So much to be done, and so many things to prepare.
The large ballroom was very fancy and elegant indeed, and lining the walls were a few large tables with many silver platters, enchanted by a skilled mage so that they would refill when needed. A chocolate fountain was placed in the center of a round table, surronded by goodies such as fruits and other sweets that could be placed on a wooden stick and dipped into the creamy, liquid choco, and on another round table -- there were two of these on each side of the room -- was a huge, self-refilling bowl of fruit punch. This was a slightly modern, but very exquisite setup, the only reason it was modern being that the ruler of the Draco Mountain Range, Nuil, had travelled all over the world and had seen many things. Almost any food or drink could be found, from water to wine or milk to whiskey. Hell, there was even tea. In a darker corner of the room was a small but adequate fountain of blood for any vampyres or werepyres that might show, that wanted the taste of blood, but it was secluded, and a warning sign hung on the wall the tell what was beyond. the vast ballroom floor was very spacious, so there was plenty of room for what guests would come. On the high walls there were half oval shapes, like cave mouths, roses bordering them, in multiple different colors to fit the dragon that would appear in them. At the very front of the room was a silver and seafoam green padded throne, and above, another vast cave mouth. But on this one, there were no roses, but thick vines and ferns that seemed to have come straight from the jungle.
Already perched in his little hole was the dragon that owned it, Emelth, a bright powder green dragon with large, golden feathered wings. He was very agile and limber, but his muscles could be seen through his thick scales. His eyes were a vibrant amber, however they were closed as he napped, his head nestled down on his claws. Perched in a white rose decorated cave hole was a gorgeous female dragon, with muted blue scales, grey wings, and large, inquisitive blue eyes that shimmered with excitement. She was the birthday dragon. Inbetween her two claws that were in front of her, nestled three eggs. Beside her, in the next cave hole, was her mate. He was large and black, muscled, with rich maroon plaited wings and eyes, but despite his viscious appearance, he looked at his mate, Ith, with love and protectiveness. Across the room, directly from the two youngest dragons, were the parents of Ith, the two betas. Zintana, who looked most like her daughter, was perched directly across from her, and Cordath, her father, was perched directly across from her mate, Areo. He looked very proud of his daughter, and his son-in-law as well.
"Oi! Can't you move any faster? You are a demon, and not a blumbeirng idiot, aren't you?"
Said a rude voice from the entrance of the hall. It was Nuil, the leader of the mountain range. She was directing a couple guards to bring in a slightly large table for gifts for Ith, who was glancing at them with a raised eyebrow, not budging an inch from her position.
"Yes ma'am, but it's heavy, even for us!"
"Well it's the birthday table for a dragon, for pete sakes! It's not some human child having a birthday party, y'know!"
"Yes ma'am."
The two guards mumbled in unison, and they quickened their pace. Emelth raised an eyebrow this time, before opening his wings best he could in the large hole, and then he stepped off the platform, carefully avoiding stepping on the equipment. He nimbly and quickly strode over to the struggling guards, who stopped at once. They allowed the huge dragon to take the table in his jaws so carefully it would not even leave a dent in it, and he carried it to the intended place: Before Ith's cave hole. He set it down as carefully as he had picked it up and carried it, and nodded to the young mother dragon, who grinned and nodded back. Areo snorted lealously that anyone but himself had gotten a smile from his beloved, and Ith rolled her eyes, reaching over to nip him gently on the flank. He hissed playfully.
"Not in here, kiddies, We have guests that will be flocking in any minute now and we need an undamaged setup."
The dragons snickered in unison.
"Well pardon us, then, Mistress. But it is my birthday, shouldn't I be able to get to do whatever I want?"
Ith pointed out. Nuil chuckled.
"Not if you want those gifts I had made for you."
"Oh, fine then. Be that way."
Ith stuck her snake-like tongue out, and blew a light gale at the angelicly enhanced human-werepyre, who swiftly opened her wings to block it from going any farther and destroying a table. Her wings absorbed the wind, and she closed them again, letting them shrink to mini-size again.
"Cheater."
Ith said, rolling her eyes again. All the other dragons in the room laughed in booming voices, including the alpha male, Emelth, who had returned to his little hidey-hole. A few cages could be heard opening, and from the entrnce hall came a parade of guardian dogs the size of lions and with the brute force of a young dragon. They were all either grey or brown in color, with the shade markings of german shepherds, and silks on their backs and wrapping around their chests, colored in shades of dark purple, rimmed with gold, and with cyan flames racing along the bottom of the sheet. they trotted into the room, at least twenty, and went under each table to make sure the guests behaved. They laid down, alert but with their eyes closed, a few with their tongues lazily lolling out of their mouths. Then, after them, several dozen humans and demons from the castle village were allowed in, all dressed in neat clothes, kimonos and yukatas that were made of silk. A few children ran in, and suddenly all the dragons were in place. They were instantly bowing their heads down to the children's levels, and luckily for the children, the village was comepletely taught in the art of DragonSpeak, since so many dragons called this place home. The wise one, the eldest dragon, Vanlith, was already entertaining a group of children with stories.
The angelicly enhanced human-werepyre was now on the single throne, in her usual powder blue dress, looking as gorgeous as ever. A few villagers paid her their respects, and requested certain things, like a good luck charm from a mage so that perhaps their crops would grown more plentiful or they would trade and earn more money, or that less monsters and beasts would attackthis year then last. They were all small favours that the Lady would most likely grant, which was why she had a couple advanced mages positioned near her, so that they could summon things the villagers asked for. Nuil then enjoyed the party, glancing at Vanlith, her enhanced hearing easily catching his stories over the chit chatting of the crowd. She leaned back, enjoying the company, waiting for more interesting visitors to arrive. OOC-- Words// 1235 Mwahahaha. Fear my awesomeness. >DDDD

OOC:lol
IC: Kiloto ran in, her cute pink and red kimono fluttered a bit as the small child set the present down, a woman followed behind her wearing a silk red kimono, her hair up in a ponytail. The woman was Akina, and yes, she was doing a lot better, getting a small hut outside the villiage was a wonderful idea, she could train by killing most of the demons that came her way trying to get to the villiage, and she could grow crops and herbs to heal the sick and injured. Naraku was a thing of the past to her, nothing but a bad memory really, now Kiloto was her concern, she had cared for Riku long enough and it was his turn to move on with his life and for fill his destiny, this didn't include her sadly but Kiloto was a diferent story. Kiloto rushed over to the other childern and sat down in a far corner unseen, Kiloto was the type of girl who liked to be alone other than her 'Mother' Akinas' company. Walking around Akina spotted a small cup and wine and filled her a glass, glancing around she sipped the cool wine and smiled.

It was lovely day for a party, so lovely even Eichi just had to go to one. To tell you the truth she couldn’t even remember the last time she attended a party for someone, the last time she went to a party was a few hundred years ago. Even that one was boring, she just really couldn’t take going to formal parties they were usually stiff and boring, but dragons sure do know how to have a fun party. Tucking a piece of her hazelnut hair behind her ear, her olive green eyes scanned the ballroom with glee. She was wearing a black silk kimono and the designs of some red flowers decorated the kimono, and with her tightly fashioned hair she looked just right for the party.
Walking through the big doors to the ballroom she smiled happily, fingering the present in her hands. It was just a simple box with glossy black paper wrapped around it, and with the shadow demon clan insignia stamped on it. Which was just two white dots next to each other and multiple lines intertwining around the two dots, and with her enchanting it to make the lines move around it sort of looked like a dance to the eye. Taking a step forward towards the table that held the presents she just placed it with the other multi colored presents, it just stood there like a shadow overshadowed by the huge presents hers looked so insignificant to the others.
Edging towards the table full of food, she took a glass and poured some wine into it. Taking a sip of it with her back to the table she scanned the ballroom, there many dogs stationed underneath the tables and she bet one was under the table she was next to. Taking another sip she kneeled down to look under the table to be met with a black nose sticking out growling. The dog was as big as a lion, and sort of a German shepherded look to it, sticking her hand out the security dog just growled even louder. Frowning she flicked the dog on the nose then lightly tapped the dog on top of its head then under it’s jaw, once done with that scratched the dog behind the ear before standing up again with a smirk.
Making her close inspection again she caught site of the birthday girl, sitting there with her head high, then looking around again she saw the big guy or girl to be exact the leader of this place. Eichi could tell she wasn’t one to mess with, turning her head around she could tell that there were even hidden guards attempting at hiding in the shadows from the untrained eye. She just ‘Tch’ at there silly attempt at hiding, taking another sip of her wine she found someone she wasn’t expecting, Akina. Slipping through the crowd she made her way to the woman with ease, stepping forward to Akina she took another sip of her wine with a smirk.
“I didn’t expect you here, Akina was it,” she asked at the end, taking another sip of her wine. She saw a few children stop by the two woman, just staring at them. Eichi just replied by turning her back from Akina she transformed her face as if her face had some kind of green muck coming from her pores, and her eyes turned up only showing the white part it;the kids just screamed their tiny scream and ran away to one of the dragon elders. In an instant she transformed her face back to it’s pale white face, turning around to Akina she just smirked. Shrugging her shoulders she took another sip of the wine.
“I don’t like people staring at me,” she said in a bored tone.

"Hm, Eichi, we meet yet again." she smirked at the childern running away, Kiloto ignored them and walked over to Akina standing next to her she glanced around nervously, the vines lengthened to her worry and Akina smiled down at Kiloto. "This is my lovly Adoptive daughter Kiloto." she motioned to Kiloto and smiled again. Kiloto waved her hand shyly and bowed, "Mommy is it ok if I get something to drink." she looked up at Akina who nodded and she ran off to the milk.

Nuil noticed the three new people, and stood from her throne, stepping down the steps and prancing toward the three with a cheerful gait. Her light blue dress that ended just below her knees swished around her legs, her small heeled sandals lightly tapping the ground. Her waist length blondish tan hair billowed out behind her as she moved quickly through the crowd, some men daring to glance after her. Her cute little angelic wings were still tiny, each only a foot in length, but snowy white. She stopped near the guests and gave the them a dazzling smile, her pearly white teeth showing.
"Bonjour! Welcome to my palace. I'm Nuil, the Dragon Master, and I would be pleased to know your names."
She smiled, her little white wings flapping with excitement. She might not always be the happiest person, but she loved meeting new people.

“Well so we do,” Eichi said with a smirk, she took another sip looking around as the little girl skipped off to get her drink. Brushing her bangs from her face she sighed a bit, the party was already getting boring. Turning around she was met with the dragon master, she smiled giving a little bow in respect. Not that she had any respect for the woman as of right now, it was more out of courtesy really.
“ Ah Prevet I am Eichi of the Shadow,” she said with a flourish looking down at the glass after taking another sip she smiled as it was empty.

Akina bowed her head to the demon, "Akina, I am the miko and one of the soldiers of a small villiage outside your lands." she smiled as Kiloto came back with her milk sipping it lightly, "Hi I'm Kiloto, I'm Akinas' daughter!" she giggled. Akina sighed, "Adoptive daughter Kiloto." Akina chuckled lightly and sighed, "Great party." she mummbled and stared at nothing, not like she really cared, she lost her heart to some demon wanting to know love again, she hated that.

(The bowls and fountains ect. of the wines and such are enchanted, not the glasses.) Nuil raised an eyebrow at Eichi; she did sound a tad bored. Not to worry. The angelic werepyre grinned, and danced away to her throne again. She pranced past it, and looked at her dragon with a grin. She mumbled something in DragonSpeak, and the massive seafoam lime dragon nodded, his large head raising from her level, and he stood, stepping daintily past the throne. People moved out of the way so he had plenty of room, and Nuil glanced around the room at the other dragons, all of them standing up as well, and beginning to leave their holes. Ith's mate, Areo, stood, but he glanced at her and helped her wrap the egs into a secure bundle around her neck, and then they both stepped down, marching out first, followed by the two parents. The eldest dragon, Vanlith got up and follwed, after lifting the children onto his back, them squealing in delight. He walked out, and then Nuil leapt onto her massive dragon's back in a single leap, and Emelth then walked out, and all the other dragons began emptying the room as well. Most of the guests followed, and several new guard dogs walked out, into the large courtyard, then out onto the slope leading to the village. Then on a path that went away from the main road they followed, reaching a huge field with a view over the mountains. The dragons broke into gallops, and Vanlith let the children down before following.
On a large pedestal, Ith put down her eggs, and the several guard dogs surrounded them. Ith gave a toothy grin and went afer her relatives, and then all at once, they leapt into the air. Cordath and Emelth were in the air in the middle, and they both let out jets of fire from their mouths, one stream teal, and the other the same color as Emelth's scales. Nuil was still riding him, and she then jumped off, her wings opening. She did a backflip in midair, flying above the dragons, who had formed a circle in midair. They were hovering, their flames the colors of their scales. They began flying to the side, and then went faster, forming a vortex of colorful fire. Nuil hovered above the vortex, and then dove into it, her wings changing color into those of the rainbow, flames licking at them harmlessly. She spun in place, and hovered inches above the ground, before looking up and grabbing a bow and arrow that a guard tossed to her. She took a feather from her wings, and tied it to the tip of the arrow, and then nocked it to the bow. She aimed up at the center of the flaming swirls, and fired. It hit direct center, and at that exact moment all the dragons stopped their fire breathing. Instantly, the rainbow fire turned into streams that burst up into the air, turning into fireworks. Nuil dropped to the ground, eyes closed and arms spread out, eyes closed and palms up. The dragons all landed in a circle around her, and she opened her eyes, the color leaving her wings in a whisp of smoke. She grinned, and lets out a slight growl, and to other dragons all nodded, and turned to the crowd that had followed, and bowed.
Vines wrapped around Riu and Kotaro as the dragons began leaving, and they were lifted back to Thorn's side.
"Come on, you bakas!"
She giggled, and then started following the crowd, Reiko and Tobi racing ahead. She had a hand protectively on her stomach, as she clumsily walked foreward. Her vision was perfectly colorful, and they all stopped when the dragons did to watch the show.

((Fixed it ^^ ) Eichi just stifled another yawn as she made her way outside, putting her empty glass on the table. Watching the show of colorful fires she just yawned again, she wasn’t one to fire and colors to tell you the truth she hated dragons so why was she here. Because she felt like enjoying a party, and much as she hated it dragons sure do now how to throw a party unlike most demons. That of course would exclude her people, know they knew how to have a party sadly though there hadn’t been a shadow demon party in over a few hundred years at least since she was over 600 years old, but know she’s over 800 years old. She felt so old, subconsciously clapping with the other guest she let her eyes wonder over the crowd. That’s when the little kids where right next her, even more then before obviously the kid told his friends on how cool she was in making faces. Eichi just grumbled it wasn’t that she didn’t like kids, she loved kids and she was one at heart as well it was just that they reminded her of the kids from his village that she hadn’t seen in a long while. Kneeling down she made them huddle next to her as she reached in to her sleeve pulling out a napkin. Putting the napkin over one of her hands she moved her hand over it as an egg came out of the shadows into her hand, pulling the napkin off her hand the kids gasped and clapped their hand as they saw the egg. Moving her hand the egg disappeared the taking her other hand she pulled the egg back from the shadows behind a little girls ear. The clapped even more, Eichi just smiled at the warm memories of the children in her village came to her.

Kotaro moves behind his fathers leg slightly Shy. Riu lines his family up not in a bossy kinda way. "this is Tobi, Reiko, and Kotaro." Gives thorn a kiss. "and this is Thorn."

"Shes a neko demon, controls nature, Thorn-chan can probably teach her a few things, sense I don't control that element." she looked at Thorn and bowed her head.

Nuil did have other plans for those eggs, though. They would hatch soon, and the hatchlings needed trainers and riders for when they were older. There were probably a few willing children with willing parents in the large crowd... Nuil shook her head. This wasn't the time. Her dragons had roved off into the crowd, visiting the guests.
Thorn smiled at Kiloto and Akina, and gave Riu a loving glance.
"Yes, that's fine."
She said to the little girl, and Tobi poked her on the shoulder.
"Fine, but you're it!"
He said, and dashed off. Reiko laughed and bolted the other way. Thorn looked back to Akina, and placed a hand on her stomach.
"I'd love to, but I'm due in a couple months so I should keep the pressure off."
She replied, giving it a pat. The pregnant woman then turned her head to the side sligtly, looking for someone. In this case, it would be a little black serpent made of Riu's blood named Echo. She thought he'd come along, but she had been so busy keeping Tobi and Reiko under control she hadn't paid much attention to the little shadow hunter.

Kiloto grinned, speeding off towards Tobi, she appeared in front of him and poked his forehead, "You have to move fast!" laughing she ran east and Akina smiled, "Oh really, congrats, I am more than willing to help at any time." she bowed her head and smiled again at the kids playing her eyes deep in thought, a hint of sadness hidden behind them. 'Freak! Monster! Leave this place!' boys voices echoed through her head.
