Kouga twitched when Tsuzuki spoke, his heart stopping. Any second now she's going to freak out.... He was still looking away, hoping something would pop out of no where and distract them from his recent...uh, mistake? When Ayame didn't full on tackle him he blinked, daring to glance at her he turned. Quite surprised that her glare was focused on Tsuzuki.
Opening his mouth to speak he glanced at Zuki. "Uh.... Yeah...." He left his breath out and slowly turned his head away from her again. I'm sorry Ayame! He shook his head, rolling his eyes. He really wasn't sorry, he shouldn't have to be. The truth was the truth and he had nothing to say against it.

Zuki tried to supress her laughter as she looked to Ayame. She was the one who took things way to seriously. I mean, Kouga didn't really mean anything by that, right? Then Ayame was treating it as if it was her fault. "is there a problem Ayame-nee-chan?" this was followed by a slight giggle. Ayame was not happy. "you-- you-- ugh." she turned away from them both, tail flicking, and muttering something inaudible.
Tsuzuki raised her eyebrow but continued to grin. "Wow, somebody has some major jealosy issues, methinks. Wake up from Your little fantasy world, Hmmmm?"

I wonder if I could find some fish….. It might be too cold to get in the water though…. Kouga glanced at his nails and debated whether or not he should try to get some food. He glanced at the rabbit corpse lying on the ground, his eye twitched once before he closed them and shook his head. So not feeling the dead rabbit right now.
Sniffing the air he turned from both of the girls and glanced around the trees again. Picking up the smell of wolf he let out a sigh of relief. Finally, some testosterone to match those two. From the trees came three wolves, all of them heading straight for Kouga and nearly leaping off the ground to greet him. Laughing he kneeled down to the ground and greeted each of them with a rough, yet loving, shaking of their fur.
Brushing at the snow still clinging to their fur he stood back up and stared around the trees again. “Where are my buffoon brothers?” He asked quietly, directed at the wolves by his feet. Shrugging his shoulder he glanced at the two girls again. Realizing Ayame was pouting again, Kouga the annoyed wolf leader, sighed and rubbed his forehead.

Ayame one again chose to ignore Tsuzuki. It wasn't worth wasting the energy at this point, being that nothing she did seemed effect her, but ignoring Zuki was what really seemed to bother her. Crazy attention whore.... Instead, Ayame paced over to where a few of Kouga's wolves had just arrived. She kept a bit of a distance, wondering where her wolves had run off to. There were very few traveling with her this time. Four, Five at the most. Since the incident with Kyokotsu of the band of Seven they were quite shorthanded being that half of them had been maimed or eaten.
Yukiko, however, was very much excited by the new arrivals. In her little puppy world, there wasn't much discression as to who she decided would be her next playmate. Even if the other party didn't share her enthusiasm, Yuki had to at least make an attempt. It was the way of the puppy. Momentarily she was unsure, glancing back between the wolves and her prize. It was decided that no one posed a threat to the dead rabbit. Her fluffy, white wagging tail was held high as she padded over to the small group, barking a greeting in her high-pitched puppy voice.
Tsuzuki was the one worried by this-- pack wolves tended not to like outsiders. Male wolves tended not to like pups that weren't part of the pack and that weren't their own. And there was no way in hell that any of these wolves fathered Yuki-- as far as anyone knew, her whole pack was dead. Zuki was the closest thing she had to family, and Zuki honestly liked Yuki better than she did her own pack and family. Actually, she could barely remember who they were, aside from Mizuki, and what was possibly her parents names. She wasn't sure. She didn't care. Mizu was hell bent on the two of them teaming up. Tsuzuki could cause enough trouble on her own, and didn't need her annoying-as-hell pyromanic little sister following her. Zuki left the pack partially of her own accord, not so much that she got lost and never found her way home. She didn't want to find her way home.
Anyway, though her expression did not change, Zuki was watching Yuki very carefully and trying to pretend she wasn't paying to much attention. Not that there was anything else going on in the immediate area. Things had been rather boring the past few days. So, rather than continuing to glance around at nothing, Zuki shifted her attention to her hearing. Not much there either. Just some small animals movng through the brush off in the distance, and some breif statement about stupid brothers or somesuch. this is one strange group of demons here... Between Ayame's obsessiveness, Kouga's constant shifting from social to silent, and Tsuzuki's just...well, being herself, at least that statement was true.....

Kouga watched the small pup step towards his young pack of wolves. He didn't mind, heck the young thing was probably curious, and he actually liked it. Considering the pup had brought a dead rabbit into the clearing and caused a little bit of a havoc. Shaking his head lightly he sent his wolves a stern look before standing up to smile at Ayame. "What happened to your pups, you had them earlier didn't you?"
Meanwhile his wolves had spotted the small pup. Normally in the wild they would have growled and bit at it, showing it who was boss and then snapping at its heels while they were running off through the trees. But because they were tamer then most wolves, and because of the look their master had given them, they stayed perfectly silent. Instead they circled the pup and sniffed at her, getting a whiff of her whereabouts and glancing at the other demon standing in the clearing.
Kouga glanced at the pups below him, eyeing his wolves reaction to Yuki before smiling up at the demoness. "Don't worry Tsuzuki. My pups are tame, they won't do anything unless I tell them to." He smiled and waved his hand nonchalantly before he caught what he had said, "Not that I would tell them to do anything." He waved his hands before him, an innocent smile on his face.

Ayame blinked, tilting her head to think. "Well, they were with me when I ran into you, but I think they wandered off again shortly before she showed up." Ay nodded in Tsuzuki's direction. "They probably just went off to hunt or something, I'm sure they'll turn up soon."
Yukiko trotted around in the center of the circle, also sniffing at the other wolves. Her tail continued to wag, even as she dropped to her stomach and did a complete rollover. From this, she rose into the infamous puppy play stance-- front legs on the ground, hindquarters in the air.
Tsuzuki returned the smile and nodded. "Well I didn't think you would, you really don't come across as being malicious or anything of the sort in the least, and I suppose you would have to be for a wolf demon to set his pack on a wolf pup." Not even I'm that evil Just about the only demons Tsuzuki wouldn't try to pick a fight with were those of her own species. Probably the only reason Mizuki was still alive. "I mean, she's annoying, but not to the point where you want to kill her....Usually. I only wish she'd be as obedient as them." Zuki nodded toward Kouga's wolves, then realizing that they had been looking at her, she dipped her head in greeting. Yukiko tried her best to look hurt at her mistresses' statement, but the puppy look was lost on Tsuzuki-- after so long, you became immune to it. After a moment Yuki grew bored and turned back to the other wolves.
Now that Yuki is preoccupied, I should probably get rid of the rabbit.... Glancing from the bloody scrap of fur that was once a mountain hare to the group standing across the clearing, she pressed her index finger to her lips, requesting nobody alert the puppy to what she was doing. Ayame thought breifly about saying something, but thought better of it and kept her mouth shut. Dropping all expression from her face, she tuned to the body and closed her eyes in concentration. Not a second later, the whole thing was engulfed in blue and white flames. Then there was nothing. Smirking, Tsuzuki opened her eyes. The snow was tottally unscathed by the flames, yet the only trace that the the rabbit was ever there was in the bright red patches of bloody snow. As it turns out, barriers weren't the only things frozen flames were good for... "Ah, well that takes care of that."

Kouga nodded at Ayame, his eyes flicking between her and the trees surrounding them. "I'm sure they will turn up soon." He eyed his wolves to make sure they were behaving. "Knowing your pups they probably got a whiff of mine and are on their way now." He shrugged his shoulders absentmindedly. Ayame always showed up where ever he was and her wolves always showed up where ever his were. He began to wonder if there was a conspiracy going on.
Turning his attention back to Zuki he watched her burn the rabbit carcass with an arched brow. Well that's different..... He glanced at Ayame before walking across the clearing to where Tsuzuki and the bloody snow rested. Moving his head back and forth he listened to the bones in his neck crack. Smiling he sniffed the air around her and then went back to looking at the snow.
Behind him the wolves continued to circle around the pup. One of them dropped his front legs on the ground to mimic Yuki. His head cocking to the side as his ears perked. The others glanced at him before sharing looks with each other. Then the rest of them dropped, amused by the pup and wondering what her next move would be.

Ayame nodded to Kouga, then walked a few paces forward, lifting her head skyward. She gave a long, loud howl, then stood waiting for the response. Off in the distance, there was a chorus of howling from her wolves-- they were a mile or two away, investigating the carcass of a dead deer. They'd be back soon.
Tsuzuki cocked her head and winced slightly as she heard the bones crack. It was just one of those noises that freaked her out a bit. No big deal. "May I inquire as to what you're sniffing around for over here?" Her tone wasn't nasty, rather it was curious with the same almost jokeing tone Zuki so commonly used. If he was looking for any remains of the rabbit, thers shouldn't be any. Cold flames could destroy evidence just as efficiently as hot ones.
Yukiko started to bounce around, mock charging some of the other, older wolves. She sunk in the snow a little bit, making her movements somewhat clumsy. Of couse she manged to trip over her overlarge pup paws again, sending her tumbling to the snow with a thump. This didn't seem to bother her though, as she got up and shook out her fur, returing to her stance. Ayame was watching this, and couldn't help but laugh. The demon may be irritating, but the puppy was honestly adorable.

Kouga continued to sniff around her, he pretended to be more intrigued with the missing rabbit, but he was taking in her scent. Wolf clans may not necessarily run together, but they did know one another. They had to, if packs ran into each other they needed to know the scent. Be it enemy or foe. But his nose scrunched as he sniffed in again, he didn’t recognize the scent, maybe her pack was too far for him to even know.
But still, he had always been proud to say he knew every demon tribe around. Be it wolf, dog, cat or some other random animal. But this girl had him confused. “Nothing, just remarking on your uh…” He waved his hands trying to think of what to say. “Just noting your magical disappearing bunny trick.” He smiled before turning around and heading back to Ayame. Glancing at his pups as he did.
The group of wolves were thoroughly amused with the pup, if they could raise their brows and chuckle, they most likely would have. One of them stepped forwards, setting a paw on either side of the pup and holding their rump in the air as she was. Cocking his head to the side he growled playfully, his tail wagging back and forth.

"Uh huh. Magical Disappearing bunny trick. Sure...." Tsuzuki nodded slowling, arching one of her eyebrows. She didn't see the point in sniffing around after that, since the flames were always smokeless, but then again the others would have no way of knowing that. It still struck her as a bit odd, but considering who it was, why was she suprised?
On the subject of pack scent though, Tsuzuki had none, really. She left at such a long age and was gone for so long that it had faded away almost completely. Yukiko too, though their pack scents would have been different to begin with-- Yuki was born further south. In fact, even if her pack scent still lingered, she was from so far north she doubted anyone but the elders would even recognize it. Their territory was secluded, remote, far up in the mountains.
Yukiko returned the playful growl, and charged forward. Playfighting was common among wolves, nothing to worry about there. The amusing part was that Yuki was actually trying to knock the other wolf to the ground... and getting absolutly nowhere with it.
Ayame gave Yuki a little laugh, while still listening for her wolves. They'd get here within the next ten minutes, providing they didn't get distracted.

Facing the trees Kouga continued to sniff, his eyes glued to the shadows surrounding all the trees. He had the sudden urge to run from the clearing, to just run and keep running until the shadows he watched now swallowed him up. Turning slightly he glanced at Ayame. Sure she was an annoying pup, always turning up at the most random or wrong moments, but he had to admit he liked her spirit. Even if he doubted they would ever get much farther then what they were now.
Then again no one knew what tomorrow would bring anymore. The world they lived in now was so full of twists and turns, who knew, Ayame might very well be his mate. Some day, far, far away. His eye twitched a few times at the thought and he turned away from her again, staring through the trees before pivoting and staring at his wolves. At least some one's having fun.
The wolf watched Yuki. His head cocking to the side again as he brought his paw up and swatted lightly at the pup. The other wolves broke the circle and stood behind the first one, their own heads cocked as they watched the two of them. Waiting to see what the pup would do.

Tsuzuki ran her hand through her hair and started to glance around the clearing again. Yuki may have been enjoying herself, but Tsuzuki was losing interest-- she happened to have a very short attention span. Suddenly, she was hearing something else though... something was moving in the forest behind her. Zuki whipped around to see-- That's a squirrel you idiot. a squirrel. She turned back to face the rest of the group, acting calm and pretending she didn't just almost try and attack a squirrel. Instead she tried to start a conversation to draw away from her ADD moment. "So, would either of you happen to know who the demon Naraku is?" The current focus of Tsuzuki's travels was finding him, as apparently he held most of the Shikon no Tama. Jewl shards were her main objective here, but either way she was totally lost.
Ayame had now caught the scent of her small pack, who had finnaly made it back to the clearing. The large gray canines circled around Ayame, who greeted them and started petting them. The wolves looked at the unfamiliar demoness, then at Kouga, then at the small mob of wolves over by Yukiko.
Ayame turned to look at Tsuzuki. "yes we've heard of him, what of it?" Kouga would probably know much more on that subject then Ayame, being that the most she ever dealed with was Kyokotsu, not Naraku himself. Kouga had actually fought with Naraku before and so far had managed to survive.
Yukiko fell lightly to the ground, thanks to the other wolf. Still unphased, she rose up onto her hind legs and used her front paws to push at the other wolf's shoulder in a futile attempt to knock him over.

At the mention of Naraku Kouga, who had previously been preoccupied watching the pups play, perked his head and stared across the clearing at Tsuzuki. "Yes we have." he hadn't caught Ayame's words, his attention was now divided between the wolf demoness and his own memories.
Unlike InuYasha and Kagome who continually had run in with the spider demon, Kouga had only come in contact with him once or twice. And he wasn't counting his puppets or slaves either. Those things were nothing more than a nuisance. Staring at Tsuzuki Kouga growled softly, it wasn't aimed at any of them, he was simply thinking and reacting to his thoughts.
"Have you come in contact with him?" He took a step forwards, stepping around his wolves and staring at Tsuzuki. If she had seen him recently then he might have come in contact with Kagome. Or she might be able to tell him where Naraku was, killing him was a dream unaccomplished for Kouga.
The wolf cocked his head as he stared at the pup. Inside he snickered at her attempt to push him over. So he gently bopped his nose against hers and rolled over, sticking his legs up in the air and watching the pup. The other wolves cocked their heads and watched, highly amused by the scene.

Hm, this meeting may prove to be more helpful than I previously thought... Tsuzuki tensed a bit at the growling, a somewhat instinctual response. "Not him directally, no. But I've managed to make enemies out of both of his mates, his son, and his adopted daugter in the past months. I've also formed an 'alliance'" She used airquotes here, as Zuki had only done this for personal gain-- she didn't give a damn what happened to the demoness. "With his apparent enemy Amoi." Though it's been ages since she was last seen. Probably wen't and got herself killed.
Ayame remained silent throughout this, as this subject wasn't her area of expertise. As much as she hated Naraku for destroying the lives of so many of her kin, Kouga was in charge of the avenging.
Zuki was leaving out most of the specifics for now, until she knew where the other two stood on the subject-- it sure didn't look like either were to fond of him though.
Unaware as to what was going on among the demons, Yuki was trying to take advantage of her 'opponent'. While he was on his back, Yuki pushed at his shoulder again, trying to knock him sideways-- she was having a lot of fun with this, as she very rarley spent time around other wolves. The last time was with the dire wolf pack in the marshes, and the whole time Tsuzuki was chastizing her about her manners. Now at least Zuki was preoccupied.

The wolf watched her paws, inside he was still laughing at her attempts, outside he was staying calm and only showed his happiness by wagging his tail. After a few more tries from the pup he swatted gently at her, trying to knock her over as well. The other wolves relaxed on their hindquarters. Their eyes glancing back and forth between the pups on the ground and the pups around Ayame.
Kouga stiffened. “An alliance with the enemy…..” He lifted his hand to his face, Amoi…. for some reason he couldn’t think of who this person was. But if she was an enemy of Naraku’s maybe she was on their side. Shaking his head he glanced back up at Tsuzuki.
“So you haven’t seen him?…” He was slightly pissed by that, he had hoped to charge into battle with the damn demon. Ending his life before InuYasha appeased him. Twitching his lips he glanced at her again.
