Strengths:
Weaknesses:

Detailed Personality Description: Miroke can easily be described as a pacifist, but he'd fight when necessary for defense. He always tries to avoid any kind of physical conflict without the need for violence. He hates fighting others because that normally would lead to someone's death, which he doesn't like to deal with, even though it's his job.
It kinda bothers Miroke that he cannot be seen by humans, or anyone with the smallest amount of human blood in them, even though those are the ones he performs konso on. He spends most of his time alone because demons would attack him, for his human appearance, and he must send spirits to the afterlife immediately when he finds them. It's not like he can stop and chat while their soul corrupts from being outside of its body so long.
He would happily give up his duties to just live life, but then souls that didn't pass on would become corrupted and would never be reincarnated. After a while, existence could stop if it continued. The only companion he has is his sword, which is just like him when it comes to death.

History
Detailed Personal History: Miroke's clan has existed as long as man and youkai have. They have remained pure for reasons noone has explained, even though they have bred with other clans throughout the millenia. Even human mates didn't breed hanyo, just more youkai. The reason is that they don't exist because they evolved. The clan of shinigami exist to send lost souls to the afterlife. To obtain this goal, they even age slower than normal youkai.
From a very early age, Miroke has hated death. The irony being that without death, he wouldn't exist. It would also iritate him to no end that humans could neither see nor hear him. Because of his human-like appearance, demons would attack him thinking that he was human. He resented the thought that, one day, he would have to send the souls of the dead to the afterlife. He had thought that, if they didn't want to leave, then why make them. These thoughts were abolished when his father told him that a soul would corrupt once it had no body and the being would simply cease to exist. They could never be reincarnated.
When he was ten years of age, Miroke's father took him with him when he had to perform a konso, or send a spirit to the afterlife. This is simply done by tapping the soul's forehead with the hilt of their sword. After a while, Miroke got used to it and started to learn to perform it himself, once he obtained a way fo doing so. He couldn't practice with his father's sword, as it wouldn't work for him, but he got the technique down enough.
At age thirteen, Miroke started to learn the art of swordsmanship. He had to use a practice sword made of wood for a year, but he soon became skilled enough to use a real one. It was crucial that his clan learn the art of swordsmanship at a young age, as it was tradition that they could not use any other weapon to defend themselves with. Miroke became anxious to obtain his own zanpakuto, or soul cutter, so he could learn more, but that happened at different moments in his family's lives.
At approximately the day of his twenty-second birthday, a sword appeared next to Miroke, sheathed, in his sleep. He was excited that he had finally obtained his zanpakuto after years of waiting, but he knew that this was more dangerous than any other blade and would take many years to just grasp its power. After better learning to use the sword properly, as it weighed nothing in its owner's hands, Miroke began performing konsos on his own. He only missed the forehead on his first attempt.
After another fifteen years, Miroke heard his zanpakuto speak to him. This confused him until his father explained that the zanpakuto was a part of their very soul and possessed a mind of its own. Its voice could only be heard by the owner, and its name held a strong power. Later that day, in a special training area, he stood out in the open, sword drawn. It spoke to him again. "My name is Encadenamiento de Laminas, the chain of blades." Miroke understood the words and called out the sword's name, not knowing what would happen. His youki flowed through the sword and a chain shot from the hilt, wrapped around the forearm of his right arm, looped around his back, and wrapped around his left forearm. At the end of the chain, which he discovered was razor edged yet did not cut him, was an exact copy of his sword that had appeared in his left hand.
After that, Miroke learned to release this form, or shikai, and even developed an attack along with a fighting style. This, however, took just under a hundred years. Just a few weeks after mastering his shikai, Miroke's father passed away from wounds obtained in battle. He did not go to the afterlife however. He had become determined to live forever in his old age, and it seemed weird that his son would have to perform the konso. Miroke stood before his father and drew his blade, calling out its release. "Link together, Encadenamiento de Laminas!" The chain shot from the hilt of his sword, wrapped around his father's soul, and the other sword anchored him to the ground to prevent escape. After performing the konso, Miroke broke down and left.
He now wanders the lands of Japan, sending souls to the afterlife. But he can never bring himself to kill a living being, except in self-defense when necessary.
