Detailed personality description:
Rin can be childish and immature at times, but she have a very compassionate heart. She keeps a very optimistic and positive outlook on life, knowing everything will turn out for the best. She can be dependent on others, at times, but she will always pull through for them in the end, she has a love of life and of others. She doesn’t judge people by their appearance, and would most likely bend over backwards to help a stranger. She’s always happy-go-lucky, and sees every morning as a new beginning.

Detailed Personal History:
Rin grew up as an orphan, beaten and treated like dirt by the village people. After an interlude between Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha, Rin came across a injured Sesshoumaru in the forest. From here we know how Rin ended up with the Dog Lord.
What no one knows yet is how Sesshoumaru tried to turn Rin into a demon herself. He took her to a Miko, one whom declared she could turn any human into the demon of choice. All she needed was a bit of blood, and a hefty purse for herself. Sesshoumaru agreed, taking the 8 year old Rin to the witch and leaving her there to be turned.
The miko preformed her magic on Rin and simply left her out in the open forest, hoping a demon would eat her as she took off with the money. Unfortunately the spell the witch used did have an effect on Rin. It aged her quite a few years, her body and mind growing to that of a twenty-three year old. When she awoke the next morning she couldn’t make heads or tails of where she was, and the footprints made by the witch had been covered over by snow.
A few days after she had been in contact with the witch she was attacked by a demon, he clawed at her arm and sent her flying to the side. But she soon realized that her cut healed faster than any she had ever seen. Since that time she has been wandering through the forests and plains, not really searching for anything, but not wanting to return to her Lord.
