Kouki was running in the forest, she was running from a demon she had not chance of beating. She was running as fast as her four legs would carry her. She glanced back over her shoulder a couple of times and seen the demon was still after her. She ran even fast trying to escape the beast. She looked back a final time to see that the demon was no longer chasing her. Tired she walked up to a cliff that overlooked a river. The moon was shining on on the water making it look beautiful.
Kouki was near the Wolf Demon Caves but she didn't know it, she was in her true wolf form. It was dark, and she was staring at the moon. She loved the moon she always found it interesting.The moons light reflected off her bright blue eyes. She felt a long howl escape her mouth, then she got some one scent. They was a wolf demon like her self, She growled at them not sure who they were.

Kouga grunted as he slammed his foot into the demons head. With another grunt he swiped the demons legs from under him and slashed at it's neck. Jumping back he watched it die with soft eyes, wiping his dagger off in the damp grass. "Baka...." he mumbled, his body going back to its erect form. Now where did that wolf run off to? He glanced through the dark trees, sniffing at the air.
Stepping through the trees he followed her scent, a small grimace on his face as he stepped on his left foot. Great.... I think I sprained it... Breaking through the trees he stood behind the wolf who glanced over a cliff. He knew that she knew he was there, and smirked lightly as she growled at him. "No need to freak out, I saved you, why would I hurt you?"

Kouki looked at him, and changed into her human form. "Your the reason that demon quite chasing me? Well I thank you" She told him, yet she knew that something had to happen to the Demon for it to quite chasing her, I mean it would not just grow tired and quit. For some reason it wanted to kill her, but that reason was unknown to Kouki.
"I'm sorry I didn't get you name? I'm Kouki." She asked him, she looked out over the cliff. She thought about jumping off and hopefully falling to her death. After all they would be looking for her, the members of a wolf clan far far away. They would force her to be the leader as the already tried to once. She didn't want to be leader of anything, it's her parents fault because they were the leaders but they died so the power was passed down to her. "Why did you save me? You don't even know me" She asked

Kouga rasied his brow as he stared at her, his eyes watching her curiously. She seems so familiar...... His brow furrowed slightly, his eyes darkening in the moonlight. Crossing his arms he scoffed, "Feh, you don't have to thank me." He turned his head to the side for a moment as his ear twitched. "My name is Kouga." he turned back to stare at Kouki. "I'm the leader of the wolf demon tribe here." He straightened his back, arrogant and proud.
His tail flicked back and forth, his mind wandering to other places, to other people. I wonder where Kagome is... He dropped his arms and continued to stare off into space. Haven't seen Ayame in awhile, I wonder where she's hiding... He resisted the urge to turn around and glance through the trees. At Kouki's words he perked up again, "You seemed like you needed some help. I was only trying to do you a favor."

Kouki looked at him, 'so he's the wolf demon tribe leader here' she thought to herself. She could tell that he was thinking about things. She wondered what. "I do need help, with a wolf demon clan far from here." She said. It was not like her to go around tellung people that she was leader of a far off Wolf demon Clan and that she really didn't want to be. But something about this person made her want to tell her everything.
Kouki took a deep breath, "My parents where leaders of a Wolf clan far away from here, but they died and now the members are trying to force me to be the leader of it. And I really don't want to be leader of anything." She told him. Still looking out at the river below thinking if she should jump or not.

He blinked, listening to her but wondering why she would tell him all this. He watched her eyes move back to the river below the cliff and raised a brow. "Hey," he called over to her, taking a few steps towards her. "If you want my help, I'd be more than happy to help you." He took another step towards her, blinking slightly.
"But we should probably move some where else. Maybe some where we could sit down and talk." He offered his hand to her, a soft smile on his lips. He didn't need the girl to go jumping off the edge of the cliff. He didn't have the energy to jump after her and save her.

She looked at him and took his hand. "How are you gonna stop a whole Wolf Demon Clan by yourself?" She asked him. If he really did plan to stop her clan then there is no chance. There are too many demons in it. And It would not be fair 15 against 2. But still she has not seen how powerful he is, maybe he will surprise her.
So far this guy was the nicest any one has ever been to her. Besides her parents but they died while she was just a pup, so she really didn't remember them that good. She looked back at the cliff, remembering the way to get here if she did want to jump off one day. Some of her black hair fell down in her face she pushed it back.

Kouga grasped her hand gently, walking back towards the forest and dissolving into the shadows of the trees. His eyes watched the area around him as they continued walking, taking her in a different direction then the dead demon. "You leave that to me." he answered her question, his pride slightly hurt slightly from her words.
Then again she didn't know him.
He sniffed the air, his eyes still grazing around the area and his hand still wrapped around hers. "So how did you end up all the way out here? Kouki was it?" He glanced back at her for a moment before continuing his trek.

"Running from the members of my clan." She answered him, "And yea it is Kouki." She added. Her hand still holding his not sure where they were going. She smelt the blood from the dead demon that was chasing her earlier. "It's what you get" She mumbled under her breath.
Then it dawned on her, what was she going to do after they handled her clan? Where would she go back to? A big empty cave. "Great something new to worry about." She said to herself not sure if Kouga had heard her or not. She glanced around and the moon was still able to be seen. She smiled seeing it, she loved it after all.

Kouga's ears were listening to her mumbles, his eyes watching the trees. "Hmm." he perked his head, barely catching the last thing she said, stopping he turned to face her. Realizing he was still holding her hand he let it go and crossed his arms, watching her.
"What was that last part? I didn't quite catch it." He eyed her, his ears switching tunes and listening to the trees. His cave was a few miles away, and if they kept moving they'd make it there in a few hours.

"Huh? Oh it was noting, just mumbling to myself." She said. She really didn't want to repeat herself because it would be like she was begging to stay with him. And she really didn't know him enough plus she didn't want to bother him anymore than she needed to. "It was noting." She told him.
She then got the scent of a half Demon passing by, she could tell it was half and she thought it was a dog demon. But she was not sure, she knew that it was alone though. She felt kind of sorry for it because she knew it was not fun to be alone. She had been alone for years running from her clan.

Kouga eyed her for another minute before turning away. One minute she's spilling her history, the next she's all quiet. He started walking again, his eyes watching the trees. "If we hurry we'll be at my tribe in a few hours." His ear perked at another sound. A branch broke in the distance, sending a pile of snow to the ground.
He shivered, glad he was no where near it. He didn't have a deep hatred for snow, just not a very fond feeling. "You'll be safe with my tribe." He said back to her, sniffing the air he caught the scent of a demon, twitching her sniffed again.

"You know. You dont have to do all of this. I don't want to be a bother to you." She told him, it was true she really didn't want to bother him more than she already had. She too heard the branch breaking. And hurried along so now she was standing next to him. She really never liked evil demons and sure she can fight good but she really didn't like to.
InuShaki was in a tree when she got the scent of Kouga and some other wolf demon. She smirked that damned wolf always annoyed her so now she was gonna annoy him. Running thought the snow his scent got closer and closer. She jumped on a tree a couple feet in front of him and the wolf. "My my Kouga, Picked a new girl over Kagome huh." She said grinning a fanged grin.
OOC:I'm bring InuShaki in this but not for long, she will leave after a few posts

"I told you I'd help you, so I'm going to help you." He smiled back at Kouki. "I'm a man of my word." He heard a familiar voice and slumped his shoulders slightly.
Kouga stared up into the tree, his eyes rolling as he spotted InuShaki. "Feh," He crossed his arms over his chest as he glared up at her. "I'm not a one woman type of man." He raised a brow and winked at her, laughing like hell on the inside. Then he glanced to the side and sniffed the air lightly.
Clearing his throat he looked down for a moment before staring up at her and mumbling. "She's not around is she?"

"No, she is off with Inuyasha, talking about the pup they have on the way." InuShaki in formed in. 'this could get interesting.' she thought. She jumped down from the tree and walked up to Kouga and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Kouga, She picked Inuyasha they are gonna get married soon. They have a pup on the way. So It's good you found this little wolf here, now she can be your mate." She said keeping a straight face but laughing in the inside.
Kouki looked at the girl, she could tell by her scent she was a half demon. "Kouga who's she? And who are Kagome and Inuyasha?" She asked raising a eyebrow at the half demon. She heard him mumble something but couldn't make it out. "Is this Kagome person a old mate of yours?" she asked. 'but we wolves mate for life. Maybe something happened.' she thought
