Detailed Personality Description: Kaname is a kind girl who cares for her friends very much. She would do anything to protect them even get herself into danger. She has the tendency to think quickly on her feet, and make fast actions. Even though she lacks physical strength, she can make it up with her powers. Through it all, she has a sweet heart that is in the right place. Even if her friends have told her not to help them, she will do the opposite, and help them.

Kaname Kururugi is a kind, caring girl who at the Kururugi shrine house in Modern Japan as a student. One day she is taking the bus home with her friend, and they are talking about how everyone is dating someone. Kaname blushes when her friend says that she does not really have any boyfriend. When the bus finally stops at her house she runs out to her father; and says, “Sorry for being late dad!” He says it does not matter, and makes her go to there storage room to find more items for there Festival. She looks around, knowing that she should have brought a flashlight with her. After a few minutes, Kaname is still walking in the dark, as she does not see the red star on the floor. She steps on it, and falls through as blue sparkles fly all around her body. After falling through, she ends up in a deserted road that is located in a place called the Feudal Era.
When she wakes up, she looks around, and tries to call her house, but sees that she has no service even if she was outside. After hearing nothing on her phone, she walks off, and meets some villagers. She walks over to them, and sees if they know where in the world she is. They see her, and quickly start saying that she is a demon that took there daughter. Kaname panicked then said; "Wait I'm not a Demon!" The villagers still accused her, and started to chase her. After Kaname runs away from the people, she ends up lost. She starts to get scared, and then a strange demon appears saying that she looks yummy. Freaked out she says, "Am I really going to die here!" When she cowers in fear a red star appears under her as the demon screams, and it goes away.
After the demon is gone, she ends of meeting a half-demon named Inuyasha; he sees that Kaname has clothes just like Kagome, and she ends up going to meet Kagome. After a few minutes of fighting some demons, the two finally stop at Kaede's Village. There Kaname meets Kagome, and Shippo. After everyone has met, Kaname Kagome tells her that she should try going down the bone eaters well. She then heads off to hop inside of it, yet before she does, Inuyasha pushes her inside of it. Seeing that nothing happens she steps out, and everyone heads off onto a journey trying to see why Kaname has appeared in the Feudal Era. When there first few adventures stop, and everyone goes back to Kaede’s Village Kaname meets Miroku, Sango, and Kirara. When the Inuyasha team is finally back together everyone goes off helping people, and answering the mysterious questions why is Kaname in the Feudal Era. At one point they meet someone named Kakuju a female who knows about Kaname’s power called the Shikigami.
After finding out about her powers she fully goes on an adventure meeting many people, and fighting demons along the way. After a rough journey, Kaname meets Naraku, and a mysterious woman named Utsugi. Everyone even finds out that Kaname is the reincarnation of Utsugi, and the only way for her to become human is for Kaname to be absorbed into her body. When there journey is almost over everyone ends up going to the home of Kururugi Shrine. YYet before they head off into the village Utsugi dies, and tells everyone about herself. When they made it to the Kururugi Shrine, they learned about how Utsugi and Kakuju lived together. After a while, all the pieces came together, and soon everyone went to go stop Naraku for good. At first nothing was working, yet when Kaname broke the barrier, and Utsugi with her last breath helped. When the last battle with Naraku was over Kaname had finally returned home. When she was back in her time, she was back in her storage room. When coming out of the room to her it seemed that nothing had really changed at all. A small girl asked if Kaname could throw a doll in the fire with her, so there wishes would come true. Kaname agreed, and said, “Well Utsugi, you have finally been put to rest... I’m glad.” She then smiled, and kept looking in the fire when a few minutes passed and voices were head behind her. They even bumped into her, and said 'excuse us'. She quickly looked to her left; and said; “OH! Everyone!”Smiling she giggling, and looked up at the fading sun, and thought. “Yea Right.” after a few minutes her day ended, and she went back to living a normal life as a student.
However, one night while she was sleeping she heard a noise, and ran right outside. A strange demon looked at her with bloody eyes. She gasped, and saw that her father was lying on the ground knocked out. She was not happy anymore, and ran right towards the demon knocking it to her storage house. The red mark was still there as she fell through the hole once again. Her robe slipped off, and she was dressed in her pajamas, yet when she was falling her outfit changed into her school one. The blue lights from before flew around her as she finally made it though the floor. Though this time she was not on a road... she was in the well. Looking around the demon was attack her as she said, “Shikigami Please help Me!!” A Red light just like before when she first came to the Feudal Ear appeared under feet, she looked down, and said, “Oh flame burning bright; turn into a sword of wrath!” The Shikigami power was blazing red just like fire! When the fight was over the demon was gone as Kaname climbed up the well.
After killing the demon she sighed, and stretched her arms out towards the sky... it was dark just like at home. She smiled, and headed for Kaede’s Village hoping to see some familiar friends. When she finally did reach the village Kaname smiled, and Kaede let her stay with her. After a few days she finally told her what exactly was going on in the feudal era, and the reason for her powers, and clothes that she wore here had come back. She understood everything, and stayed in Kaede’s Village to help protect many people for a while. After everything was all right, she headed out into the world, and hoped to find her friends so she could help them out.

However this time she was not accused of being a demon that had taken something away. Things were different even though some people knew her they still wondered why she wore her funny clothes. She looked around, as her day was very well normal. So far, she had not seen any demon, or heard any scream, it was actually boring. She slowly walked into a forest she had not really been to it before, but had heard something had been pinned to a tree. Kaname was curious, and ended up asking Kaede what exactly had happened in that area. She did not want to tell her so Kaname ended up heading there herself. When she finally did reach the forest, it was very bright, and had many birds singing... it was peaceful.
She did not think any demons would really attack her in a place like this, yet she could not shake the feeling something was watching her. After walking around for a moment, she saw a huge tree. There was a dent on its bark as she touched it gently with her small fingers. It was cold, yet something had been here before her... it seemed to of been here WAY before her. She looked around, and thought maybe a demon had ended up being caught on the tree. Though to her surprise nothing really showed... she did not really feel like walking back so she stayed. The nice breeze brushed over her face as she sighed in the warmth. When she had opened her eyes something was staring at her right in the face, it was strange. She quickly stood p, and got into her battle stance... it seemed to be a very familiar looking demon. She backed up; as it laughed with its evil red eyes... it had been the brother of the demon she killed.
She shook her head, and the demon tried to slash at her, but she had dodged it right on time. Looking around no was there to help her, and she had to fight it all on her own... she was use to it. The demon snickered, and laughed every time she had an angry face... it was enjoying her anger. As she calmed down Kaname breathed slowly, and said, “What do you want?” The demon only laughed as it quickly ran towards her with its strange sharp nails. She crouched down into a one knee position then said; “Oh flame burning bright; turn into a sword of wrath!” Soon after Kaname had said that sparks of fire rised up into the air as it turned into a fire demon. After the demon appeared, she directed the sparks, as they flew towards the demon. It soon after disappeared into dust almost like it had never been there. She sighed as she saw that her day was not going to a very peaceful one like the one she had hoped. Looking around she smiled, and walked back home to Kaede’s Village to enjoy a short, yet abnormal day.
