InuShaki was in the outskirts of the marshlands. Sitting in one of the trees that were there. She smelled Sesshomaru's scent a couple of miles off but thought noting of it, if he wanted to fight he would come. But there was a scent she didn't smell with him, it was that little human girl's scent. Well she smelled it but it was far away from her older half brother.
'He might have told her to wait somewhere' she thought. She hated Sesshomaru, but she kinda liked the little girl. After all she did noting to gain her hate. Then she smelt the girls scent very close, she also smelt salt. Like the girl was crying, InuShaki was not sure of this however.

Rin had always had a small spark of adventure swirling in her brown lobes. Her smile had always been innocent but with a slight tilt of knowing just hiding under the surface. Even before Sesshoumaru had saved her she considered herself a wanderer, a nomad out on the path of enlightenment, or in her case the next meal.
But as always her small trek through the marshlands had ended in her getting lost. Not that she minded, Lord Sesshoumaru had a knack for finding her, and Rin normally enjoyed hiding from him while he searched. But today's journey ended in pain for Rin, well it wasn't even over yet, she was just in pain.
The flowers she found, which were a beautiful golden color with tints of red (which Rin thought would look lovely in her Lord's hair), had decided to hide the long and rather sharp thorns from her sight at first. And now she was wandering the marshes looking for her Lord and crying over the large thorn stuck in her finger.

In had been a couple of minutes, She could no longer smell Seshomaru. She could however still smell the girl and salt. InuShaki groaned while jumping down out of the tree. "Might as well go look of her." She said to herself. But then she started thinking, would this girl hide from her? Because the kid had seen InuShaki hurt Sesshomaru in battle before. And she seemed to like the grumpy Dog Demon.
In wasn't long until the scent became so strong that InuShaki knew she was close. Walking a little more she seen her. As she guessed they girl was crying. InuShaki really was no good around crying people, because she often hid her feelings of sorrow. She walked up behind her and asked. "Why are you crying?"

Staring at her finger and grumbling to herself Rin let the tears slip down her cheeks as she walked around the bushes still looking for Sesshoumaru. "Why are you crying?" Her little figure jumped at the sudden words. Proclaiming wiht a rather loud "Ack!" She jumped into the nearest bush and rolled into a ball.
Breathing heavily she mumbled silently about her finger before looking up through the leaves of the bush. Before stood a dog demon, not any dog demon, Lord Sesshoumaru's sister. What was her name? InuShikki, InuShaka? No. Perking up her head she blinked a few times then crawled out from under the bush. "I'm not crying." She wiped at her cheeks.

"Right you weren't crying and my hair's blue. Really tell me why you were." She said to Rin. She sniffed the air for any scent of her brother, she hated him and he would try to kill her if he found her talking to Rin. She still didn't smell him. 'great he long gone' she thought.
Then she noticed that the little frog thingy, was not there also. She didn't smell him with Sesshomaru earlier. "And Where's that toad thing that always points that stupid stick thing at me?" She asked

Rin pouted slightly, her eyes going to the ground as her foot absentmindedly dug into the dew covered marsh. "I- I..." She sniffled lightly, bringing her finger from behind her back and holding it up for the demon to see. "I hurt my finger..." Rin had always prided herself in acting like a more mature child, maybe someone along the lines of a young adult, but right now she had a very nasty thorn sticking through most of her finger and she was lost.
"J- Jaken stayed at the castle today, he didn't want to babysit me...." She sniffled again, her eyes lowering to glare at her finger.

Inushaki looked at the thorn in Rin's finger. 'That's all? I have almost got my arm cut off and I didn't say a word about it.'she thought to her self. "This may hurt a little" she said grabbing Rin's hand and pulling the thorn out.
Great it seemed InuShaki had to do the right thing here and look after her, atleast for a little while. "Ok you have three thing to choose from. 1. I stay here with you until my stupid brother comes back. 2.I take you back to the castle or 3. I leave you here." she said

Holding her breath she waited for InuShaki to do something horrid to her hand. Expecting her to either cut it off or eat it. Rin was a kid, she didn't know any better. But she was wonderfully surprised at how quick and painless taking the thorn from her hand was. With a small sniffle and a release of her breath she glanced at her finger and smiled.
"Arigato... uh...." Rin blushed lightly, embarrassed she had forgotten the dog demon's name. She was Sesshoumaru's sister too.... "And I just want to find Lord Sesshoumaru, or at least get pointed in the right direction."

InuShaki sniffed the air, Sesshomaru was to the far east. "Ok he's in the far east. Come on" She said and she leaned down waiting for Rin to get on her back. She could take her to Sesshomaru wasy faster than the kid could walk.
"It's quicker for you to get on my back, and I ran there." She said still waiting for her to get on. InuShaki rolled her eyes, "I'm not gonna hurt you come on." She said to her. She sniffed the air one more time, Sesshomaru had gotten closer.

Sesshomaru groaned to himself, Rin was a bright child though not so bright in the head sadly. So it was no surprise to him that he would turn his back to her for one second and find her gone the next, she was always had a knack for getting into trouble ever time that happened. After a few times babysitting her himself, he could understand how Jaken could lose the girl he just had fun throwing rocks at the imp for it. Closing his eyes and sniffing the air a bit he caught Rin’s scent which was a ways off from him, I guess that’s what he gets for not trying to sniff her out but try tracking her with out it.
Groaning for the sixth time that day he turned on his heels heading west, taking another sniff at the air he realized that Rin wasn’t alone but with his younger sister InuShaki. He slightly panicked a bit thinking of many things that the girl could accidentally do to lose Rin or hurt her, but he just took a big breath and let it out. He just hopped that the half-breed would know how to handle the little girl, feeling a little better that Rin was at least with someone he knew wouldn’t hurt her since it’s him that she hated. But that still didn’t make him slow down his pace, he just sped up most people would consider this parenting instinct he would just kill them for saying that. Though slightly he did consider the little human a daughter, just a smidge.

Rin glanced at InuShaki, her eyes going between her back and the open marsh beside her. Rin was pretty positive the dog demoness wouldn't hurt her, but then again she did hate Sesshoumaru. And Rin was in league with the Lord, and it wouldn't be the first time she was attacked to get at him.
"Uh... o-ok." She took a shaky step forward, her hand going to to grab at the woman's shoulder before she quickly lifted her dirty feet from the ground. Holding her breath Rin gripped InuShaki's shoulders and wrapped her leg around her waist. Closing her eyes she ducked behind her and prayed for her Lord to find her soon.

"Hold on Tight." She said before running off to the east. This was a change, normally she would want to be far away from Sesshomaru. But today she was willingly going toward him, She sniffed the air and he was still close.
Running a couple more miles,Sesshomaru's scent was so strong that InuShaki knew she would get to him any second. She kept running and came to a clearing, where she found Sesshomaru. "Sesshomaru! I think this belongs to you." She said turning around showing him Rin on her back.

Sesshomaru sped making his way through the marshlands, making sure to stay clear of the pot holes and not to fall into the marshes. He’s had to many encounters as a child to be scar for life because of it, specially when your life is in danger. Covering his face with his emotionless mask, covering the fear in his eyes of the memory, he made his way to finally come to a slower pace then to stop. He could tell that InuShaki was making her way to him, so he wasn’t surprised to see Rin on her back as she had made it here.
Looking over to Rin he nodded, giving the little girl a signal to come over to him. When she had made her way to him, he turned to his heels and walked away. Back to the marshlands, to drop Rin off for Jaken to worry about and to give her a silent scolding about going some where with out telling him.

Her little fingers gripped at InuShaki's shirt, her eyes opened wide in slight fear. She had never ridden on the back of a demon before, well except Ah-Un but he was much different than the demoness now carrying her. But Rin held on tight, slightly afraid of falling to the ground, and partially afraid that InuShaki wasn't taking her to Sesshoumaru.
Once spotting him, Rin's small brown eyes lit up, her little mouth growing into a smile. Not entirely sure how she got of InuShaki, Rin skipped forwards, missing the Demon Lords discreet signal. She was just excited to see him and happily followed after him.

InuShaki watched as Rin ran to Sesshomaru 'why would anyone wanna run to him' she thought, She let a low growl ecsape her mouth as she looked at Sesshomaru. "You need to watch her better Sesshomaru. And Don't let that little toad because his not very good at it." She said to sesshomaru. She placed her hand on the handle of the Tetguya not sure if he would trun this into a fight or not. He had been known to start fights with her and Inuyash.
OOC:Sorry Its only one paragraph I have writers block =(
