Kaname blinked, then laughed. She tried to stop, she really did, but was unable to. It was all so funny, although she knew it shouldn't have been. "I'm... I'm sorry..." she said between bursts of laughter. Taking a deep breath, she held it, until she was no longer laughing. Releasing the breath, she began to breath normally again, and was once again much more calm.
"I really am sorry. It's just... I lived through fighting Naraku multiple times. It...wasn't that hard." That one part though, was a bit of a lie. She had almost died during one of them, but she had still lived. The final time had been almost impossible. In fact, if it hadn't been for Utsugi, they never would have 'defeated' Naraku at all. And even with her help, they had still only managed to set him back a bit. |

Sense she had dog and wolf traits she could easily sense her lies, she smirked,
"I guess you forgot dogs and wolves can sense when you lieing right?" she smirked showing her canine fangs.
"Its not hard yes, but Naraku has gained Underworld powers sense you might of last meet him, he can think about killing you and you would be in a grave." she shook her head sadly.

Tsuzuki had no real specific qualm with Naraku as of now, but he had jewel shards-- that's what she wanted.
But Akina had dog and wolf traits? That was a suprise.
"Sweetie, don't put dogs and wolves in the same catagory. It's offensive-- we're a totally different breed."
Zuki didn't totally hate dogs, but she didn't love them either. Mostly because all the dog demons she had ever run into pretty much hate her-- but, then again, a lot of people hated her.
"So, girl, you've faced Naraku and lived before? By yourself?"

"W-well... I did face him by myself briefly... I didn't win, of course. But at least I did manage to survive until help came." She smiled fondly of the memory when Inuyasha and the others arrived to help save her. She sweatdropped, wondering why that was a fond memory. Back then she had been such a bother to everyone. She had still been learning how to use Shikigami, and hadn't known how to use it to the full potential.
"The two times I defeated him, I was with Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Shippo, and Miroku." Worrying her lower lip, she wondered if she should add the other person as well. Deciding that she probably should, she smiled faintly. "And Sesshomaru too." |

Akina looked at Zuki and raised an eyebrow,
"I guess you didn't have the best times with dogs? and deal with it my mom was a wolf and my dad was a dog, call me a mutt all you want its what I am, a mixed breed of both canines."
She sighed remebering her mothers sweet smile and her fathers warm embrace, she looked at Kaname and blinked.
"Sesshoumaru? The western lands lord? hm." she smiled, "Nice." she then giggled and crossed her legs.

"Hn. You're only half wolf, good. Then I have no reason to treat you as kin."
Tsuzuki hadn't really paid to much attention before to what type of demon Akina was. But now that she was seeing her up close, she could see that she had some canid features.
She refrained from making any comments about being at mut or her mother being a disgrace to Yourouzoku. There would be time for that later. She turned back to Kaname
"Well, I can't say I know any of them, though the name Sesshoumaru sounds very familiar. Tell me, please, what does he look like?"
Thinking back to her past travels, she realized that 'Sesshoumaru' was the name that dog girl was calling the male back when she was in the dog demon territory.
Might that have been him?

Kaname blushed slightly as she tried to think of a good way to describe Sesshomaru. His appearance was easy, although just thinking about him was enough to make her face turn bright red. Clearing her throat, she pretended to concentrate harder to hide her embarrassment.
"Well... Lord Sesshomaru is a dog demon with long silver hair, and a crescent moon on his forehead. He has stripes on the sides of his face, and he wears a large fur boa on one shoulder. He usually travels with an imp, a little girl, and another demon named Ah-Un." |

Akina smirked at Kanames face turning red, she giggled.
'Oh wow she likes him! hehe, if Zuki come to making fun of her.' she gave Zuki the, 'Don't even try it' look.

"Hm. It seems it was him who ran into that day then. Though I must say, he has the personality of a rock. Rather annoying, actually."
Sesshomaru just happened to show up while Tsuzuki was taunting Kardowin. Eventually those two started talking about the girl's life story, which bored Zuki do death and what caused her to leave.
Tsuzuki just smirked at Akina though she was giving her a nasty look.
"Me, make fun of someone? Now why would I do that?"

Akina couldn't help but smirk,
"Why wouldn't you?" she questioned and stood fully, she sniffed the air for anything,
"You know, if you make fun of someone for long enough, they could really hurt you." she sent a smirk towords Zuki and winked at Kaname,
"Good luck with Sesshoumaru girl!" and then she disappeared from where she was standing.

Kaname blushed brightly and flinched. "I don't like Sesshomaru!" she yelled. She sighed soon after, realizing that it was too late, for the demoness had already vanished. That was one thing about demons that she really hated--their inhuman speed. It was almost impossible to catch up with them, and if you were angry with them, well then. You had better just give up, because there was no way that you'd win in an argument against one. Too bad she wasn't the giving up type.
Standing up, she brushed the dirt and leaves from her lower legs and the back of her skirt before fixing her gaze upon Tsuzuki. "He's really not that bad... you just need to give him a chance... it's true he doesn't talk a lot, but... he really is kind. Sesshomaru saved me multiple times the last time I was in this era." As soon as the words were out of her mouth she gasped, and instantly covered her mouth, wincing slightly. How could she have been so stupid to say that out loud? Great going, Kaname! Wonderful! Now she'll probably kill me! she mentally berated herself. |

Tsuzuki watched as Akina disappeard.
She can apperate? Hm, I didn't know that. Still, she's as good as dead anyway now, just healed or not I'm assuming Naraku will still be after her...
"Hm. I know very well what may happen to me. I can handle myself."
Since the demoness was gone, she momentarily dropped her facade to spit those last words at the spot where Akina had stood. She then turned her attention back to Kaname, smiling again.
"Hn. Did he now? Last time I ran into him he was ready to rip my head off."
Provided you were trying to provoke him....
She could tell the girl was worried by what she had just said. Her actions clearly gave it away, but being that she was an animal affiliated demon, she possesed a bit of that 'sixth sense' that made other's emotions a lot more obvious. Basically it was like saying that preditory creatures could 'smell fear'.
Still, She knew the girl was scared, and would most likely be expecting something. Now was not the time to attack....

The seventeen year old was very glad indeed, that Tsuzuki didn't seem to notice her slip up, and mention of 'last time in this era'. That would undoubtedly have been hard to explain. Perhaps even impossible. She hid a sigh of relief with a sigh of annoyance at what the demoness said.
It was true that Sesshomaru was hard to get along with, and, even though she had feelings for him, she doubted that he thought of her as anything more than a nuisance. When she had left, he could barely more than tolerate her presence with him and the others. "Yeah... Sesshomaru can be difficult to talk to... or be around for that matter." |

Yes, Tsuzuki knew she was talking very familiarly to this girl. It was amazing what you could get away with when people trust you. This girl was worth the act-- she had something many demons would kill for. Tsuzuki didn't really think she'd earn her trust fully, but if the girl didn't feel threatened at least she could take her by suprise.

"Really? I actually can't see Sesshomaru doing that." It was a wonder that she was still alive, and still seemed to be in perfectly fine health. The only demons that Kaname had had such luck with before were Sesshomaru, Jaken, Shippo, and even Naraku and his incarnations. But of course when she was still alive with them, they thought that she was Utsugi. She never would have lived for so long had they known the truth.
"I think the only reason he even helped me with Naraku was because that guy threatened Sesshomaru's charge, Rin. Naraku kidnapped her, and almost killed her. And then... well, the second time I think he might have only helped because he felt that the rest of us were too weak to deal iwth Naraku ourselves." |
