madly in love with her mate Taro and would do anything for him, she puts up with Granny for him. ((>>)) She is extremely friendly and loves kids to death, her outward appearances show her as wea and feeble, but like Granny you should never judge her by her appearance. Mayumi was brought up by her father in the forests just beside the Western land borders. Her mother was killed a few months after her birth by stray demons. Her father had been banned from his small pack and decided that he would just rasie May in the best way he could. He traveled from village to village, playing the Koto to earn money and food for May, as she grew older he taught her how to play and she slowly grew into singing as well.
Her father was also quite skilled in a few types of martial arts. He was more inclined towards Kung Fu and taught his daughter a few skills. One of his most secretive skill was done with his Koto, when different notes were put into the correct sequence the sound waves created were powerful and the wind they rode on sliced into enemies. Mayumi learned the trade and met Taro only a few days before her father died, natural causes this time. Mayumi became attached to her mate in every way and joined his wandering family, a fox surrounded by wolfs.
